Philippines: Davao City vs Cebu
I'm heading to SE Asia for several months in February and the Philippines is my first destination. I plan on spending 3 months there and like Roosh, I like to settle in one city in a furnished apartment and do a few weekend trips to other locations. I don't want to stay in a huge, crowded and dirty city like Manila so right now I'm between Davao city and Cebu.
I've done some research and read the threads in this forum, but there isnt a whole lot of info, especially when it comes to the girls.
Was wondering if the resident SE Asia experts on the forum had any info or recomendation as to which of these 2 cities they'd prefer. I'm leaning towards Davao because it seems less touristy, has much less p4p, and I'm guessing the "exotic" factor will be stronger there.

I would not recommend Davao. In recent months the Mayor along with the DDS have been cracking down on "sex" tourist. They are actually planting girls in hotels, bars, and restaurants to catch men looking for sex only. Many foreigners have been beaten, locked up, and then deported in recent weeks. There is even a group of American expats who have been assisting local officials in catching these guys. Davao City is a zero tolerance city when it comes to crime and exploitation.

Thanks for the heads up, but this sounds to me like a good thing. I don't like cities overrun by sex tourist, p4p or prostitutes. I only look for regular non-pro girls through day game and pipelining. So if this new policy discourages whoremongers from going to Davao, it's a big plus, for forum member thinking of going there in the future.

Choche,
From what I hear and been reading, Davao is a gem. It's less dirty, less beggers a lot more relaxed with friendly locals than in Cebu while everything is abot 30-50% cheaper than Cebu. I was in Cebu last year in Jan for 3 weeks, I did have a lot of fun, it was cheap and a ton of girls and easy to get cheap accommodations. I'd suggest you spend 2 weeks in Cebu and 2 weeks in Davao then you'll be able to have a very good idea based on your own experience there. I'm also thinking of spending time in Davao in the spring so I'll be following all the info in here about this city with a lot of interest.

Lumiere, Iloilo sounds good, can you elaborate more on it, post a data sheet on it? That would be appreciated man.

It seems like i will head to Davao with Cebu as a backup. Im also always on the lookout for a great 2nd or 3rd tier city, so yes Lumiere, this Iloilo looks like a place that needs to be explored further and plundered.

Davao has a great scene for picking up girls, limited sex scene is a good thing. Cebu is a shit hole just like Manila (only easier to get out of... but it can still take 30mins to an hour), don't believe the retire to Cebu websites.

You'll get laid a ton in Davao... crank up the Date in Asia account and start pipelining away! Other low key spots worth checking out are Dumaguete and Alona Beach. Cebu is worth a visit for the shear amount of talent.

Never used Date in Asia before but will start pipelining with it the next couple of weeks. Tried Tagged yesterday and its talent pool for the Philippines is pretty decent. The response rate was around 60-70 percent so seems like a good start.

Good call, Tagged + DIA best two by a long shot.

If you must do facebook (don't recommend it) make a fake one that can't be traced back to your primary one.

You'll thank me later!!!

RE: Philippines: Davao City vs Cebu
Bumping thread, anyone have more data on the differences in beauty between Davao and Cebu girls?

I've lived in Davao, but not in Cebu.

Also, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of coworking spaces in Davao (the space I found seems to be pretty full and doesn't mention the wifi speeds it can give you) or apartments with high speed internet. Cebu, meanwhile, does have a good coworking space, and also has many apartments available with fast internet.

I was in Davao in 2016, there was a lot of power outage. (Like 1 or 2 hour every 3 days)

So if you are working on an internet business, Cebu looks better for a long stay.

I don't remember big differences about the women’s beauty between Davao and Cebu.
