More dramatic news from the report was a 5 percent decrease in the number of new marriages between 2009 and 2010, an unusually sharp one-year drop that “may or may not be related to the sour economy,” according to the Pew study.

The age of first marriages has climbed to a record high of 26.5 for brides and 28.7 for grooms, Pew reports.

Media outlets have to play nice, so they're making a vague statment like this instead of saying: "More American males are realizing that marriage is a fucking scam which only benefits females and costs males. They are declining to enter into such an unfavorable agreement in record numbers."

Things have changed a little; these days, it's the WOMEN who DON'T want to get married, and the men who do. The roles have switched.

This is the weird part. Even if men stopped getting married, I'm not sure women would care too much.

If you look at the things that traditionally made most cultures great, I don't think it's really possible in contemporary America. We're probably better off with booze and whores than trying to fight a losing battle and save a dying culture that already has too much momentum going against us.

Even if you tried to get married, start a family, and stay in the USA, your children are going to have it even worse than we do now.
