hip hop peaked years ago. now all that matters is getting the 12 year old girls that watch TRL excited about a hip hop song because they're the ones who have daddy's money to buy CDs with.

if you'd like to hear some real hip hop, try out Hieroglyphics, Typical Cats, Athletic Mic League, Blackalicious, Sweatshop Union, Classified, People Under the Stairs, Aceyalone, or Aesop Rock

I love hip hop, love lil wayne, and like a lot of game's other stuff, but I think My Life and his other new stuff is crap. I feel like Game's bit has gotten a little too old at this point. Yeah I get it, you like to name drop famous people.

If you're an outsider, hip hop has peaked.
If you're an insider, nothing else comes close or will ever come close.

The Game though....somewhere deep down he has some skill, but he wastes far too much time name dropping.

The newest banger for me is "Swagger Like Us" - TI feat Kanye, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne.

He spends far too much time mentiong other rappers.

JLP means me. I don't mind it but it seems like its every song now. I just think Game has enough talent and the voice to be better than he is right now, that's all.
