Yeah, he has been sitting on this footage for a while. His delay was trying to sign up a buyer and publish Travel Bum as a program on regular media.

He used to blog that he had promising deals within reach to sell the show. Coming soon.. I'm excited but I can't say anything yet! That kind of thing. But nothing ever panned out.

Totally disagree with you there, I believe Travel Bum has a pending contract with bigtime network Showtime of American Gigolos fame. If Showtime showed a she-male (I believe in Season 3) being banged by one of the Gigolos (the blonde guy) then Travel Bums show can only be described as PG.

I remember having to re-upload the Cuban documentary for guys here because people wanted to see it but it was nowhere to be found.

Damn I can't believe how hard he is striking out in Iceland. I watched episode 1 - 5 and I don't remember him ever coming up this dry but in past seasons. It does seem as if he always does fairly poorly early on in the season and then after some calibration he usually ends up doing fairly well it seems.

Youtube pulled them. He seems to be oblivious to youtube's policy regarding nudity...

Was fun and interesting to watch. I still don't get how everybody seems OK with him filming - especially since his camera has an external mic and strapped high on his chest. Surely people realize it could be actively recording video.

I will say this though, despite the fact that he interacts with a lot of women, he just doesn't have any game.

He's a decent looking guy, who's able to pull off a variety of looks with different haircuts and clean or bearded face, which helps him have some confidence to cold approach women on the streets, but his ability to communicate with them is lacking.

One of his problems, and I noticed this on the date with the waitress, is that he's too quick to want to get serious with the interaction. That doesn't mean he wants the relationship to be serious, but the communication is not fun, lighthearted, and conducive to building attraction.

The goal should be to create a vibe and also to establish intent. He's in a place where women are honest about their desire to have casual sex, and he's not playing into that at all. We're in modern times, this isn't our grandparents dating in high school and then dying days apart in their 90s.

I think travel bum's looks/height/size really helps him with women. In my opinion he has good game but it's a different style. I've heard him ramble about something philosophical and deep on some videos with (seemingly) no real script to read. I found that amazing. he's an eloquent guy with a philosophy degree. I'm sure he runs photography/model photographer game also. This really impresses women. Every girl wants to be photographed and look sexy....I think this is a real strength for him. he's also probably been around the world and is shoulder to shoulder with hot women...so he's comfortable with them.

there are definitly parts where he gets to serious...other times..i suspect it's for the camera/show. he's almost half interviewing girls at times.

His approach games generally comes off as cheesy, campy, and a bit dorky, but that vulnerability/dorkiness wins women over and it's part of his charm. He's probably haming it up a little, also the dorkiness works because... let's face it..he has the LOOKS to back it up. The cheesyness is intentional and I think he does it for his own amusement.

In the Cuba video the prostitutes try to get money off of him, he offers them chocolate and fucks the twins.


I wonder how he gets all these women to pose nude for him when they KNOW he's videoing the entire date and will put it up somewhere. Anyone have any idea?


Edit: Apparently there's some serious drama in Latvia about his documentary. The blond girl in particular is angry.

I agree with some of your post, he definitely has some things that work positively for him with women, but he doesn't have any game.

Some of his results come from the fact that he ends up in places where just being white and decent-looking is more than enough to pull, but when that's not enough, he's throwing up bricks.

Two scenarios

1) He lies to her saying it will be only for his eyes. Doesn't get her consent.

2) He told her the truth and she is receiving a lot of backlash from people, family and friends. ie calling her a slut etc. She recants the consent

You have to remember, Latvia has a small population of only 2 million. Half of that is in the Riga metro area. Small town effect going on. Everyone knows everyone. She is labeled for life if she ever wants to try to get married.

In the last Riga episode, he said that she saw the Cuba prostitution documentary he did. If she's seen his work, its hard to believe she didn't know what she was getting herself into. Sounds like buyers remorse to me.

I hope he keeps going, though. I like his work, entertaining and well produced.

Honestly, for how long have you been following Travel Bum? I first saw some of his videos almost 3 years ago when the NY street vids of him picking up girls on his motorcycle came out (since then he has taken them down), then I watched Cuba documentary in its entirety, then Colombia, then Latvia, and finally Iceland. I also had a chance to chat with him on his youtube channel. Dude has legit game...every place he travels to he get's laid and most of these girls are 7+. In Iceland he get's laid on 3 consecutive nights (yes, I watched all episodes including the nudity one's before they were taken down). Some of this forums highest repped players (take Slubu for example) couldn't even get that many notches in Iceland. Ditto for Riga as well. Another example, Roosh struggled mightily there while travel bum get's a legit 8 in the Blonde. So, show respect where respect is due. Also, let's not forget that this guy is managing to film most of these girls and post their vid's online. How many of your ONS would let you do that?

I think he'd have more success with one long documentary for each country. Would be less jumpy for the viewer, more 'brandable' and increase the chance of some serious views.

When it all comes on top with the women going to the local media etc is when you need to upload the next country's documentary and ride out the controversy.

Every time he gets some traction he stops for 6 months and takes all the videos down.
