AIE, what's the best city in NRW for girls and night/daygame? I've been to Dortmund, sadly only for 1 day on a Sunday and didn't see much but it's a somewhat big city. Could have a lot of talent.

Yeah that's right too, but I do remember meeting some people who were able to work in both countries. I don't know maybe I got it wrong. But anyway, it still doesn't stop an enormous flow of money into the country from German born Turks, and Germans see that as a huge problem and is probably the biggest cockblock in letting Turkey in the EU.

A turk with a german passport isn´t allowed to have a turkish passport because of the german law. But Turkey gives their former citizens almost all of their past rights.

No, the reason why Turkey is not in the EU is that the turkish/islam culture doesn´t fit in to the european culture.

The closest biological relatives of Turkish people are the Greeks, who also happened to have heavily colonized Turkey in Antiquity. And Greece of all places is considered the birthplace of Western civilization.

Also, Bosniaks are Muslims, but they are considered to be Europeans. Why the double standard between Bosnia & Herzegovina and Turkey? Spain, Portugal and Sicily at different times in history have been Islamic. France came close to becoming Islamic at the Battle of Tours in 733. Hell, Cordoba in Spain was once the capital one of the world's largest Islamic Caliphates. Does that mean that during those periods they were not culturally European?

I don't have an opinion yet of the Turkey/EU question. I'm just stirring the pot on some intelligent debate. What are your thoughts on that Bill?

Turkey is too big, to poor, too different.

But Turkey could be of importance geo-strategically against Russia and China.

I've been to Dortmund too and it definitely lacks something compared to say the cities and towns of Badem Wurtemburg, I've had more success with day and night game in 2nd or 3rd tiers cities/towns there, particularly where's there a university in the vicinity with uni events going on regularly

Just spend the last couple days in Dusseldorf for Karneval.
I went as a nun..people thought I was Whoopi Goldberg..Even though I was Method man(how high)

The streets probably won't be ass packed as shit when Karneval is over. (alot of older people are in the street while the young ones are inside drinking and dancing

In Dusseldorf there is high concentration of Russian women.In 4 days there I managed to get two girlfriends.My tactique was quite simple.I just sat in the central railway station(Hauptbahnhof) where tons of chicks where passing by.When I spot one with slavic characteristics I went and talked to her in Russian.I remember some German guys were looking astonished when I was hand in hand with a beauty from Moscow just after 10 minutes I picked her up for first time next to her mother.

In general Germans do not mind hearing Russian but they have a problem with polish.If you are in Germany do not talk polish you will attract lots of undesired attention from the wrong kind of people.

Polish sounds like syncopated Russian often described as bird talk.Russian sounds like flow river polish.For example droga in polish(syncopated) becomes dorogaya in Russia(vowels full).Zloty in polish becomes zolotoj in Russian.

A German ear can immediately recognize the difference and the judgement and mood towards the polish is usually bad.In general where Poles and Germans appear there is always tension in the air.Like with Serbs and Croats.

My first post.

Name's Dom and I just moved to NRW (Geilenkirchen), going to be stationed here until 2015.

I had partied in K-Town a few years back (Kaiserslautern; Bavaria) and was under the impression that all of Germany was like this (schnitzel, pretzels, girls approaching YOU in the club, women with amazing bodies, etc). I'm a little disappointed thus far but I will say the cities around (Dusseldorf, Cologne, Aachen, Maastricht, etc) do have some serious potential. Hoping it's just quiet like this because of the summer. Paying very close attention to "americanInEurope"'s posts. Anyways, glad to finally be onboard. Cheers!

I find the perspectives of this thread interesting. Just because someone is a native man of the country, doesn't mean they know more about what the women want. In fact, they may know less about the desires of the women, since women often lie about who they are interested in.

Being a foreigner of a different ethnicity is going to be an advantage for at least a certain minority of women wherever you go, especially if your type isn't common in that country.

Nobody likes the Russians in Germany, but because they have a reputation of being extremely violent and brutal, people rather shut up. Even starting an argument with these guys can be a death sentence.
