DC residents, or other Eastern posters, anybody have any good details on Dewey beach?

I'm trying to get a weekend rental over memorial day weekend. Is it true that these houses/condos fill up really fast even this early in the season?

Any opinions of Dewey Beach on Memorial day weekend? I heard its quite insane.

It's awesome! Definitely go to to the bars at noon Saturday and Sunday, So many hot chicks and big tits!
For hotels, make sure its near the bars! That way...logistics are set. Girls are dtf there . I haven't gone in 18 months but plan to again this year! But this was during July where it was less packed than Holidays. But you definitely have to go!

I had a share in a rented house a few summers back. Rent was from Memorial Day to Labor Day and cost like $20k for the house for the whole summer. 20 people $1k each, much better deal than a hotel if you go often enough.
The house had 15 beds in 5 bedrooms, plus various couches around the den and living room. It only got completely full for the July-4 and the two long weekends, because not everyone went every weekend.
Good times to be had there. Closing time in DE is 1am, so everyone goes to house parties to drink and hook up later. Just a few big bars in the city, you will find them quickly enough. Dive-y to the max but can be fun if you are drunk.
What I focused on was the Russian girls (work-and-travel exchange students) that work every god damn hot dog stand and ice cream parlor on the beach from Rehoboth down to Ocean City, MD. I specifically bought a second car - a used Saab convertible for $3,000 - and loaded my iPod with Russian songs.
Each visit to the beach I'd spend a few hours just cruising up and down the main drag with the top down, blast Russian music, smoking cigarettes (paging G!) and drinking cool Frappuccinos from my icebox. If some chicks looked up to see who that son-of-a-bitch is, I'd stop and holler, honk the horn, ask them if they need a ride, cheesy stuff like this that works maybe 20% of the time but as all players know it's a numbers game. Must have hooked up with 5-6 Russian girls over the summer. A few Bulgarians and Romanians too, and one Czech girl.
