RE: Japan: Pregnancy Harassment
Doesn't surprise me, it's consistent to their attitudes. The Japanese have this bizarre unquestioning devotion to 'the office', as though everything in and related to 'the office' is sacred and worthy of your life's devotion. Apparently 'sustaining the nation' and 'having a family' are trite compared to this.
If I had my way, any woman seen in the street with more than 2 children would get the same reception from the public as a celebrity. In fact in Russia, they do have a system like this - the State gives medals to women putting in the effort to make families. Perhaps the Japanese Emperor should start doing that too.

RE: Japan: Pregnancy Harassment
Japan is where feminism first changed the gender role dynamic.
I keep saying this, but understand it from a 'what happens next' dynamic.
There is no such thing as a successful species that does not breed. I don't care whether the kids die, infertility, or the culture changes that men and women hate each other. If sausage ain't plowing the pussy and then kids grow up to do it too, the there is no 'next'.
Athlone/Excelsior mentioned in a profound essay here, that the 'oppression' of men working and women staying at home is a myth sold by cunts.
The entire world, through a system of feudalism and serfom had everyone working to make a margin for a ruler/aristocrat/overlord/1%.
It was only through the combination of industrialisation and labour unions did the wage share shift to workers so much in the northern Europe/protestant areas of the world did male workers acquire so much material so fast, they elected for their women to stay at home and build social capital, such as raising kids and looking after grand parents.
The entire history of women in Africa and Asia has had women participate in the work force. Without this material gain, they did not have the option of staying at home.
NOT WORKING was a gift western men **GAVE** to women.
What changed was a bunch of marketing gurus convinced women they need a pay cheque of their own so they can buy handbags and shoes.
All that was sacrificed was the outcomes of a happy marriage, happy kids, workers getting a fair share because there was no labour over-supply, healthy dinners, respected elders, knowing your neighbours and less vacuous politicians.
So now we see women thinking that the ultimate outcome in life is being someone else's employee. Not learning, not improving ones self, but demonstrating status in a corporate heirarchy. They're sacrificing their 20's and early 30's demonstrating KPI's for the crumbs of profitability they can exchange it for the above mentioned shoes and handbags.
They forgo what is in a kids best interests, electing not to have their (best) ovums, the healthy ovums, as their genetic legacy while they are young. They'd rather 'build a career', and instead choose to have old, unhealthy, second rate ovums to be what gets fertilised.
That is not 'the mother of your children' material. That is not the success of your civilisation material.
In Japan, as the story goes, they're so far down the rabbit hole, they shame women who have any ovum fertilised. They shame 'next'.
My brothers, that's not evolutionaty success. Cunts are adapting to what is anti-success in an evolutionaary sense.

RE: Japan: Pregnancy Harassment
The population growth in many Asian countries e.g. China, S Korea, Singapore is very low.
Women are now so brainwashed that they believe that having a kid is a negative. A couple of months ago I was having lunch with a fat white American colleague…a heavily pregnant woman walked past pushing a stroller with a kid in it.
Fatty: “That’s so gross, a woman shouldn’t be having kids so close to each other in age. It must be really hard for her”
Me: “It’s normal, actually it’s good because the kids will grow up close in age and form a good relationship”
Fatty: “…erm..yes, but shouldn’t her husband be helping her out?”
Me: “ Maybe he’s at work?”
Her: ”….”
I work in an office in Los Angeles where there’s around a dozen women aged 20-30. How many of them are married and/or have kids? Zero
I remembering overhearing an Orange County airhead say this at my office: “Oh my God, my friend is getting married, I can’t believe it, she’s so young, she’s 26. I don’t think I’m ready for marriage yet, I just don’t feel ready”. How old was this bitch when she said this? 29!

Back in the day, you were an old maid if you were getting married at 26. My Mom got married when she was 18 and had my brother and I within 2 years of each other. My Mom and Dad are still married after 51 years.

How much time have you spent in Japan? I ask because you act like an authority on the country yet your profile says you've never even visited.
Japan has many serious cultural issues but Western-style feminism isn't one of them. It's hard to think of a highly developed country that's less feminist than Japan. Women are actively discouraged from taking work seriously and usually spend their life as housewives obsessed with cleaning and buying cute accessories.
For a long time the most popular office job for women in Japan was "office flower," which involves performing menial tasks like photocopying and serving tea: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Office_lady
Japanese mostly aren't reproducing because of the insane cost of bringing up children in Japanese cities and the awful "You will sacrifice everything for the corporation" work ethic, not feminism. The country has also been in and out of recession for the last 20 years, making it harder for people to get ahead in life and set themselves up financially for the responsibilities of raising a family.

"One of them, a worker at a daycare facility, said that after she became pregnant, her boss ignored her requests to reduce tasks involving heavy lifting. “I found the company’s treatment equivalent to encouraging miscarriage,” she said."
That's fucked up. But wait...later in the article
"Pregnant women in Japan often get accused of dragging down the team. "
Now I'm confused. If you can't lift the weight, aka do your job, doesn't it follow that you are actually dragging down the team?
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This was 25 years ago, however that does not matter. I was running a distribution warehouse and we had a pregnant girl working on the dock. She worked, throwing totes around and driving forklifts, until a week before she gave birth.
Wasn't fat either. Hell, I banged her at one point.
I will say I was impressed.
(She was a midwest farmer's daughter. Used to be the best girls in the world as long as you found a hot one. The parents put them to work at 8 years old milking cows. And mom made them make supper from about 10 to 12.)
On the flip side, 30 years ago women were giving birth in the rice paddies and kept going. Probably still do in parts of the world.
This is just another example of how everyone is becoming a candyass.
Hell, I find it hard to find guys that will work for 400-600 per day in the midwest. Granted, they are on the road, but they get 125 of that per day free of taxes.
Actually had a guy leave his radios and books in the parking lot after passing his rules test that he got paid $300 for.
And he had to pass a whiz quiz first.
No one wants to work anymore.
