I'm 32, good job, good place, live in a southern city with many beautiful women. Don't have as many notches as I think I should, so I'm going to change that.

Should I go younger?: I live three blocks from a decent sized university campus with students and sorority girls crawling all over the place. When on Tinder or POF, should I swap my age down lower to attract these? I plan to run in-person game, as well. I also tend to sport some facial hair or a small beard (probably similar to Roosh) but my blonde complexion has given way to grey/silver hairs there. Not sure about the young girls and this. As shameful as it is, when I was in college I was hooking up with/dating girls who were 24-28 or so. I have only a couple of 18-25 notches.

Should I go older?: I have always, somewhat naturally, been able to attract older women. It's a sexual kink and fantasy, as well. My age and older have loved the beard/facial hair that is multi-colored.

Same age range?: Obviously a go on many levels, but 28-34 are probably looking to "settle down" more than any other age group.

My first thoughts: just stay the way I am, age, looks, and all. I can socialize, chat up people, can steer groups or conversations, but I do need to hone game. Too much beta has crept in due to being in a relationship and the fact that I think I'm a decent person and think females want to see that.

I'm getting back into the game after a (good) 4 year relationship, that I broke off. I hope to make a concerted effort, document, track, experiment, and report back here. I do tracking and some analytics at work, so this stuff comes easily to me.

I can certainly see the analytic side of your thinking here. As you know, you can't analyze nothing. You need data. I'd recommend searching the word Tinder on the forum, there are a lot of threads about online game to get help from.

Reading Bang and the newbie guide is a great place to start as well if you haven't so far.

If you want to see what demographic will work better, do a sample set from each age group.

18-24, 25-30, and maybe a hot wall-survivor group could help. Do about 30 approaches for each group in person, and a lot more online. Then just write up what you find out. It'd make for a hell of a datasheet.

Bear in mind, you might find it a little difficult to get over the initial hump of getting back into the game. If this is the case, again, I suggest reading Bang.

Thanks. I read Bang a while ago, but I will re-read asap. I started into Day Bang. Did the newbie guide. While I do feel that I have good online/text game, I am going to really push myself with in-person game. It's not something that I ever mastered or gave 100% effort on. Many notches or gfs were friends, set ups, co-workers, the low hanging fruit.

Yeah I can relate to that. I still suck at picking up the girls I want but have been much more in control of the girls I get. If that makes sense.

Personally, I have no interest in older women right now. 25+ need not apply. Of course, to each his own.

I actually live in Dallas but work in Atlanta a lot. This year it's been nearly 50%, I typically spend 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. In Atl I have a roommate (girl, woof) who's a co-worker and she has the same travel situation but we only cross paths at the apt. for a few days so I basically have it to myself.

Any reason why no olds? I am in the mindset that my age to older will be easier or more realistic for me. Not sure why. I hate to admit that I may be totally out of touch with how to get on with a 21 year old.

I'd suggest you fuck a 30 year old, then an 18 year old and compare... +1 if you do them both at the same time.

Older women? Well, if you want a wife, she's going to have a shorter hotness lifespan. The risk of complications during birth are increased as the age of both parents increases. Personally, I think that deep down, men simply know that 18 year olds are just hotter. Can't connect with younger girls? When the hell have you ever really been able to connect with any girl?

The girls I date who are my age are simply more adept at acting. Ever chase a girl, then once you started dating or, god forbid, marry her, and she turns into someone you no longer recognize and starts to make you change too?

Again, this is my opinion, I don't submit this as fact. I could be wrong.

It's not like I've never fucked older girls, I just want sexy younger ones right now.

Oh hell no to the wife. I've been out of the game for mostly 8 years. 2 yr relationship, 2 yrs off where I accomplished very little, then 4 yr relationship. I am ready to roll.

I will read up on college-girl as 30+ game as best I can. I was just reading the mini-relationship/age thread and that's kind of what lead me to my "age" question in my first post. Should I lie to 27 or 28? Does that put me in wheelhouse of 18-24 but still 33+?

Again, I am after notches. For fully exerting myself. But I also want to be sure that I'm chasing the right age and playing the right game.

What exactly do you mean by "out of the game" for 8 years? That's a long man. You need to go run some game and hit us back so we can have a more accurate understanding of where you're at.

I'm in my 20s so...I'm out of my depth on the whole lying about my age thing. It seems like a pretty standard practice.

You have a great attitude tho bro. Not like us angsty younger guys which will probably make things easier. Younger guys are, well...younger but we don't tend to have the experience in life that gives older guys an edge so it balances out.

Haha, tell me about it. "Out of the game" meaning that I did not have getting notches and meeting chicks as the #1 on my priority list. Was in two relationships, then didn't commit myself to running game when I was free. Probably overdid the career game during that time.

Though I am fully happy with where I am and much more confident as a 30+ than I ever was when I was 25. As many threads state on the forums.

2000man, nothing to worry about your age. Many (but how many?) girls like older men. Ideally, as some other poster(s) suggested, you should get from a girl as much info as possible, then decide to reveal your real age (but only IF asked) or "make yourself magically younger". Put it into relevant context.

Suppose, you talk to girl A who's 18-21 years old and she says she slept with guys her age only and mentioned something how she thinks older guys are sleazy. Surely, you should subtract as many years as possibly believable from your real age. Suppose, you talk to girl B who's also 18-21 years old but she dated 1-2 older guys and/or is positive about it. Surely, you should in this case play the card of an older guy. Context is everything and great listening and inferential skills just as important.

Yea, I am going to list 27 or 28 on dating sites. Then address as needed, just as you said. Keep fibbing to get the notch or play it off as others have done w success.

In person, I will vary the game on an as-needed basis.

I've got a mature look and large, athletic frame. When I was younger I looked older but now, due to good genes and staying in good shape, I'm floored when people and girls tell me that think I'm 28 or whatever. But I definitely don't have the flat bill, graphic hoodie, bball sneakers look nor do I want to. I don't wear suits or the southern fraternity bro thing, either. So my style should be ok.

I'm also going to be tracking running game as a 27 year old and as a 32 yr old...and see the differences.

I agree with the advice so far. I will only add a little more since I am in Dallas as well. I cannot speak to the ATL situation. From my experience, I would ask you how old your friends are, and if they are the same age or older- maybe find a few younger wingmen to run with every once in a while. If you have a youthful appearance, and get into a mixed crowd, it doesn't seem to be a problem for me. I have a short beard with a few grays mixed into a tri- colored swedish beard (blonde, red, and brown). I have no intention of going to a baby face to make girls think I am younger, but I can see how that may help some men. I would also point out that my success has not really come from going to bars and clubs. It has come from "athletic" and outdoor events... wake boarding, rock climbing, lake house parties, pool parties, snowboard trips during spring break, etc. If you can hold your own in these areas, your age has little relevance.

At your current age, I pulled a 20 year old on the same night my 25 year old wingman shacked up with a 19 year old. This was our best "under par" (their combined age minus our combined age) for 2 new girls in the same week, but even at 35 now, my last 3 have been 25, 22, and 27. Given that you're in your 30's and what seems to be fresh out of a relationship - you don't sound like you've dated a whole lot of women. You want notches.

I have no doubt that you'll get your dick wet and run through some cute girls - but not to be cliche - the real work is on the inside. You don't write with the urgency necessary to achieve what you want.

If you want the things you want, it's not "tips and tricks", it's personality transformation. You're still you, it's just that now you're expressing what you want and expecting to get it.

So if you've ever been hankering for a fat juicy steak, and did what you need to do to go get that steak - that's how you're now approaching life.

A lot of your fledgling attempts to "run game" is going to be following someone else's script. Maybe not their lines, but trying to integrate how that person says the world works with what little you know.

As for the age bracket

Gus, thanks a lot. We sound similar, I'm of Norwegian heritage so our beards probably match. I definitely need younger wingmen, no doubt. A lot of my friends are tied up, having kids, married, etc. But you make a good point on the non-bar related activities. I need to get more into those, I do play in a hoops league, and in a work-related networking group. Though expanding my circle of friends needs to happen.

It sounds like you run a lot of in-person game. Something I am starting to do and plan to do much more concertedly. I will play some with online. But my focus will be in-person.

Hey WIA, wow. Thanks for the info. Yea, I'm on the same line with a lot of what you've suggested. I've read up on the online dating threads, and recently the ZDB strategy, good stuff. I think I will employ more of a drink-bang method and really try to stay away from dates/dinners. I agree, a real waste of time.

But you are 100% right, I view my mission as requiring (in order):
1. New mindset
2. Volume
3. Brute force

This is all predicated on that fact that I simply feel like I don't have enough notches. Given my appearance, health, personality, etc., I feel I should have more than 13. But it's when you've got that friend who's less "X" than you, but has 1000x more game and notches than you. It's the way he carries himself and that confidence. That's what I want to tap into and emit to females b/c I know I have it in me.

Approach older and younger girls.

This is actually one of my weaknesses. Sometimes I pass on approaching "older" looking girls. Even if you're not as attracted to them, its great game practice especially if you are a younger guy. Older women often have stronger frames so it trains you to hold your own and often have better banter and conversational skills.
