So just listened to the Matt Forney show and did see a few articles online before about the decline of clubs. Since our objective going out is to get laid I'd like some insight from you guys and if your experiences match up.

To be fair his podcast and the articles really only mentioned the US and UK. I'd like to know how things are here across the continent. My own impression as a newbie to game is that the club scene still has it's merits ,but perhaps bars,day game has better ROI. I'll need more time to give a fair opinion.


Your own thoughts will be much appreciated.

Pure clubs with unbearably loud music are one of the worst places to game. Even if you have A-dancefloor game, you have to talk somewhere for a few words usually, for a little bit of comfort.

I used to think this until I learned how to game in these places.

The fact that it's loud actually works to your advantage since you can push things sexually very quickly.

And EVERY club, even the loudest "pure" clubs, has a smoking area or patio or at least some area which is more quiet and where you can speak.

For getting numbers and dates, the club is definitely worse. But for same night lays it's by far the best venue.

Clubs have been declining in numbers and atmosphere since the widespread introduction of smart phones and social media. Many people at the clubs sit in corners on couches or at the bar on their smart phone.

It takes a certain breed of gamer to be able to handle this and I feel dance floor game is even more effective. It's almost as if people to go clubs waiting for something to distract them from digital life and give them a real life fun experience. With tight dance floor game you can add that real life experience that many people are missing.

You add a vibe and party atmosphere that many people look for when going to a club. Many clubs lost this atmosphere and try to recreate with gimics or special DJs. The people that go out to clubs need to crave that party vibe instead of craving a dancing selfy that will get tons of likes and social validation. Many times they need someone to spark that.

This makes it even easier to become King of the Club if you can bring more people and get people talking about the fun time they had Friday, Saturday, etc. night at that club. That will get more people interested in going and create a better atmosphere because they know what to expect which is to party and have a good time in real life.

The problem is that is unlikely on a large scale because of too many digital distractions and less disposable income. Club game is still alive and well for the right type of men.

We've been talking about the death of night game for at least five years.

Its rebirth has been into some shit that has an incredibly low ROI.

Most guys at this point are either stuck in venues that are sausage fests or filled with chicks who are sexually unavailable, so they go home with their dicks in their hands, but not before stopping off at a strip club.

The strip club is the new night club, and that's even worse.

There was a similar thread about this specifically for the UK, and the articles you referenced are in fact UK news sites and only outline the UK.

I think it's a shame, while I am abysmal at club game it has still somehow led to some pretty fucking cool adventures and lays I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

However I can't ignore the facts, it is getting worse at least in the UK. I've witnessed 3 places I used to go to close down in the last year. I don't think the blame should be put on social media and such, it's just really tough times in the UK for everyone.

On the part of the person going out, booze and entry fee is expensive. On the part of club owners rent and staff are expensive. Everyone loses now that cost of living is so high here.

Long story short, most people are too high and/or drunk to really be getting it in on the dance floor -- exception the high-end salsa scene which is really about the dancing, and most of them are trained dancers who don't need to drink before dancing -- if you go to casual spots, being too good of a dancer can work against you, as subconscious girls who can't dance -- note, when you get really good at dancing, you'll find out that most girls can't dance for shit -- will reject your requests.

Being able to dance is a great skill, I can pretty much go anywhere and ask a girl to dance with me, and I'll make her look good, but you need an environment where girls actually want to dance and not just sit around and bullshit, and you have to understand that being able to dance more often than not gets you a "thank you" at the end and not much more.

The rise in social media has also led to an increasing number of private parties or clubs around the world. This has the effect of pulling away quite a few of the best women (also men) from club venues.

In general social media changes all games. Really, it changes society completely.

That is for the most part what I do and what I mean by dance floor game. Look for the girls that are there to dance and look like they want to dance close with a man as opposed to with their girlfriends.

The skills you can dance with where you take over the dancing and a girl follows your lead grinding with you. Once I choose one these girls my dancing skills let's them dance with me without realizing that 15-20 minutes go by and our whole interaction was brimming with sexuality.

Yes absolutely, people are shifting to online or retreating inwards to their social circles. Look at the "+1 Notch" thread, it's almost exclusively guys getting laid off of Tinder and OkCupid.

A bunch of my friends give me shit because I can connect better with a girl verbally than dance game at a club. I still prefer daygame, but have been going out mainly to clubs now and it's improved, even pulled at 5am a week ago. Clubs are what you make of them and your night may depend on who you go with.

I agree. Strip clubs are seeing more action. This is bad because it is conditioning more simps. I am just as guilty as the next guy though. I went out 3 nights in a row and it was dead in each club. The fourth night I went to a strip club but played mr. cheap asshole game.

It's not the decline of clubs that's the problem. It's the commitment required to make night game work.

1. You have to go out 3-4 nights every single week to different venues

2. You typically have to go after lots of (6's + 7's) unless you have a social circle
since they are going to be the most plentiful...or you live in a city where there are lot's
of 8's and 9's(L.A., NYC)

3. At least 2 nights have to be weeknights. And you can't take weeks off(i.e stay at home)


If you're not doing that, then you really can't complain. However very few guys
are willing do that. Even I don't do that because I have other things I want to accomplish
in my life besides hanging out at clubs/venues 4 nights a week. You can burn out quickly.

However that's what's required to win at club/night game today.

I agree, you're definitely accurate in your statement, but I would say that what you're saying is a requirement to have a shot, it's not the formula to winning.

I've said here before, I can share 100s of stories about experiences I have had at clubs and what not, but I literally went out 1000s of nights to have those stories.

The nights to polish your game are not weekend nights, in fact, those are the worst nights to do it.

Most guys are at best weekend players, they're regular dudes all week, then they want to play baller status on Fridays and/or Saturdays.

It doesn't work like that.

Exactly. You had to be aggressive and go out a lot in order to have an advantage
in a competitive environment.

It's really the same like anything in life: The basketball player who shows up early
and goes home late at practice, The kid who does hours of extra homework and aces
his SAT's, etc

Being just a weekend player is dangerous. Guys will do just that for years and years
and end up with a girl who's less than "ideal" and then wonder where they
went wrong.

You don't have to go out to clubs 24/7 however you do need to meet
and talk to women on a constant basis to stay aggressive.

Wait what, you have to go out 4 times a week to make night game work? Thats a bit ridiculous. If that was the case nobody with any sort of decent job could possibly have club game.

I know plenty of guys (myself included) who might only get out once every 2 or 3 weeks when work is hectic, or when training seriously for a sporting event, and they can still all do very well in a club. I agree that you can get slightly rusty if you havent been in a club in a while, but unless the gap has been a few months or more I don't think thats a serious problem.

Once you develop good club game you're not going to lose it that quickly. Its like riding a bike, more than anything else.

Well you know where I'm at, so here's my take on it:

Girls who are available go out during the week, either by themselves or with another friend. It's very difficult -- not to mention unusual -- that a large group of girls will get together for something like a Wednesday Latin night at a club.

Those girls go out during the weekends too, but they either have dates or they're out with a large group of friends, all girls, or mixed group of single friends/couples.

You should go out during weekdays just because the game is more conducive to finding a chick who's not locked down. Then you can take those chicks out on Fridays and Saturdays.

To sum it all up, pick up girls on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, take the girls you pick up during the week out on Friday and Saturday -- Sunday is a slept on night, no chick who went HAM on a Friday/Saturday goes out on a Sunday, in fact, that should tell you a lot about her relationship status, Thursday can go either way due to college nights.

As someone at mastery level dance game, I will say:
Everything is a means to an end. From what I've seen thus far has been less than impressive, but it is still an omega leap ahead from our previously "no one listens to techno / it's all dead" scene from what years back. The scenes still here. It just needs a solid kick in the ass. The big scene club here is a sad ass motherfucking place that's that's only a few guitars shy of a your typical hootie +blowfish concert. Dance clubs and scenes were built on the foundation of dance. Not standing in one collective retarded globby / spazmagamic demon excision bogus bullshit "awe fuck when da bass drops!" piss
I enjoy a good drop as much as the next bloke. But it gets a bit bone headed after about the 9th time in a set. Djs are rock stars some, but their job should be to get the people dancing and not sucking all the air out of the event. Some are way better at this and understand the core concepts of dance music while many more fail quite spectacularly
I can turn country line dance clubs into my own personal dance clubs with numerous girls bumping and grinding me simultaneously in minutes flat.

I think it depends on your personality type.

I've met extroverted and natural hunters who can basically turn their "game" switch on at any moment when they see a hot girl. If they only go out on Friday and Saturday they will still do as well as they always do.

As for myself, I am naturally introverted so I have to be consistently talking to girls in order to be at my A game mode. Now of course sometimes you can still pull girls just being yourself and more chill, but your success rate goes up more when you are in an outgoing mood. I'm guessing that the majority of the guys in this forum would fall into this second category.

I would never avoid going out on Friday and Saturday nights if I was running game on a consistent basis. Even if you wanna take a girl out for a date on one of those nights, there should be enough time to bang her and then go out to the club after. I mean if the pussy is that good sure I'll stay in and take a night off but it definitely wouldn't be my default move.

They are still going out for sure , especially on weekends , but just to different places rather than the clubs, as mentioned in the article. A lot of girls are going to private parties and events, etc

The 5-6s and unavailable 7-8s will still be there at the clubs usually. Quality has gone down in the past 10 years.
