I'm in Quilla right now with some forum members and it seems like a shithole. Traffic sucks, it's hot and humid and it's more expensive than Medellin from what I can tell.

The flakiness is slightly less of a problem than Medellin, but I still couldn't successfully get a date out for my first 2 nights here. Other forum guys with me have had issues with scheduling/flakes too. Quality isn't great for whatever reason, surprisingly the volume isn't good. Many clubs aren't open until Thursday, mayyybe Wednesday but we didn't go out last night.

I did end up taking out two of my tinder matches out yesterday for lunch AT THE SAME TIME (they happen to be best friends), and the one I banged (maybe a 6.5 if she cleaned up a bit and worked out for a few weeks) after lunch gave me the number of her OTHER friend. So there's that kinda kinky shit. I also Tinder matched with about 5 hot 18yo's somehow (I'm 30), for whatever it's worth. Went out with one last night.

But overall it's been disappointing. I thought it'd be like shooting fish in a barrel compared to Medellin after reading other posts and verbal intel.

Things are changing in Colombia my friend. In Brazil it is a bit better in 2nd and 3rd tier cities. Yes Santa Marta and even one week in Barranquilla disappointed. It was easier before in Colombia, but things in Brazil with the women have remained rather steady.

Does anyone know about a girl friendly hotel in Medellin and Cali? Budget is no problem, just need a nice place, where there will not cock block me. Churros, you should definitely check out Choco, I can recommend Bahia Solano and the neighboring town of Valle but bring a girl with you as the pickings are slim there. You can also go to Quibdo, a place I still haven't gotten out to yet, probably best to fly as some guerillas burnt a passenger bus en route to there from Medellin a few months ago.

Yeah I saw a bit of that too. Though I would not call all the girls they bang whores or prepagos. Those Israeli military dudes have some game and are pretty smart about setting up their tribe, in a place with hot willing young girls. From what I saw paisas digged their vibe more than your typical American or European dudes.

I thought about getting a car (I lived in Envigado on the border of poblado) called la frontera. I am a few minutes walk to the metro and like 6 mil cop ( $2-3) taxi ride to lleras. I got invited to fincas to go out of town, but all of the hosts offered lifts in their cars.

If you don't tip, it's not gonna look pretty when you return.
Prices for cars in general are more expensive than in North America. Gasoline too. Coupled with insurance and maintenance.....know of any good mechanics who won't rip you off. Unless you need a car ever day, I don't recommend getting one. You have uber, taxi apps etc and the metro which are significantly cheaper than owning. You can always rent a car if you want to. This advice is for those living there full time

The place I went to was high energy.

Basement club with stripper poles and Jew guys doing coke off the liqour soaked pool table and speakers pounding till 10am.

Upstairs was the kitchen full of Colombians making kosher food, I ate Jew pizza, they had another name for it and Israelis sitting around smoking weed while playing Fifa, drinking and gaming some trashy (although pretty hot) Colombianas

None of these faggy hat and plastic plate shit

The guy that owns the place is constantly banging young strange, he's probably in his mid 50's and as I walked in he said he'd have to get some slut to suck me off to make sure I was "cut" as he called it, I don't know if the girls standing around him understood what he said but they all laughed regardless.

I know as I get older, my shit has to be more together compared to 8 years ago. I will buy a house and invest in Barranquilla, but the one week I stayed last month, was not great. I took things for granted.
Yes we can do better in Medellin. Paisas are there for the taking, but as lone wolves or just with a wing...it is not enough.

Choche I have been in Quilla nearly 3 weeks and have not seen anywhere near close to the quailty of Medellin or Cali...Nightlife is ok but again the quality of girls i have seen when out is quite average as are girls online here.. the flakiness for me has just been as bad or if not worse than Medellin ( which i didnt think was possible) and add to that fact the humidity and cost ( thought it would be a lot cheaper) and much of the city is quite ugly, i would not come back in the future...i guess the one big advanatge is there are next to no gringos here.

Yeah I am considering Pereira as an option, as to where to buy the house. I just wish it was bigger because in all other respects it is a solid city. Cali just did not win me over the last 2 times I was there. A lot of flakiness (Medellin levels) and due to crime and other factors, girls level of trust just seemed way down. Also it seems economically depressed, where Barranquilla is growing fastly. And I would say that most of the North of Barranquilla is modern, safe and not unnatractive.

The best city by far in Colombia for living, if you care about more than girls, would have to be Medellin. If you speak Spanish, it's really not that much harder than any other city. Also, you can always take weekend trips and/or bring girls to you to capitalize on the "easier" girls.

Assuming you speak Spanish fluently, you don't look like shit, you live in the country, and you live in a nice place ("you have your shit together"), you should easily be able to pull a couple new girls a week in Medellin. I'm personally fine with one to two new girls a week, so can't imagine myself in any other Colombian city full time.

Is it same if you have a hotel or a private apartment? I mean when you bring the girl back, is it easier to bring to a hotel because they feel more safe? or same if you have a good apartment in a good area? Talking about Colombian girls now. I had hotel last time, almost all the girls I spoke to said yes to meet first time in my hotel room, but this time I was thinking maybe apartment, because it is cheaper and no cook blocking my he reception.
