I am sure I am not the only one who is planning on some traveling for November 8.

Currently I am booked into the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas for three nights. I jumped on that one many months ago as its:

- Close to me, only a few hours on the plane
- Vegas is a great city for celebrations
- Trump Hotel Vancouver will likely not be open yet
- Vegas might attract a few other of you deplorables.
- I want to be in the USA when this goes down
- Vegas has the most accessible poosy in the western world.

I know what a few of the guys on here are up to, but I am curious about some of the others.

Also, for the right party, I might consider cancelling Vegas for another locale. Just sayin'

Anyone know of anything in New York City ?

I'm in western NY, about six hours west of NYC. So far there doesn't seem to be any local parties. I'm on the bubble right now, but I'd be down for making the drive (after voting here first thing in the morning) if the NYC RVF crew has lines on a few post-election victory parties.

Wow, I like the optimism, but if Hillary rigs the election, we could be up all night with recounts and whatnot, remember the 2000 election with Florida. If it looks like the Donald gets screwed because of voter fraud, I won't really feel like partying. But love the idea in principle. I'd meet for a drink if guys are getting together in Los Angeles.

We will probably do something a bit more private, haven't decided yet. Maybe grill up some Trump steaks. The Hotel has been a blast so far.

Of course, but even through it all my optimism is not necessarily the man, but the movement. What Mr. Trump has started cannot be undone. Even he must be a bit surprised at how far this has all come.

Most of us here know that this is just the beginning, that the past year is only the pre game to big season ahead- win or lose.

My celebration is for the movement that we have all been a part of, and that Mr. Trump has brought together for such a massive election. Counting votes to become President is one thing, waking up a sleeping giant inside us the real cause for a party.

I'm envious of you guys getting to celebrate at various election ground zeroes like the Trump Hotels. Having a bad case of FOMO.

I'll be hosting an election party in a small, quiet corner of Sweden. We will conjure up some Viking-grade High Energy and send it across the pond for you guys.

Feels like the world will hold its breath on November 8. CAN'T WAIT!

Inauguration day is on Friday, 20 January. I wonder if Trump would consider, after the swearing-in is completed, walking from the Capital building to the White House like president-elects used to do? He could stop off at his hotel on the way and greet some of his supporters since it's right on Pennsylvania Avenue.

By the way, right next to the Trump Hotel is the William Clinton building. Will make things even better on that day.

I admire the confidence, but be conscious that it is unlikely Donald will win. Believe it or not, I heard from a friend that they knew someone who had already planned a European-themed dinner party to celebrate a remain vote in the EU referendum over here- ended up eating humble pie.

I'll be up for the results. Can't miss this.

Hope after the Brexit vote that there is a similar outcome with Trump. Will be having a celebration with a girl or two if things go our way. Not many here support Trump so will struggle for anything big but that is not really my style anyway. Funnily enough it's the guys that are most vocal about not liking Trump

Vote results will be coming in during my Wednesday morning. Odd time to plan a party.

Worse yet, I'm the only contributing forum member in Beijing. I gotta do a visa run to Hong Kong a week before the election, so I can't really justify taking another day off just for a party.

However, if there are Shanghai members who are serious about blowing off work/classes for a Wednesday daytime election party, I'll seriously consider joining you down there.
