TK, considering that a lot of these street fights degenerate into shirt-grabbing contests, do you put much stock in polishing elbow work for those sorts of occasions when they're latched on but for whatever reason you don't want to go to ground (other potential aggressors or a need to maintain mobility perhaps)?

Most of my experience is in a professional setting so that sort of business was strictly off limits, but I'm starting to look into more practical real-world stuff now that I don't have to worry about putting on a uniform.

Absolutely not.

If you are not trained in elbow strikes via Muay Thai, Silat, FMA, Kickboxing, Systema, Karate, etc.

DO NOT throw them. You are very likely to sprain your elbow. The shock and feedback of the jolt, will stun you and may take you out of the fight. That is bad because if it was not enough to knock them out, you are going to get mounted and beaten within an inch of your life.

Beginners in those styles, including ones from my own gym, have had to be put into slings for a few weeks because they do it wrong or make a bad mistake.

Muay Thai people especially don't have nerve feeling in their elbows, knee areas, and shins. Folks like us accidentally kick or bump into solid wood furniture and feel nothing, but if you did that, you might be on the ground in pain. MT fighters have calcium deposits in spots from several tiny fractures healing multiple times over and over. Making a callous protrusion from the bone. That is how Muay Thai can smash a persons orbital bones with an elbow strike and the reason why it's not good to hit untrained people with stuff like that on the street. Worse, is if they end up in a coma, the police will be waiting for the plug to be pulled so they can arrest you for excessive force and manslaughter.

That is why some Karaketas refuse to hit people and at most push people away or run. Sometimes people think they are just pussies but they know what they can do and are hard to offend. They don't want to go to jail for killing someone. If you could break 5-10 wood or stone blocks with your elbow in one strike, you probably would not either if you knew their skull could pop open. If you lived in places like Canada, power like that is a big liability possibly.

If some simple punches will do the job, best to leave the heavy stuff out, unless you feel like your life is in danger. (They have a knife)

I recommend that you get training first, in general. Elbow strikes or not. You could break a finger punching like a girl, only because you do not know how to make a proper fist.

I had a Muay Thai instructor who killed someone who broke into his house with a kick. When we trained we would do bag work for around 3 to 5, 1 minute sessions. A lot of the bags in his gym were filled with sand.

In Thailand they do that and then kick down bamboo trees.

I can believe it.

One of my instructors lived in Thailand for a while and did the same thing almost. In a pro MMA fight he did an axe kick (Mirko Cro Cop style) on the opponent and broke off a piece of the guy's nose bridge, broke the lower jaw, and it sprayed blood everywhere. They stop the match instantly and he had to sneak out the bar through the back.

Most bags these days are filled with denim and strips of clothing packed tight, but I used to drop grocery store bags of concrete powder or sand in mine, strategically in certain spots on the bag that only I knew about. There were times I thought I broke my own leg. It got much easier after a while, but it was funny to see a buddy or my brothers playing around punch or kick my bag and keel over rolling around in pain, all because they hit one of the hard spots.

I used to go to class all day, work/train at night, then come home and go into that cold garage and kick, knee, and elbow that bag until 3AM. Then sleep for 3 hours and go to class. Would turn down dates and hang up on girls for disturbing me while I worked that damn bag like a psycho. I miss that old bag... but someone stole it... it was full of holes anyway. Good times.

They behave like Migrants.

For us, these conflicts can be resolved by appeal to the deeply ingrained higher principle embodied in the law, that individuals have the right (within defined limits) to choose how to live. But this Western notion of individualism and tolerance is by no means a conception in all cultures. - Theodore Dalrymple

You can perfectly see that the gypsy guy punches/slaps the girl on purpose, that wasn't an accident at all, only thing I feel sorry for was that he didn't kick the other guys heads when they were down and left them bleeding with their heads open, he should have.

I agree - at first it looks as if it was 2 drunk dudes, but it is clear that they stopped talking before the couple and one guy suddenly moved his arm backwards for no reason but to strike the woman. Actually the fight was not over yet and they clearly moved against them. He should have kicked one guy when he was down. It might have gotten tougher for him later as they followed the couple.

After reading this explanation, I re-watched the video. Of the two guys you see initially, the one guy has his back to the girl, as if he can't see her. However, the other guy is looking straight at her, so the guy with his back to the girl can tell where she is. The guy watching steps back just slightly before the girl passes by, as a signal for his partner to swing his arm.

When that partner swings his arm, it doesn't look like he was just gesturing, it looks clearly like an intentional arm bar. If this is a known pattern, the boyfriend must have already been expecting it, and went shock and awe on their asses the second it happened.

It's good to see thugs and troublemakers get their asses handed to them.

Well there is a considerable minority of eastern european women in Ireland , specifically Dublin.

Despite the ugliness that people portray for Irish women, there is local talent everywhere. The only issue is how much is the quantity of it.

Anyways not that it matters a lot but the video uploader needs to be more updated.

The bouncer Is Not Irish but is Albanian.

He is from northern Albania.

His name is Fatbardh Hoxha ( his name means "white luck or good luck" in albanian).

He works for a security company owned by his friends.

He has been living in Ireland for 14 years. He has deactivated his Facebook account some times ago unfortunately.

The guys that attacked him were 2 Romanians and 1 English guy.

I think he is still working there now, but I am not 100% sure.

Just some more background about the story.

That explains alot. His looks for starters and the fact that Albanians are known for boxing and kickboxing. He probably did both or just kickboxing at a minimum. I can only think of maybe 1 or 2 Albanian MMA people, but there are many more that box or kickbox for sure.

Very specific Mirjan. May I ask, source?

It's just that, well, that must be the best attempt of an Irish accent I've ever heard coming out an Albanian's mouth, ever. (where's Atlantic?)

Also it looked like the ginger gene was present in more than one of the participants.

I could be wrong.

As far as I know he has done kickboxing.

Objectively I would say Albanians are the best in Europe in terms of titles in boxing and kickboxing, but always in terms of population of course.

I am not sure why there are not so many Albanians in MMA ( considering the high number in other fighting sports) but the new guy that just joined in MMA is Florian Marku.

He is around 19-20 years and old and in January 29 he become world champion in kickboxing for the category of 80 kg I think.

Search him in you tube if you want.

I would gladly bring you a more specific or lets say an '' official'' source but how can I?

The only way I can do that is that I say to some of his best friends to register here and state the same things or post some photos with him or something like that.

The issue is that the guy is not even part of the crew of the club, because he works for the security company that takes care of this stuff, which is owned by his own friends.

The guy is even discrete ( and should be because of his job) and he just became some kind of celebrity because of the video.

I am not sure of his Irish accent and i am not competent in that, but living for 14 years in Ireland maybe he had learnt to speak by Irish accent I guess?

If i find some of his close friends I will try to post some of his photos or something like that, maybe some days later.

Albanian bouncers are a common thing btw. In Germany many night clubs are owned by Albanians and truth to be told ( ah the irony) native Germans feel more secured in such places than in their own neighborhoods or common German areas.

People that in general cause problems in Germany, mainly Arabs, africans or Turks, know very well that they should try to fuck around too much in clubs that are owned by Albanians.

For germans is in anyway ok, because they are not known for causing problems. In fact they are so quiet sometimes , that I think the brainwashing propaganda after WW2 has reached the core of their minds and genes forever.

Send him something over private messages, if you want to. Don't post personal photos of him. For starters that puts your identity at risk and secondly it might be against the forum rules. Check with Roosh or Soma first to see if it is okay to post what you have in the thread, if you have doubts.

No more detail for me, thanks.

I was more expecting Mirjan to reply, "I am also Albanian and have lived in Dublin for the last 5 years so I know of him" or something along those lines.

I would expect there to be a criminal trial for public order offences looking at the press reports. As the incident happened summer 2016 (July I think), the court date can't be far away All will be revealed.
