During my subway rides into work, I have noticed a major IVF / fertility clinic has been paying for ads on the train specifically targeting gay and lesbian couples. I have noticed similar ads from other fertility outfits as well (also egg freezing services for professional women).

As a landlord, I used to advertise in the Village Voice (gays tended to be more willing to move into sketchy neighborhoods as first wave gentrifiers). I had a lot of gay / lesbian tenants in the past (and neighbors). The lesbians when "married" sometimes went the turkey baster route to have a kid. The majority of the lesbians though, their relationships weren't exactly stable: tremendous amounts of fighting. I kept having to change locks because my tenant feared her ex (lesbian relationships for some reason tend to violence).

The gay male tenants always gave me the impression of being horrified at the idea of having to deal with a child. One tenant in particular would regale me with horror stories of dealing with his sister's kids. Frankly, the horror stories weren't that horrible.. just the normal stuff you have to put up with hyper young boys and girls.

So these ad campaigns irk me a bit. Is there some new movement for gay/lesbians to have children?

Gay couple parenthood is a liberal wet-dream of virtue signaling. About the only thing that could top that for libs would be islamic gay parenthood, if ever there could be such a thing (certainly not in any islamic country).

I suspect it is often for the edification of non-gay liberals, given your observation of gay male couples. In lesbians, the primal urge to procreate is still present (for some I suppose), hence turkey basters, etc.

I vaguely know one such lesbian couple. The teenage son is a successful but very sullen, reserved kid. I suspect the Red Pill runs very deep. He is straight, respectful, yet craved male/teammate/coach company. I really can't say the lesbian mommies did a bad job, as it is, but this young man's judgement will some day come due.

As usual, the Law of Unintended Consequences will take a back seat in consideration. A distant back seat.

The need for buttfuckers and carpetlickers to have kids comes down to insanity and desperate self-medication at the expense of the kid they have. It is the same as the constant, constant wanking over gay marriage and the capacity to demand that Christian bakers serve them: they are overcompensating for knowing they are not like everyone else, so they war on society to make it so the happy heteros don't get anything that they can't have. This includes kids.

Invariably gays had shit childhoods. Being abused as a kid has a, shall we say, interesting correlation with a boy growing up to prefer cock later on.

They know they can't ever get that normal childhood back, so they desperately try to get it back by forcing it on their kid. There are deep, deep abandonment and attachment issues going on inside every gay parent.

On an unrelated side note, did you guys know gays have a derogatory term for hetero ( normal) people. They call us breeders.

This movement is just another push to prove that homos are just like everyone else.

Fags have been throwing around that slur since, oh, the late 1960s, but that was back when they didn't care how they looked to the average person and were fine with being on the fringe of society as long as they were left alone.

That term became big in the '70s during the 'Zero Population Growth' movement and again in the '90s when global warming / climate change hysteria started to peak. The idea that since gays didn't "breed" they were morally superior to heterosexuals.

I remember holding hands with my college girlfriend in Provincetown, MA and some gay men yelled "Breeders!" at us. I never knew it was a thing.
