They genuinely can't even run a party - the thought of them trying to run a country is terrifying, and I have typically voted for them on the single issue of Brexit. I shan't be voting for them this time around, the prospect of a Lab/Lib/SNP coalition is mortifying.

Look into the figures within the party and the gaffs they have made within the party. Farage managed to cover the cracks being the only serious politician in the party and having the ability to connect to many people. The pre-Brexit era also resulted in them having a lot of wind in their sails. Now that we are in the post-Brexit era and with Mr Nuttall in charge, the whole thing has collapsed like a house of cards.

My local Tory MP was a remainer, so it stings twice as much. As a small business owner though, the prospect of Corbyn getting into power is incredibly frightening, and could seriously undermine what I've spent all of my working life trying to build.

Just out of curiosity, who do you normally vote for if you don't mind me asking? I think Corbyn tried to address some fears from small business owners on question time, but I can't remember exactly what he said—or whether the small business owner was satisfied with the answer.

I am hearing from the grapevine that some of Corbyn's team have been in talks with Sinn Féin about backing him. First they have to abandon their abstentionist policy and enter the Commons. They haven't ruled it out though.

I previously voted UKIP. Brexit has been the abiding concern of my adult life, and the issue before which all others were necessarily mute.

Corbyn can say what he likes, I've read his manifesto. The money to fund everything he wants to do has to come from somewhere, and I've got a pretty good idea where. I've given up short term wealth and status in my working life so far, to finally be closing in on a little success and the possibility that this year, when I draw a salary from my company for the first time in 5 years, I'll immediately be in the highest tax bracket.

Corbyn's proposals will squeeze me, my ability to employ people, and my customers - as an increase in corporation tax will inevitably mean an increase in the cost of goods for the consumer.

As an aside, John McDonnell is also one of the nastiest, most entrenched Year Zero ideologues ever to have disgraced British politics. I find him repellent and would be alarmed at the possibility of him being anywhere near Government.

Upon casting my vote I'll ensure I check the mornings Sun newspaper and see what they're predicting. As far as I am aware they have called every election since the 60s.

YEAH!

I might just vote UKIP because I'd rather have inept morons on my conscience than a party who hates me because I indulge myself in alt-media, white male persuits and see those metropolitan liberals as my enemy.

Every time I'm depressed that the Tories will likely win and that they are really the mediocre best we have to offer politically at the moment, I am reminded that there is significant consolation in dealing a hammer blow to the cry babies and the losers who are the current incarnation of the left. I think I shall vote Tory on that basis alone. The hand wringing, should the Tories win, will be a delight to witness, and the despair once again palpable.

Jeez...the British education system looks messed up. This shit is so wrong on so many levels because it reeks the start of indoctrination in young children. I would never approve this if I were to have kids. Also, look at the very bottom of the letter: "...foundation of Christian values and practice". They don't realize that Radical Islam group is more than happy to chop off Christians' heads!

Doesn't look like good news to me. It's going to be very tight.

I think the Sun are alluding the a Corbyn win here.

The Sun always predicts the winner. It's who they back. Very unlikely that Corbyn wins outright, the danger is he gets enough seats to stop the Conservatives having a majority and then forms a coalition with the SNP.

It's highly probable the Conservatives will be the largest party, just not so probable they will have a majority. Wonder who'd the call upon if they needed a couple of extra seats for a majority. DUP?

At least they didn't add "Your child not participating in this trip will put both of you on a hate-speech list for life. You have been warned." like they do in many places in Europe.

Absolutely shitting myself at the prospect of a hung parliament

But a lot of predictions this morning are for a clear Tory majority

No hung parliament. Labour will have more seats than people think. Tories will be rattled but happy they've won.

I'm off to vote now.

@ budoslavic

You think thats bad? Most schools don't even do that for Catholic and Protestant churches. No visits to the big cathedrals and Abbeys or castles.

Our history of more than a thousand years is steeped in Churches, Abbeys and Cathedrals, not Mosques and yet you won't find these letters given out by Islamic schools to learn about Christianity.

Why should they? Learn about the old, dying world which has very few warm, young bodies to defend it? You are having a giggle there.

Go up to any Muslim parent and say their child will be visiting a Church and must respect the customs of the religion and you'll have a riot inside 24 hours.

The latest in hearing is conservatives to have a majority of around 40.

Which is an improvement over the last election.

Final polls are saying 46% cons 36% lab 18% fringe parties.

Again that looks promising.

One thing that is quite concerning. We tick our ballot box in pencil. Opens possibility that it could be rubbed out and recasted. However I recall this being the case in all elections and votes I've been eligible for.

British tradition to follow Dimbleby's coverage until the sun comes up, will anyone else be watching some of it?

I live in Bangkok , so the timing works that I can have it on in the background at work all day. Hoping for some scalps in terms of labour seats lost

Would also love to see kate Hoey keep Vauxhall to piss off the metropolitan liberals

I love first past the post, no other system throws MP'S out so violently.

For any Americans reading this thread, I know. British elections are a lot less rock n' roll, but I do love them

Unless RT or some other unbiased media is having a live stream I won't be watching it.

Kate Hoey will lose Vauxhall. Can't be a Brexiteer in a 85%+ Remain seat - whose going to vote for her exactly.

That's why I always bring a pen, and today I used my Brexit pen.

Massive voter fraud usually favours those with the most establishment support.

Corbyn is an outsider, even in his own party.
