Czech law now allow civilian to shoot on terrorist
Quote:Prague: The Czech parliament on Wednesday passed a constitutional amendment that challenges EU gun control rules by allowing legal firearms holders to use them when national security is threatened, including during terrorist attacks.

The amendment, which passed by a large majority, is expected easily to gain approval from the senate and President Milos Zeman, still needed for it to take effect.

The Czech government also said earlier this month it would ask the European Court of Justice to strike down new EU gun control rules that have its hunters and gun collectors up in arms.

Wednesday's Czech amendment was submitted by government and opposition parties and approved by 139 out of the 168 deputies present in the lower house of parliament. Nine voted against.

"We don't want to disarm our citizens at a time when the security situation in Europe is getting worse," Interior Minister Milan Chovanec, a senior Social Democrat, told parliament Wednesday.

"Show me a single terrorist attack in Europe perpetrated using a legally-owned weapon," he said.

Passed in mid-March by the European Parliament, the new EU gun control directive bans civilians from possessing certain semi-automatic weapons as part of counter-terrorism measures.

EU members are supposed to incorporate the new rules, which passed in June, within 15 months.

The Czech interior ministry said the directive would affect nearly all 300,000 legal firearm licence holders in the country of 10.6 million people.

The Czech Republic, where there is no recent history of terrorism, has been pushing for softer rules on gun control, unlike other countries like Luxembourg and France which asked for strict legislation.

Besides banning short semi-automatic firearms with loading devices over 20 rounds and long semi-automatic firearms with loading devices over 10 rounds, the EU directive prohibits long firearms that can be folded or concealed in other ways.

Well at least some in the EU are not duped. Maybe it's time to visit Prague!

RE: Czech law now allow civilian to shoot on terrorist
I am surprised there is even a need for such a law.

It should be self - explanatory that if you have a gun and you see a terrorist attacking other people you use that gun to stop the act of terror and save innocent lives.

If a civilian used a gun in the rest of EU to kill a terrorist who shoots/drives/stabs at people - would EU prosecute this hero as a criminal?

The "hero" would be shot by the EU authorities as a terrorist - before he even had a chance to drop his weapon.

Quote:The 139-9 majority vote was reportedly a reaction to the European Union’s directive banning certain semi-automatic weapons. Should this constitutional amendment pass the Czech Upper House of Parliament, the country’s 300,000 gun license holders will essentially be deputized state officials and exempt from the EU dictate.

The EU rule is too restrictive, by majority Czech standards, and is reportedly a reaction itself to recent extremist attacks in Europe. The Czech Republic has vowed to file legal action against the EU’s directive, the Associated Press reported.

Huge loop hole nobody thought about.

What are the law for legally owning a gun in Czech? And carrying them in public?

If the laws regarding those points are as draconian and cucked as in France (meaning you need your weight in red tape and paper documentations to even own a gun much less carrying one in public) then the law effectively means nothing because nobody will have guns walking around.

The best it would do is if people have guns at home and shooting terrorist through windows.

Don't take it too seriously. It's before election, Social Democrats look like they want to win so they say what people want them to. Nobody wants guns to be taken away as nobody ever saw guns as a danger and as well nobody wants to have Abdul as his new neighbour.

They are still just overpaid whores, let's see what they do after election.

Dalaran - You need to get permit once you are over 21yo, its a bit harder than getting driving licence in terms of law knowledge, practical part is easier, it's cheap and usually does not take much time. Concealed carry.

Yes. In Croatia, if you use gun for self defense, you are done. I don't know how this mentality is spread in the rest of EU, but I surmise its spread around.

Czechs are based and "woke".

Only 4% are for accepting migrants.

The new law not only broadens the ability for gun-owners to carry concealed all across town, but fire at terrorists at will. While there are plenty of guns in countries like Germany or Austria - or even France, the problem is that aside from hunting or special jobs that you cannot carry them anywhere. There are soldiers who are allowed to carry guns around and cops as well in private, but even then there are few who do this.

Any law or precedent to support your claim?

Why do you put the word hero in quotes? Do you think engaging terrorists to save lives is not heroic? Do you think it is more heroic to let other people get killed and change twitter hashtag later?

That is sad. But what are the reasons anyone aside from hunters, police and army would even get a permit for a gun if not for self-defense?

There is no doubt people who legally own guns who are not police/security/military or hunters. They may be rare but there must be. What is the premise they get their guns for if self-defense is illegal?

Easy Mage, I think Guitarman is just trying to explain how cucked is western europe. I can concur for the french part:
-carrying a gun or even a blade is strictly forbidden under all circumstances
-self defense doesn't exist anymore: if you shoot an armed burglar in your house even if he shot first, you will go to jail. So it will be worse for a terrorist (you can add a trial for islamophobia).

I know it is difficult to understand for our american friends: even though the US are cucked in some ways, you can at least defend yourselves. We don't even have that privilege in western europe...

RE: Czech law now allow civilian to shoot on terrorist
The Czech society is changing a bit since migrant crisis.

The best example would seen in mainstream the most prestigious music awards. The last two years band awards were give to "far-right" band (people send votes for musicians). The band made anthem for the most far-right party in the country that was banned at one point but never really went into the open NS white power rock. The "normal" entertainers are going against it and dissing their own fans if they see them in T-shirt of the band in question but hardly can do anything about it.

This is not that uncommon as guys from former skinhead bands from 90' got mainstream popularity if they calmed down their opinions, but these guys don't really do it.

Most notorious song about muslims.

As well the most mainstream voices go for example from the "best" czech bodybuilder and one of the most famous local youtubers. He is usually going full on with his stuff using "N-word" in videos wearing anti-refugee T-shirts and publicly threatening death to certain political figures.

"I don't want those cunts, filthy rotten pieces of shit, I got a daughter, slit their throats, no mercy with them." Banana

Best line was "You will feed him and then he will fuck your bitch, haha"

Another one would be hapa entrepreneur, mixed Czech and Japanese/Korean dude that led the mainstream anti-immigrant party, at least the last election.

The bodybuilder described him in one of his videos "Tiny dick, yellow skin, mongolian eyes but he talks muscle."

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1...fence.html

Here a quick reminder - there are countless others like that - a crazed junkie whose clothes were all bloody entered a house in the UK. He lunged at the women there, one being pregnant. Then a man used a kitchen knife and stabbed him. The cuts were not even deadly first, but the attacker fought against the paramedics and due to that he died on the way to the hospital.

Later the man who stabbed the psycho was tried and landed for 5 years in prison. In the UK it seems to be better to use a silencer and then bury the corpse.

Self-defense is intended to be forbidden. You are allowed to run away, call the cops and wait to be disemboweled.

Of course if you can afford a licensed security group, then they can execute any perp or wannabe terrorist on sight.

That is why the law in the Czech Republic is so groundbreaking. Citizens are allowed to defend themselves against rapefugees or terrorists.

The traitors do not only flood you with blessed enrichment, they also expect you to sit still while your daughters are raped by Muslims or you and your children are killed on the streets. They don't even arm the cops in the UK for fuck's sake - they still think that it is 1889 or 1989 before the blessed diversity enriched the country.

Same thing I will use. Sport. Join the range and get with their help. Just to clarify, self defense is not illegal (there is no such law), but you will get trouble if you excessively harm attacker.

By the way, even Czech social-media attention whores are picking up on Muslim hating, this cunt is probably the most iconic.

"For all women that want to feel safe in our country."

She is basically talking shit about burkas etc.

With repeated "We dont want a change, we are the ones born here."

Hell, should have approached her younger sister when I had a chance, maybe next time I will be there.

In NL a few years ago a jeweler woman shot two criminals (who tried to rob her) dead. She wasn't prosecuted,as it was self defence. Her husband was prosecuted for illegal weapon possession but thats it.
