G'day guys just got back(Plane landed at 3:30) from a trip to Malaysia to attend the MotoGp in Sepang. Here is a field report I have compiled of my trip.
It may not be as detailed as some of the other field reports,, but I think It will have some useful information nonetheless.

booking your trip
I booked my trip 4 months in advance, primarily around getting the right tickets for the MotoGp, and so that my flights and hotel cost's didn't balloon closer to the date. My friend that I travelled with booked all of his accommodation, flights and tickets to the GP about 2 weeks before. As such, he paid a lot more for tickets to the Gp, and sat in a worse section of the stands

Getting around
A trip on the train from KLIA or KLIA2 on the express train to KLCC costs around 55MYR. It's very straightforward and easy to use the public transport system in Malaysia. Especially with the way the traffic there can get.

I would avoid taxi's if at all possible, and use Uber/Grab when commuting around town or to clubs. From KLCC to Bukit Bintang I paid between 7-15MYR.

A taxi from KLCC to the airport will cost you anywhere from 100-225MYR. Depending on the time of day and where you get the taxi from. It will also take about an hour with no traffic.

Accommodation

I stayed at the Traders Hotel in KLCC, about a 5 min walk from the Petronas Towers, most shopping malls and several train and bus stations. highly recommend this hotel. It is located very centrally, the views are spectacular, and if you are a guest you get free entry to SkyBar. Which is usually 50MYR.

Nightlife
KLCC has some amazing bars/clubs that cater to people on all budgets, I will include a brief description of each one.

SkyBar One of the "places to be seen" amongst malays, lots of tourists, amazing views of the towers. Drinks are priced like those in most western countries, expect to pay ~$15-30 for a cocktail. Got approached by 1 prostitute. Girls here are focused on taking pics for Instagram, or are there with there bfs, not a good place to approach or start a conversation.

Zouk upmarket set of clubs in one building that caters to all music tastes. Very few westerners, mostly HiSo locals or HiSo asians from china/indonesia, as it is quite expensive to get in. I was the only white guy in the club. Good place to have a dance, didn't approach any girls, but had multiple girls come up to me, grind on me and dance with me. Girls here were pretty attractive, ranging from 6-9's. With the odd 4 scattered in as well. Didn't see any fatties. Malaysian guys will physically pull "their" girls away from you if they think that you are getting to close. Happened several times me.

SkyBridge Like SkyBar but better. No entrance fee, looks more upmarket and like a speakeasy, fantastic view, decently priced drinks, and it is way less busy. It's the perfect place to take a tinder date(more on that later). There is an outdoor balcony where you can sit/lounge and talk. Tipped the bartender 20MYR to bring our drinks out and then give us some privacy and not ask us if we want anything else to drink.

Beach Club Avoid like the plague. Generic hooker bar, similar to those in the Phills/Thailand. Full of drunk middle aged Aussies/Brits.

Gravy Baby Wicked speak easy bar, that has good drinks and decent food. Great place for dinner,pre drinks or a tinder date.

Bukit Bintang Streets lined with cool bars, highly recommend rabbit hole and the whiskey bar. great atmosphere and good crowds.

Getting Girls in Malaysia
My main aim when I was in Malaysia was to go to the MotoGp, getting girls wasn't on my radar. That said, it was very easy.

Tinder is your friend, use tinder from day 1. Include in your profile your height. I went from getting a match rate of about 40%, to 75% just by including how tall I was in my bio. Matched with a hot Chinese/Korean girl who studied abroad in my country. Spoke to her for 15 mins, then went for drinks at SkyBridge. We both bought 2 rounds each, she chatted to me about Malaysian guys and how thirsty they are, and how they all do the same shit and act the same. She stayed the night at my place.

Smile. Seriously, just smiling at people gets them to talk to you, they ask where you are from, then they ask YOU for your facebook/phone number.

Go to the MotoGp, had a family from Indonesia approach me and their daughter(she was 18) ask if she could take a photo with me. Said sure, while her mum was taking the photo, her dad has been video taping our whole interaction. Followed on by saying its my turn to take a photo with her. Got a photo, got her facebook.

Stroll around KL. I found the best places to see lots of pretty girls is KLCC park, and the water front directly near the petronas towers. The trick I used to to offer your services taking a photo of them, instead of them just trying to take a selfie. Chat to them for 5 mins and then ask them to show you around KL. Did this 7 times and got 7 numbers.

Sorry of this report isn't structured very well, it is my first time. I'm also tired.

Pretty accurate post.
I second using tinder in KL.
I was there in March and in the summer to visit family and I just can't get enough of the food there! I think it's the tastiest in Asia, but perhaps not as healthy as Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese food.
I didn't much like the "nightlife" there to be honest. Drinks are pricier than in neighboring SEA countries (except Singapore) because of the Muslim booze tax.
I enjoyed my 1 night at Zouk. I found Malaysian guys don't really open. They mostly bring their girls (which beggars belief!) and don't dance as much compared to what you will see in Korean clubs. Me and my buddy managed to pull 2 Korean expats there and had a fun night back at our hotel
The girl I was with had her phone blow up because I had apparently "stolen" her from a local who she had friendzoned haha

Malaysia is great because
1. food is tasty and cheap
2. 4-5 star hotels are among cheapest in SEA but good quality
3. public transport (KLIA express airport train, metro) is cheap and easy to use
4. great beaches (Langkawi and East Malaysia)

It sucks because
1. it's very humid and hot year-round
2. half of the population is Muslim and more conservative than Indonesians
3. hard to impossible to bang Muslim girls in your hotel
4. booze is pricey
5. service staff are pretty rude and need service training

I only really go to Malaysia to see my folks and get my fill of Malaysian food.
Just curious though, were you able to bang those girls from daygame?

I found the same thing as well about the guys not dancing at the clubs. They either get bottles/a table and they sit around it taking photos. Or they go to the "dance floor" and sort of shake from side to side. When me and my mate stepped on to the floor and started dancing, then they kinda followed suite.

If my main priority had been to get girls then I think I would have been able to pull a few of the birds I got numbers from during the day, otherwise no I didn't bang any of them.

I'm glad you mentioned the food, it is seriously good.

When I was at Zouk, there were no Korean girls at all, so congrats on you managing to find some. Japanese and Korean girls are on my flag list.

The Muslim girls with the head scarfs are all over tinder, they are VERY open to having a ONS with a tourist.

The race at Sepang was amazing, the atmosphere was electrifying.
Facilities were good, however they did run out of bottled water for a bit. So we drank beers for an hour before they got more water in. Merchandise stores are fairly expensive, heaps of sales girls, and almost every pavilion has a DJ set up.

Getting there, and back again is a bit of a hassle. Traffic is horrendous, and you can hire a driver for the day, take a train to the airport then grab a taxi/uber/lift, or you can take a shuttle like I did. They are 50ish ringitt return, and theyt leave from KLCC, KL central and the airports.

Would I go back again? Hell yeah, planning on going next year!.
Crowd was awesome, the best bit was after the race and we all ruched onto the track. Awesome experience.

Great post OP. I really enjoyed Zouk, but it´s better to go there with girls than without.
As you mentioned, malay guys protect their women and since Zouk has a definitely rich crowd, it´s not like people are gonna get impressed over the fact that you´re a foreigner. I was there during July last year, and it was plenty of Europeans.

KL is such a big city so meeting girls for a drink in a bar area worked really well for us. Also, Wednesday aka ladies night is amazing.

I would recommend going for the upperclass girls who has studied/studies in Australia and are back in KL. They are more open to quick bangs, their english is great and they are fun to party with.

Regarding Langkawi, its absolutely shit for game. You can read about in in the last post in the "Malaysia" thread.

No it isn't. I was there a few weeks ago and did this twice on two separate nights with two separate muslim girls. Both from Tinder, one was a local girl (massive pot head, she wanted to smoke weed in my hotel room but I told her no) and the other was a Saudi-Bangladeshi student. I walked passed Beach Club on my last night in KL and thought it looked like a shit hole so didn't go in.

Never went to Zouk but passed in many times on my trips to Sepang.

I would recommend buying a sim card as soon as you can (they sell them before you collect your luggage) and booking an uber after you clear immigration. Uber to KLCC will cost you around 75RM.


KLCC has great inexpensive hotels and is well connected to other parts of the city via the trains and sky walkways. Uber anywhere doesn't cost much.

Went to KL a couple years ago and didn't like it.

Too many sketchy Malays and Indians, shitty service attitude, kind of a run down place for the most part, muslim country and therefore security threats at venues serving alcohol (tight security), nothing to do really, girls largely ugly and entertainment of low quality.

Thailand and Singapore are much better choices.

I guess I should have clarified that I think it's muslims with Malaysian passports that are hard to bang in hotels due to ID checking by staff, which is why I would think airbnb might be a better option. Did your hotel not give a shit?

Were the rest of your lays Chinese or Indian Malaysians?

To be honest, I've mostly stuck w/ Chinese Malays and tourists to avoid sharia law.
But if hotels allow local muslims to enter the room w/ me, perhaps I need to expand my horizons.

I'm actually going there again this Christmas, so any additional info on banging muslim malays would be very appreciated!

Local call was Malay with Malay passport and Saudi-Bangladeshi was born in SA to Bangladeshi parents, I think she posses a Bangladeshi passport only despite having never lived there. Malay had studied in Europe and from her own words has had many sexual relations so I knew she was at least suggestible and Saudi mentioned she has an account on Kink so again knew she was suggestible. My main tip would be make sure they don't have pictures in Hijab and dress fairly westernised. They will be most open to talking about sex. Both of those we had exchanged nude pictures/videos before meeting up.

You are Korean? If so you should clean up with Chinese girls. One of the ones I saw said she wanted to move to Korea and feels pride when someone mistakes her for Korean.

Rest were all Chinese. Didn't find many Indians on tinder and those I did I couldn't get them on WhatsApp.

Majority of my WhatsApp connections fizzled out but the ones I did see I'd been in regular messaging with. I'd highly recommend Tinder Gold for travelling. Tinder Plus only if Gold is not available.

My hotel never checked ID. They hired a guy on the door to stand opening the door all day to anyone going into the lobby and from there I just walk to the elevator. Lobby is big enough that they aren't going to worry or even notice if a girl walks upstairs with you. I've never used AirBnb. Only time I add this ID every guests issue was in Thailand. I did stay in KLCC so that might have been why there were more relaxed with ID. Also my room was a room for two and included breakfast for two. Which I took to mean that I was free to have a different guest each night if I so wished. I'd assume hotel prices would be higher at Christmas and new years.

For Tinder I'd use an opener something along the lines of "Hey I'm in KL during Christmas and New Years where is the coolest place to see the New Years fireworks?" or some other variation. Some would ignore me and other would respond, ones who respond I'd continue with a conversation before offering my WhatsApp handle and go on from there. I spoke near daily to all the girls, some of them I still do. Although not Malay or SA girl.

Get talking early, build up comfort and strike when guards are down. All girls I kissed were always in my hotel room. I assume that the publicity that kissing in public would bring would be a huge turn off for the girls.

I could not dig KL. The vibe is just... off. I'm not sure what drives that but it just does not have the raw excitement of developing nations or the banging social scenes of developed wealthy countries.

Like you said, it feels run down. Not enough growth to be exciting, and not enough development to be modern and liberal.

It's not even particularly strict, people do go out and drink and party etc, even those who 'shouldn't'. But it's just... meh.

Yeah, I'm Korean and have found it is a plus with the local Chinese there.
I will try and see if I can get my muslim malaysian flag this Christmas!
I think I saw that most the muslim malaysians were wearing hijabs in their pictures, so I just swiped left on them.
Do you think those are worth a shot? Or should I stick to the non-hijab ones?

Hi gentlemen, I recently took a trip to KL for 4 days 3 nights and this is my experience.

Stats:
5 dates
3 bangs
1 BJ

I took the bus from Singapore up to Malaysia. To those who are planning their holidays in SEA are travelling between the two countries, I recommend the bus routes for those who like to save a few buck but would still like to travel in relative comfort. If you're travelling from Singapore, I recommend crossing the border over to Johor first. There's a bus you can take from Singapore for about a dollar that would take you to the central bus terminal in Malaysia called Larkin. In Singapore, you pay 40 SGD for the ride up to KL. Crossing over to Johor first and then taking the bus cost you RM40, which is 1/3 the price if you had taken the bus in Singapore.

From the southernmost state of Johor, its about a 4 hour bus ride up to KL. RM40 gets you a spacious seat and if you're travelling non peak periods, the bus wouldn't be full. Once the bus starts moving, you can move yourself to the 'better' seats if they're not occupied.

I arrived in KL at TBS or Terminal Besepadu Selatan which is the main bus terminal for KL. I used mainly Grab and Uber to get around, cost me about RM18 to get to my accommodation.

I would seriously recommend my accommodation to anyone who comes to KL. Its 5-10mins from the city center as well as the party spots but not right smack in so it isnt too noisy. It has a modern interior with a suite-ish feel to it. Theres a rooftop terrace with an infinity pool with a decent view of KL. All of that for RM60 a month or about SGD20 or USD15. An insanely low price to live like a king.

Most of my lays came from Tinder that I pipelined earlier in advance thanks to the advice given by many on the forum to prepare ahead.

I did some daygame but I was mainly there to relax so I spent most of my times either on dates or chilling at the infinity pool at my condo.

KL is a decent city for a weekend. Live in a nice pad, get a girl around for a few days and explore the city for some good fusion cuisine.

Let me know if anyone of you need more information on KL or would like the Airbnb address of my apartment. Cheers!

To be really honest, it depended on the quality of the girl and how flirty the setting of the text. I have a fixed template that I just fire out to the chicks I matched and based on how sexual and keen their replies are, I judge if its good to go for SNL. Also, if shes an 8, I would definitely tune my replies more carefully. Game is always much more effective when you're face to face with the girl so if shes an 8 and she isn't exactly the most eager to jump on me, I tone down my advances until I get her out. Afterwhich, I run standard SNL game. For a 5 or 6, I dont even bother, I sexualize heavily and eliminate the ones who are not down and keep the rest as a back up.

LMR also depends on how sexualized you already were prior to bouncing the girl back to your apartment. If she was already super horny, LMR is lower in any country.

For a short trip, the golden ratio is horniness: attractiveness and you adjust the numbers based on what you're comfortable with. Spending multiple dates or even hours to game a top tier girl or spending lesser time and getting more out of multiple less attractive girls is dependent on the individual's preference.

If I reply faster it probably feels to needy.
If I put on the vibe "I don't like wasting my time chatting on Tinder, so let's have a video call and set up a date if we get along" too early, they get scared, stop answering etc.
If I turn on that vibe too late and just go along chatting, the conversations die out slowly (or sometimes fast).

What are the key points to convert a match into a date ASAP here in KL? Is anyone in the city right now?

I'd like to get my mind free from tinder and use it only on certain productive times, so I can have productive and focused days without tinder fogging my mind, but that seems impossible here.

Normally I always take the same amount of time to reply, that the girl took to reply before, to not seem needy. If I use this strategy here, there is nearly never a real conversation going on, because they always take too much time to reply.

In Jakarta I would use Tinder in the evening, have a short chat, convert it into a video call and then into a date. Here that doesn't work at all and the "peak" hour seems way too late for my taste. I like to sleep early and get up early.

I personally find it odd when people want to video chat so that may be it. If we're in the same city I feel like we may as well just grab a beer or coffee. Sometimes it's even helped for me to say that the first meeting isn't a date, we're just grabbing a drink to chat & see if we get along.

Pro tip on buying beer in KL - pick it up from Bottlez Houz in Bukit Bintang. They'll get stuff in from random places, lots of Korean beers usually. They'll do a 3 or 4 for 1 which is nuts. Definitely some weird thing going on there with those specials but, hey, I'm not complaining.

I guess he's using the video chat mostly to validate the tinder pictures and make sure the girl is worth a date?! However, I am also not a fan of any kind of online chatting and that includes video chatting.

From my experience the whole social life in Malaysia is kind of shifted into the night (as it often is in these hot/humid countries). That's an issue for your personal sleep rythm indeed. I also like the "I don't like wasting my time chatting on Tinder" vibe and if they won't give me their number within a reasonable amount of time I'll just next them. Chances are they are not so interested after all and I feel like it's not worth it to put in effort into tinder chats at all.

what did you expect ? You show up in a super conservative muslim country and expect easy bangs through tinder? I had the worst experience in tinder out of all SEA COUNTRIES back in 2014! There is a reason why nobody mention malaysia/KL as a good pick up location. Last time i checked malaysia is a developed country with a gdp/capita well over 20k$/year. This is no philippines or indonesia and girls are not desperate. Legally muslim women cannot have premarital sex.
What do you end up with? Malay-chinese: Those are notoriously known for sticking to their own and expect a lot of cockblocking if you go to nightclubs.

The video call is to validate their pictures, see if they have odd attitudes, behavior etc. and also for them to get more comfortable with me and making me feel less like a stranger to them. All this in a very short period of time compared to texting. As soon as we have a video call, it's always an advantage for me as long as the girl is "normal". It mostly raises my attraction. Fully checking out the girl the first time on a date can be a huge waste of time, if she doesn't tick the boxes. Time I could have spent dating a girl that fits better.

I'm not talking about easy bangs, I'm talking about converting the tinder matches into dates. I know Kuala Lumpur and the chances of easy hook ups compared to neighboring countries. I already dated girls here and I also had bangs. I stay here, because I really like the city for many other reasons than easy hook ups and it's not impossible to have a more or less satisfying sex life here.

My brother lived in KL a few years ago so I would normally visit once a month. His Tinder strategy was the date route and a real tight radius around KLCC. As I would only be there Friday and Saturday night. I would just mass message that Friday day our evening bar location that night and say come join, or mass invite to the condo pool if Saturday. Zero success with Saturday strategy. But more often than not the Friday messages they would be going the same or similar bar crawl route and bump into a few most of the time.
