Puerto Rico for 2 weeks.
So i need some advise here fellas.

Me and a friend are suppose to go to Costa Rica for 2 weeks at the end of this month. Only problem is it will be the rainy season in Costa Rica with potential for it to rain everyday we are down there. Im starting to have some concerns, and just decided to look for similar options and thought of Puerto Rico.

So can anyone that is familar with PR tell me if there is a combination of nice beaches, surf spots, and good nightlife. Also how are the ladies in Puerto Rico? How approachable are they for 2 good looking mid 20's americans?

Any and all advise or suggestions will be much appreciated!

RE: Puerto Rico for 2 weeks.
I have been to puerto Rico like 3 times and didn't even got laid once. Puerto Ricans from the island are a completely different animal from the Puerto Ricans from NY or the continental US who you don't even need Game to bang. I only stayed in San Juan so your millage might vary somewhere else. I met a Puerto Rican cat in Buenos Aires who told me that getting pussy in Argentina was way easier than back at home. and we all know how tough Argentinians can be. Another reason why I think why puerto Rico might be a tough place is because I have never met a Puerto Rican guy who didn't have tight crips natural game. The good thing about Puerto Rico is that the guys are so friendly that it's almost to the point of homo eroticism, you can leverage that friendliness into getting them to introduced you their hot friends. I would still go, if you dont like it the Dominican Republic is just next door.

RE: Puerto Rico for 2 weeks.
Puerto Rican women are hit or miss. I like to call them the "fake conservatives". You won't get easily laid in Puerto Rico if you are gringo, women don't care - they have blue US passports - all of them! They do go for black men of any country really fast I've noticed.

To game Puerto Rican women, you have to play the cocky funny role, and immediately DHV as in your job and social status. The easiest lays are the hood-rats, and the more educated she is, the tougher she is to crack as tehy like to dominate and be in control aka alpha females.

The easiest Puerto Rican women are form New York - those are DTF anytime!

I'd skip Puerto Rico personally, and try places like Panama and central America as alternatives.

PR is one of my favorite places to travel. The women there love Polynesian men. Aggressive direct game works best on them.

I gotta wonder what you're gonna do there for 2 weeks? It's a small place.

Aloha!

RE: Puerto Rico for 2 weeks.
PR is nice but you are going at the absolutely worst time to go....It will be hurricane season and they all run right through or nearby PR. But hey you will have good surf!!!

PR-I have aunt's, gf's, friends, and one of my best friends wife is Rican. Good people. Like brasilians they come in all colors from european to mullatta to african only diff is they speak spanish/english...and they do salsa instead of samba..

US PR population-hit NY/NJ, Chicago has a huge pop, Orlando, South Florida and large scale military bases..

Currency - US dollars are good....prices are expensive...expect 10 bucks for a beer...easily..

Travel Docs- just picture I.D. for u.s. citizens

Drug game - don't know, i'm a drug free bro. I would assume everything is possible..

Crime- crime is out of control right now due to the drug game/gangs(latin kings). Gov't has brought in the police/military to help curb it. The drug dealers have moved into the jungles so expect checkpts on country roads...

Just do your best to fit in...but do not sleep you can get your ass robbed and killed....never be out walking by yourself late at night on dark streets...

Beaches-I do not surf but the island is full of beautiful beaches..you might wanna ask a local who could give better info than me...I imagine the best surf spots would be on the north end of island where the currents close to the ocean pass through...

Hotels - a full range of Hotels from low end to high end...just depends on your budget..honestly I would try and rent someone's apt or house...I would not do a hotel...

Sports - Basketball and Baseball are big...Boxing is HUGE!! Do not even bother going to the island if you don't know who Roberto Clemente is because he is god to Puerto Ricans...know the sports lingo

Geography - PR has it all from white sandy beaches with caribbean blue water, mountains, tropical rainforest...it's amazing

Food-it's goat, chicken, pig, fish, beans and rice man and plantains.....try and hit up a food vendor near the beaches...fish will be fresh.. Also pr's like to fry food in oil which I hate so just a heads up if you have heart disease eating in PR will probably kill you

Music- reggaeton is king amongst the young...learn to love it or leave pr women alone..salsa, jazz-afro influenced, and most definitely hip-hop...

Women- I love PR chix's...when they work out they can give a brasilian/columbian a run for the money but they tend not to exercise on the regular and get sloppy when they get older...know how to dance to salsa/reggaeton/hip-hop or don't waste your time..know a little spanish..You will have mainland chixs cruising the land with island chixs...Mainland chix are standard game...Island chixs you have to build a relationship and get to know. Family is important like all latin countries so impress mom if you go by the house...

Diseases - yep, Defcon 5 so go wrapped or die. Aids is a issue..alot of nasty cats from NY bringing their crap.. Also Dengue fever is a problem..be careful..

Strip clubs-these venues change all the time but they were a waste of time/money...chixs only went topless and charged like 30-40 bucks for a grind...I wanted to get soggy and the bitch only gave me a stiffy... Sad

Religions - catholic but you do have Santeria so don't be surprised to see dead goats on the beach...also jewish and muslim pr's.....

True Story I swear: allegedly the Bacardi family had barrels-rum out in a barn, and overhead were bats sleeping. The family took this as a sign of good luck and thus the reason for the bacardi bat insignia...also Bacardi started in Cuba until Fidel kicked his ass out.....Hit the production facility tour...it's good stuff..

Culture-Nightlife: San Juan is amazing especially the old sections. You will see buildings that are 200-400 years old on cobble streets. Old spanish forts..it's crazy...

Nightlife - some spots...tons of places to go especially pubs... (Check out Calle Forteleza or Old Sebastian)...
-Hit Old San Juan and check out the million bars and pubs. Casual dress game
-Hit Hotels - they will hold the casino's and upscale nightclubs. Dress game is recommended and sometimes mandatory..

1.Brava-http://www.bravapr.com/ - upscale joint for the crowd 2 be seen...tons of hot chica's....stunning honey's....
2.Water/Beach club - it's a hotel joint..upscale..very upscale -
3.Clublazer-http://www.clublazer.com/ - more of the 20 something/college crowd...
4.Club Flow - reggaeton crowd..you will notice the reggaeton crowd has similar vibe to hip hop crowds..so if this threatens you keep your ass at home with the nintendo...if you don't know who Daddy Yankee is keep your ass at home with the nintendo...
5.Nuyorican Cafe - good music...if you like it live...very relaxing environment-locals hang here
5. Basiliko - old san juan joint...nice place to chat up honey's..
6.Koko-located in EL San Juan Hotel--nice upscale lounge...

Other places LaConcha-upscale hotel lounge and N lounge inside the Normandie..I could write this list for evar...people put bars up all over...

Advice- PR is a hub for the cruise industry so expect to see a ton of pasty americans/euro's on cruises, especially in san juan during the day...stay away from those clowns and try and hang out with the locals.

RE: Puerto Rico for 2 weeks.
I would hit up PR.

The good surf is on the westside from what I know, good nightlife is in San Juan. El San Juan Hotel and Casino I think has a good nightlife scene and the places around there.

Great write up CC...I was last there for one week for New Years a few years back and had a great time (brought sand to the beach). We rented a condo in Old San Juan(Highly Recommended over Isle Verde). If your there for two weeks try to check out Culebra and/or Vieques off the East Coast. Its about a one hour ferry ride and the beacheas are much nicer IMO. I camped out in Culebra for a few days and it was magical...stars were literally sitting right on top of us. The ferry was kind of rough but it was all worth it once we arrived. Also check the Biomulescent Bay for Kayaking in Fajardo and The El Yunque Rain Forest. Also I went another time with my boys (cats didnt have passports to hit the DR so PR was the only option for Labor Day one year) but half of us didnt get laid (by locals...alot of mainland american tourists to be had) and it was way harder In PR by far to pull chicks. Have fun!
