Sounds like his overall point is getting away from game techniques and just learning how to be more of a man with natural charisma and a life. That's how I took it.

My rationale is based on a theory that "game" is basically a set of rules one needs to follow to get laid. People learn those rules, and play by them. They're getting chicks.

Anyone who has ever been in an LTR can confirm that it is simply impossible to follow checklists all the time, and most secrets are out quite fast. This is why I'm always saying using game will give you a lot of easy lays, but it won't help you in LTR.

Now what if the dude didn't play any games, and just showed his true control freak nature? Indeed, he'd probably get significantly less girls. But there is someone for everyone, and those he'd get would be attracted to his control freak nature, or at least accept it. In this case he doesn't need to play anything, and at least he has a chance to turn it into LTR.

Excellent point, being in a relationship is one of the few areas in life where your weaknesses as a person will get exposed pronto. If there is one thing I like about LTRs, it is the fact the cracks in my armor are exposed a lot quicker with someone there who is in a relationship with me. It gives me the opportunity to see them and work on them once they are exposed.

Fair question. If you're not interested in a LTR, then there seems to be no other reason for you to get out of "the game".
However, in this case you might want to assess your long-term plans. Are you still going to spend majority of your time to game chicks when you're 50? Will it still be a priority?

I wrote the article. It has nothing to do with not hitting on girls anymore. It has everything to do with guys who get so clogged up with studying theory and over-analizing everything that they don't even know what to do. It's a way for guys to undo their analysis-paralysis, which has become too common in the PUA community.

The comment about LTR's is interesting. I've found that there are a number of qualities that make you good at pick up that will hurt you in an LTR, as well as a number of traits that make you a good boyfriend that will hurt you in pick up.

But I would say, in general, most things that make you good at picking up girls (dominance, confidence, empathizing, humor, flirting) will make any serious relationship that much better. Pick up has definitely made my relationships much, much better.

If those things are integral part of your character, then yes.
But if those things are NOT part of your character and you just pretend having them (which is part of game) - then no.
