Did you read the comments? It's pretty funny that the guy who started his comment with "I married my wife when she was fat" is named Michael Knight.

Another commenter, JosiahM, insinuates that men who prefer thin women are pedophiles, which I'm guessing will be a new meme coming soon to a feminist blog near you!

My neighbor is a very successful surgeon married to a morbidly obese woman. He's reasonably good looking and very fit and active. I see her struggling to lift herself in and out of the minivan. She always is out of breath. When they got married she wasn't skinny but well within the normal BMI range. She just ballooned the past few years.

It must be so humiliating for him to be seen with her. This is a fit town where many women keep in shape through yoga, Pilates and gym membership. She sticks out like a sore thumb.

I hope for his sake he's banging some hot nurses on the side!

My last legit LTR and I agreed that if we were ever to get hypothetically married (and we wouldn't have), something about gaining weight and neglecting your appearance generally would be in the vows.

I think our line was "in sickness, but not fatness."
