Langley Park is predominantely Hispanic, moreso than anywhere else in the D.C. area or in the State of Maryland. I have posted about in the past. It can be a goldmine for maybe 1-5% of guys, me being one of them. Because of my busy schedule, I haven't been able to make good use of it for quite some time.

I hit the gas on the Caddy and beelined to a hotel. I even ran a red light and got one of those camera tickets. Ha.

I didn't want her to change her mind.

Should have married that one.

Ended up dumping me for her old boyfriend.

I was too stupid to even care at the time.

Girls like that don't come around too often.

So, bottom line, you can make it happen in DC.

This post really got me thinking. I think I might know the girl you're talking about, although I haven't seen or talked to her in five and a half or six years. She's from Nicaragua and definitely has African blood, but has lived in or around Langley Park for quite some time. She fits your description to a T. I tried to at least get her number before and she told me that she was married. No attitude whatsoever. She had an English first name, although I can't remember what it was. I don't know anything about her having done modeling in Miami. I would say she is definitely top, top tier for the D.C. area, but if I saw her in Southern California, Miami, or Buenos Aires, I may not even notice her. Girls like that are not a "one-off" in this area, but I really don't see them very often. The extremely rare times that I do see them, I'm not expecting it and am not as focused and alert as I am when I am in a better environment.

This girl would have stood out in Southern California for sure. She was that fly.

In Miami, she would have stood out too, but their would be another 2-3 girl similar in a 5 block radius at any given time.

Elabayarde - I like your post. The Park does have sick talent but it's super pretentious. I think it's cool for social circle game vs. pickup. The music is too loud for convo but sometimes you'll find a straggler. People in there don't even dance. They just like to post up with their drink and front like they don't notice anyone. The dress code is no joke as well. You can roll up in a custom suit and still feel like a bum because everyone in there is seriously on point with their wardrobe game.

Opera which is right around the corner is a cool venue.

A few points on park... I have nailed many girls from there.. ONS.

Its high end because you get alot of athletes and celebs there. ALOT!!
But yes very superficial. Just play the game.

Happy Hour!!!!, girls will actually approach sometimes. VEry cool and laid back environment. Awesome food, and reasonable prices. Girls are there to talk.

Onetime I actually showed up there after a wedding, with a Tux on. Tie half off... ect

I got so much play it was crazy....Also I find that, when the club closes is the best time to go for SNL(There). A few times, I have walked by during closing and got a SNL. These types feel they have a reputation to keep.... so when they are outside without the brightlights they seem alittle more...swoopable.

THe right Game from my experience there is kinda the fast talking type.. game. But NOT the street style game. Everyones pretty well, educated... so a sophisticated/educated/womanizer was my successful style there. I had some pretty redic lines and game there..... and gotten success. Definitely recommend.

the problem is....I rode that place to the wheels fell off... and started to become a regular, which isnt good for my style in my opinion.

Note: There are a good number of Latinas that go. If you approach in spanish...it wins BIG!!! They just wouldnt really expect it there... ok im done.

No.. We are talking about "The Park on 14th avenue" its a classy hip-hop spot. You dont get much hood trash there. They generally dont even know it exist.(which I thought was wierd)

Always cracks me up reading these DC threads. Other than G (who apparently doesn't even live here) they always sound like they are written by guys living in West Falls Church or some Maryland suburb.

Not to say that you can't live in those places and know whats going on. VK and Roosh always seemed to have a good idea of how the bar and club scene broke down around the DMV.

Like all cities the nightlife is going to be very segmented based on what you are looking for and what suits your lifestyle and vibe.

DC doesn't have a magic pussy paradise you can just roll into and expect everything to click. Like every city it's got it's quirk and nuances. Same way you can't just show up in front of the Staples Center in California and wonder where the fuck all the girls are.

Why is it funny? Are you "from DC"? Share the knowledge.

A lot of what is put up here is generic. Why? Probably intentional because this DC thread has 2,600 views in 2 weeks and 100 posts from MAYBE 30 dudes. So about 1-3% of the guys reading this thread are actually contributing. I don't think anyone has a problem talking about well known places, but feel free to show us what you think is really up in DC. Please do.

I may very well hear crickets in response to this post, but has anyone spent any time at the bar in Timpano on Route 355 in Rockville? Has anyone had any success there? Can you eat at the bar there? I have been there twice to eat, both times with a big group, but have never spent any time at the bar. I like the vibe and the set-up of the place. The steaks are pretty good, but not great. I wouldn't touch the "pasta" with a ten-foot pole. If I wanted to eat substandard pasta, I would just make a bee line for The Olive Garden, where it's much cheaper.

Wow. I think I actually know that place.

I have never been, but I think it was a "cigar bar" as well, when that was all the rage before those were stamped out by the oppressive forces of the Police State in America.

It is actually kind of funny to think about right? Someone opening a cigar bar to cater to biz professionals in a pseudo-contrived Italian restaurant setting?

It is hard to believe we have actually gone downhill from that point.

Yeah. It's got the highest percentage of Salvadoreans than any other place in the US. That area has seen waves of immigration from all over the world.

The Dominican artist Fuego grew up there.

I can answer my own question now. The steaks at Timpano are really good, possibly the best in the area. As far as trying to meet girls there, it really couldn't be any worse. A bunch of old people sitting around the bar. All joking aside, TGI Fridays, which is located in the same plaza as Timpano is much better for meeting girls.
