I've never understood this.

I've always put the toilet seat down. Mostly because of sanitary reasons (I don't want fecal matter all over the bathroom).

Not in New York, hermano. Last time I was there, I think they managed to fit the living room, bathroom, commode and kitchen all in one space. I had to duck just to brush my teeth. And yet, they still have the gall to charge $1500 per month for rent.

There's nothing like having private bathrooms. I'm in mine now smoking and drinking coffee while my kid is getting ready for school in the other one. Also at work I have a private bathroom in my office that I only let people I really like use.

Make money to afford this it's worth it.

I think it's probably good excercise for them to pee while squatting. Also, sometimes it's harder to pee sitting.

I threw a party the other weekend at my place and some girl puked on the lid of the toilet, some other broad must have put it down. If the lid would have been up the problem would have been avoided.

Foolsgold, I think if the woman is leaving the seat down she's not a keeper.

Think about what could be implied about a girl who goes out if her way to put the seat up for you. Think about what says about your power over her.

The fact that girls don't do it, or even worse, complain that you don't put the toilet seat down is very telling I think

I think its more telling about you over thinking this than a what a woman actually does.

From what I've read in your posts soup you like to impose yourself on women but may not necessarily do it in a overly physical way, hence why you question the toilet seat problem as a shit test she may or may not be doing to you, sort of like a "hah, fuck you I am messing up your shit" and it irritates you, hence this thread.

I say if a woman wants to undermine you there are many more subtle ways she can do it, like having sex with other men you dont know about and then coming over to yours for sloppy seconds.

I just see the toilet seat thing as a non-issue, but if she was shit testing me via that method then I will use my own initiative to get back at her in an overt manner.

Slip small, non lethal fire crackers under the toilet seat and when she sits her ass on the seat she will probably shit herself.

You've maintained frame, your position as the man of the house and you made her subdued...or never to see you again but hey you are never short of new women so I dont see an issue.

This only applies if you have a regular though, I dont see how a one-off could make an effort to piss you off over this unless she did an upper-decker in your toilet.

When I was in high school, i had a biology teacher go to the bathroom and flush the toilet after she took a number 2. She then took a culture of a toothbrush she had left out nearby and let that go for a few weeks.

When we came back, the nasty nasty stuff that gets sent up into the air when you flush made for one disgusting petri dish.

Word to the wise, always put the seat AND the lid down when you flush. Keep the nasty poor water vapor from landing on everything in the bathroom.

It's one thing for a woman to regularly complain, which I agree is a valid reason to get annoyed and give her the boot.

But a woman taking the initiative to put it up?

You're over-analyzing that one, most people don't think about this stuff in the first place, and if asked, it would make sense for them to leave it down since that is the "default position" and better for cleanliness.

Let's not stretch too hard to add something to the list of IOI's or Red Flags.
