I can't think of any SNL's or first date lays I've had that have involved food before sex. Burping and digesting during sex is not romantic. Buying a woman dinner who you haven't slept with is not romantic; it's a job interview. Meet up after dinner at 9 bounce at 10 or 11 and you're good. If she demanded food I would say sure order whatever you want and I'll get the next round of drinks, to make the point.

It seems trivial, but it seems to be something we all have a strong opinion about.

If a girl's asking you for food on a 1st drinks date, it looks bad on her. Triangulating from what older members have said and my own experience with young girls, this appetizers on drink dates thing seem to be a recent phenomenon, amongst women in their late 20's and upwards. Leaving aside that her eating will make her less likely to fuck you, that knowledge alone should be enough to give the "Team Appetizers" camp second thoughts.

Good point. Actually I don't recommend drinking without eating anything, if I am going to drink then I need to make sure I am going to eat something, if I am with a woman, then I will get some food for both of us.

But my typical date hardly ever involves going out to a bar for drinks. When I buy drinks for a girl that I just met, I hardly ever get the bang unless she is at my crib.

Reason why I usually just invite them straight to my crib, or if I want to do a beta date, I buy ice creams for both us (less than 10 dollars) and next date I go for the bang.

No Appetizer and no drinks, I am in the straight to the crib team.

Obviously, our opinion on this is based on our past experience with girls and food. Our financial mindset also shapes our opinion of this. And, I think location is a huge factor.

Guys that have paid for a lot of food and drink without getting much sex in return will likely have a negative opinion about buying girls food. Especially, if it is a strategy that has not worked for them in the past.

Wealthy guys without game often get used by girls. Girls take advantage of them run up large bar tabs and food bills.

The "Hollywood" girls are often after free food. The small town girl is often much more appreciative and more likely to bond with you over the shared meal.

Our gaming/sexual history also plays a part in our perspective. If you have fed and fucked girls in the past, you will probably not have much problem introducing a little food. If you have paid for many meals and not gotten much sex for it, you will probably be less likely support the idea of getting food.

After an hour or so I invited her back to my place for dinner.

I had a large pot of soup that I just made.

We enjoyed the soup together and we really bonded over the experience of eating together.

Not giving her some soup would have been a mistake.

My soup helped me create an emotional bond with her.

Gio, the scenario most guys are against here is very different, though. Cooking for/with a girl at your place is one of the best things a guy can do to get laid. I can't remember one time cooking at my place with a girl didn't get me laid or at least got me a BJ. The problem is getting to that point instead of sitting at a bar with some bitch who uses you to pay for her drinks and food knowing that she will never sleep with you.

Between first-hand and others experience - I do not give them opportunities to pay for their night out on my dime. If she sticks around after the first night/bang then ill relent and pay for a breakfast otherwise more often than not buying dinner and throwing money around (even if a little) sets the tone that its what is expected rather than appreciating it for what it is.

Unless you're meeting up with girls too early in the evening, she'll have already have eaten dinner at home. No skinny bitch is getting that hungry that quickly. Besides, girls are always self-conscious about eating in front of men, they don't want to look "gross" eating or look bloated, hell they're already worried enough about the later if you're drinking beer. EVERY time we go clubbing my chick friends have a bitch about how they don't want to look bloated in their dresses from drinking, even though it's mainly in their heads. Even dime piece girls are very self-conscious when they're "out" or around guys they consider attractive especially on the 1st date. If she's the one bringing food up, on a drinks date, that should be a huge red flag. Gio's story is a completely different scenario all together.

I think it's trivial and this is why - You can sense when someone is trying to weasel something out of you. If something feels off about the interaction when food gets brought up it probably is.

I've met girls who live alone (all likelyhood stoked fridge), I've met girls with roomates. I think it's hard to stay the "type" they are.

Don't pick up a girl with no car in the first place to begin with?

At a minimum I'll meet her halfway or near my logistics.

Plenty of girls I've banged I've met online and banged the first time or the second time after. I don't deal with girls who don't have a car UNLESS I know for sure she's DTF.

If she drops that on me, I simply tell her I just ate, and drive to the venue.

I should've been more specific, what I'm talking about caters towards ONLINE dating, not day/night gaming.

Hence why I'm not gonna go get some girl I've never met before. If it's a girl I met already and pulled a number from, that's a different story.
