Former Memphis star Roburt Sallie has reportedly been cut in Spain for taking the male enlargement pill “ExtenZe” that increases penis size.

According to the website TUBasket.com, Sallie was released by the Spanish club C.B. Tarragona after admitting to taking the prescription drug, which apparently is a problem because it increases testosterone. Sallie played for Memphis for two seasons and averaged 10.5 PPG in his final campaign during the 2009-10 campaign.

It's not strange actually. Any number of athletes in sports worldwide test positive for taking supplements or other things that have banned substances in them. Spiked testosterone is one of the major markers in male athletes that test positive. The trick is figuring out why. When cyclist Floyd Landis got busted for elevated testosterone levels after his Tour de France win, he claimed the "Jack Daniels" defense. Apparently, alcohol consumption can cause testosterone levels to spike. Unfortunately, they didn't buy the excuse. Another winner, Alberto Contador, was just suspended for two years after testing positive after HIS Tour win a couple of years ago. He tested positive for Clembuterol, which is a drug given to cattle to increase meat production. He claimed he ingested it by eating contaminated beef. They didn't buy that either. Athletes that know they're going to be tested for PEDs simply can't bullshit with what they put in their bodies. They don't attempt to discern your intent when they find something in your body. They act on the assumption that you're cheating.
