I could speculate that the European royalty went over and got too much love from the models, after all how many girls want to be a princess ? If these guys were working class manly men who abided by certain rules about how things are done none of this would have hit the news.

When rich people fight they fight with the power of the law (ie. they have other people fight for them).

Anyway, this is all great publicity for Hock and not so much for the Prince. Royalty usually tries to stay out of this sort of spotlight, but Hock could potentially capitalize on this infamy.
