fair enough, if thats the literal definition then he was white knighting, I always took it to mean going of your way to play the hero, in this instance I thought the dude was marking his territory, this is my space these girls are with me you want to disrespect me you need to step up and answer for it, so within my working definition it was more about himself than it was that the girls were there... i have a feeling this wouldve come to blows had the girls been there or not

No, I'm in agreement with you man. He wasn't white knighting because those girls were related to him: They were most likely his guests, sitting at his table because he invited them or brought them there.

I don't mean related as in blood-related, although that counts, but related as "having some sort of relation to you".


She friends with your friends? She has a relation to you.

She buy you a drink? She has a relation to you.

She your boss at work? She has a relation to you.


Random woman being catcalled by construction workers? She has no relation to you.

Random woman being beat up by her boyfriend? She has no relation to you.

Random woman getting mugged in the street? She has no relation to you.

Ha ha he sure wasn't white knighting. This guy made his living parading women in bikinis around in front of [email protected]ss dudes, so I can't buy the white knight defense. And they're talking about defending honor and stuff? Basically he's admitting "Yeah I smacked the s--- out of these guys because they were uppity, snooty Eurotwits."
