Has now been moved to a place called Grand Lake Alqueva ,Portugal
The biggest largest damn in europe.
Middle of nowhere near a village of about 350 people.

In the recent years is been on the crimean peninsula of ukraine.
It seemed like there was the obstacle of none of the guest knowing english and none of us really knowing russian along with the fact that racism might run through the area.

What do you guys think now?

Being in Portugal..Do you think the party will attract Spanish and Portuguese ravers? More of europe as a whole?

I would assume the average russian would need a little english making it all the way to spain/portugal *or spanish/portugues

For alot of us non russians/ukrainians it might be cheaper get her also

Personally speaking,now that it has moved I shall not bother going. The only reason I had it was on my 'things I might get round to doing' list was it's location and Ukrainian women. Now that it is in Portugal I don't see the attraction personally since I'm not big into the music. I'd rather go to Glasto and see some good guitar bands myself.

Thanks for sharing the info though,might have turned up in Kazantip otherwise wondering where everybody was.

I've been to it several times, but not in a few years. I won't be going back. I've heard from my Ukrainian and Russian friends it's starting to get overrun by European men anyhow. They started up a VIP section to cash in (called Mars) and other assorted BS.. it's getting too commercialized.

It's really hard to determine what the truth is sitting here on the internet across the planet...

I do remember this Roland Stach trying to rip off Europeans in the past few years by overcharging for accommodations, rooms, etc.. He was trying to run a travel booking site where he'd arrange the hotel and transport for a majorly high fee --- like a super rip off concierge service. He and the organizer of Kazantip got into a big feud. I can see this happening.

I guess if you really want to go, keep your eyes peeled...

Personally, if I head out there this Summer, I will be going to Odessa instead. I like nice accommodations, good restaurants, and not having to piss in port-a-potties.

Almost went last year, but it's a struggle to get train tickets in Ukraine in summertime. Also finding accommodation is a pain in the ass.

Will go to Odessa this summer instead, sure I can bang chicks just as easily there

Odessa is a dump in the winter. I may try again in the summer.

I live in Moscow so will likely hit KTip this summer out of curiosity. Not sure yet which weekend though. How many days are necessary and how do the logistics work out?

Both events will take place this year: the Ukrainian original human, and the west European one in Portugal.

I'll be in the Ukrainian one, if anyone wants to meet up. Would be interesting to see other players, as I believe my game has a whole lot to improve (not that I'm complaining, but still)

I went last year.

It was fun in a things-to-do-only-once-in-your-life kind of way. No plans to do it again.

Got the impression that the totally wild and fun days were behind it and that it was probably much better 'back in the day'.
