If you want to game French girls I would suggest Toulouse it is my favorite city and has amazing nightlife thanks to the huge amount of students (100,000). The girls there are the hottest I have seen in France thanks to the mixture of spanish and French appearances.

G, I second that, Chairman; a Toulouse datasheet would be great! I lived just north of the city (Castelnau d'Estretefonds) for a year back in 99/00, studied at lycee Toulouse Lautrec.

I have fond memories of partying around Place du Capitol, place st Georges and of course smoking hash near Pont Neuf near the Garonne river. Its a really nice city, also known as "the pink city" because of the bricks used in many buildings, they have an good rugby team and one of the local dishes "cassoulet" is really good too. Can't wait to go back to Toulouse someday.

Let's be honest, French Riveria has always been a playboys paradise. Yes, you can stay in a Ibis hotel but I would stay in one in Europe unless I was broke. I am sure the girls are delightful but they are there for a reason, to land a rich dude.

Nice is great, but lacks the pulse of Cannes and St Tropez.

Westwards from nice comes Antibes, Cap D'Antibes (great beaches), Juan Les Pins (lots of teenagers), Cannes, St Raphael (don't go there), Ste Maxime, Port Grimaud and St Tropez.

Antibes, the old town, is a beautiful town, not a lot of partying going on though.

JLP has a handful of clubs, filled with youngsters aged 16 - 22. This is where you do a classic park swoop as a teenager (bringing a girl with you, swooping her in the boule park before crashing at your villa)

Cannes is the 3rd party epicenter on the french riviera after St Tropez and Monaco. Le Baoli is a partially open-air club on the one end of La Croisette (beach street). Gotha club is the new monster after Palais closed. This is where you hit up a table in the triangle in front of the DJ booth and have gogo dancers dance around you. Expect the commercial DJ world to play there en rigeur every wednesday-saturday through summer. Hard to attract girls at the tables, since the area is closed off for VIPs, and your Pakistani and Saudi neighbors won't appreciate you swooping their girls - although you have more swagger and looks than they can pull. Doesn't matter if you pull out a couple of dom's and belvederes, you will never ever be able to battle these guys out when it comes to bottle service. People usually say that the 1st thing girls look at when meeting men is their shoes - in Cannes they look at what's on your table. This is a fact you have to accept.

Sidenote: Spend the day at a beach club drinking rosé and improving your tan. Wear only black or white shirts during night.

Cannes itself isn't a pretty town, its jsut the vacationing clientele that notches the general prettiness scale up, cars too of course. The lower registration number you see on a saudi or emirates car, the closer to the sheikhs the driver is. Don't park your rented porsche, G-wagon, daddy's bentley or Range Rover next to theirs. They will scratch yours up any given time of the day. These guys cannot drive their cars on the 1st gear, its only on the 2nd and up when skills apply, why I got a few scratches over the years from lambos and ferraris backing out. The only lucky strikes are when they clad their cats in folium (think matt black, neon green or gold). It usually takes the hit and your car will only get small bumps.

St Raphael is boring. More of a hub for trains and such. "Family area"

Ste Maxime is a great and charming town accross the bay from St Tropez. You'll definately want to have dinner there sometime and walk through the town. Nice market during weekends, perfect place for spotting girls and women - they usually do the groceries. Some clubs, nothing particular.

Port Grimaud is the venice of the french riviera. Beautiful. You'll end up here at least once every month from going home with a cougar whose family is out of town. Don't get worried about the channel systems, hop onto one of the vessels going for Ste Maxime or St Tropez and you won't have to worry about getting to the main road and fetching a cab (of which there are like 5 in the whole area) back home. Dine at Manava Plage.

St Tropez.
Where to start?

This is the golden goose - Aqua beach club - where you'll meet all the french 20-25 yo hotties you saw on that Paris weekend with your ex GF 6 years ago and thought - just like Peter Sarstedt sang: Where do you go to my lovely?. Many times they are with their crews, and french guys have good game, why you have to work very hard on your international gentleman appearance and stories in order to get their respect and admiration. Dont wear a shirt and no fake watches thanks, these cats will oust you in 5 seconds otherwise. Get a toywatch and ask them if they want to share your 5L rosé and kick back.

La Voile rouge is the notorious, cougar-filled hangout of the golden days. Don't try to be smart or a baller, you'll get shot down. Just enjoy your lunch and say "Bonne journée" to the cougars when you've given them your number and party location that night.

Nikki Beach. A must see for the lavishness, eurotrash and folle behaviour going on. It's fun. If your car is worth $150000 and up, park it on their lot, otherwise you'll just leave it on the dusty lot behind the club. Of course I get dropped off and picked up with a tender boat.

Usually our head count is 3-4 friends going in with the tender. The way back looks like this: One friend M.I.A. one friend meets up ex-gf who he hasn't seen since she permanently moved to Milan and 3-4 girls (two of them sisters) join us back to le bateau.

You'll want to spend your nights in Caves, VIP or Papagayo. I dont like Papagayo but objectively said - its a good venue. Caves is solid like the gold you'll see on every neck, vertu, ring and watch inside. Just spent 3 nights in Nice,awesome time. Loads of women in town for the Monaco grand prix. Friends lent me their boat and captain for the day,we motored up to Monaco but both the big harbour and little one was crammed with yachts and what can only be described as floating palaces so we could not get through them to get nearer to the action. One of Abrahmovich's boats was in the harbour complete with its chopper on the back,hell of a sight,the guy would get crazy amounts of ass if he was not shacked up with Dasha Zhukova. I told the skipper to take me over to Antibes instead,had a nice lunch over there but it was an older crowd so no action. Stopped off for a swim before powering back to Cap Ferrat in the rain as the sun set,I went to bed downstairs and emptied the fridge of its bolly. Was great stepping off the boat back in the harbour with the restaurants full of people checking me out as I stepped off. Was drunk and feeling green so headed back to the house for my bed. Love it down there,probably the greatest place in Europe. Next trip Abkhazia,going to be a hell of a contrast.

I did get the impression that a number of women were receptive to conversing and interacting if you put in some effort. I received some IOI and a lot of eye contact but never followed through, because as I said, I was with someone at the time.

Btw...when in France I never, ever assume anyone speaks english or open a conversation in english, always in my own brand of broken french...it makes all the difference in my opinion.

Better go to Saint-Tropez during summertime. I rent out my Villa there, on a weekly or monthly basis. Starts at 4000€ /week, 4 BR 4 bath. Good deal if you want to share the place with some friends, but yeah, theres also small hotels for 250€ per night but girls prefer villas

first night out in cannes on tuesday went down to checkout le palais, but it was closed and there is some new nightclub attached to the casino down there.

Met 4 norwegian girls who were kinda lost looking for the same thing

they had been in cannes for a week and said its pretty dead in june and I agree the whole place wasnt really pumping and the clubs were closed

we took them to this strip with bars that had some young people but I cant remember the location

the guy at the bar said gotha is the majoy nightclub in cannes but its only open on saturdays during june, and everyday in july.

logistics are really hard when you are in a foriegn place

was me and my mate with 4 girls but they didnt have phones or wifi so its impossible to hit them up to organise something later and they were leaving thursday

what do you guys do if you meet chicks in a foriegn place how can you bounce them to a different location when you know fuck all

Really avoid Toulon, it's a bit of a crappy military town.

If you stay there, a car is mandatory, public transportations are sh*t.

In the summer you can find a lot of swedish/Russian. But you have also girls from others parts of France (Paris number 1 of course). Not so much girls from the west (Bordeaux, Toulouse) as they go to Biarritz as you already know.

I would recommend you to stay in Cannes to be in the center of attention. You can try St tropez or St Tropez area too (Ramatuelle, Sainte Maxime) but it will be more expensive.

Also it will be interesting to see how you do during the Cannes movie festival

Ok my opinion based on my experiences:

Although there is a lot of money in the area these cities are also full of regular working types who are no more wealthy then you or I. There are places that these people hang out that cost no more than bars in our home towns. There are also lots of foreigners who visit who are not in any way wealthy.

So the Cote d'Azur has the moneyed types and the places that cater to them but that is the veneer that we notice because it is quite ostentatious. If you look beyond that you find that the place is no different than anywhere else ( this is especially true in Nice which is a large city ) and you just proceed as normal. Of course many women go to the area to snag a millionaire and so it's difficult to bang them because we don't have the Lambo parked outside of Jimmy'z but there are also thousands of regular women that are just looking for a guy and you don't need to play that game.

Monaco I find hard because I have never gotten beyond the veneer,that place really is crazy in terms of wealth displays. However I don't doubt with time you'd manage to find regular chicks there too.

Menton is a nice town to go to for lunch with a girl but not to party,it's full of old money not new so is laid back. The kind of place to find and marry an 80 year old multi millionaire but not her granddaughter.

I would say to surmise that Nice is LA and Monaco is Bel Air and Menton is Boca Raton ( if Boca Raton has not changed since I was there ).

Tourists and French chicks:

I'm no expert on French women having never had any heavy experience with them but I think you can get somewhere with them but you might need French skills. I don't speak more than 3 words unfortunately so I don't bother with them even when getting IOI's. That's stupid of me but it is what it is. I do have to say though that some of them are stunning with a lovely shade of brown to them. I have been infatuated with the girls on the Easyjet check in desks for years! Are there a lot of French tourists,I genuinely don't know. I know that the beaches are full of French women but are they local or on holiday,I could not say.

There are a shit load of tourists in the Summer however from all over the world.

So just my take here but if you wanted to target regular local French chicks I would say that Nice is your best bet,it's a large city with all that entails in terms of choice. However unless you moved there for a month or two it is my belief that you would be mostly hitting on tourists. Again to repeat I am no expert on local chicks so might be overplaying the difficulty. You might roll into town and have a French hottie on your arm in hours. Your skills may be much better than mine or simply more suited to the local scene.

I would remind you that I have not explore to the West of Nice. I don't know the scene in Cannes or St.Tropez etc. People who have might tell you to forget Nice and hit those towns.

So is it worth hitting the Cote d'Azur? I would say everyone should visit at least once,don't let the wealth put you off. You can do it without being rich. It's one of 'those' places to see in your life. However is it a great place to bang? I've never been anywhere else in France so tough to say. Put it this way if French girls were my prime motivation I would head somewhere else in France where I was on a more level playing field. If I wanted to chase tourists then yes the Cote d'Azur is good.

In the summer you can find a lot of swedish/Russian. But you have also girls from others parts of France (Paris number 1 of course). Not so much girls from the west (Bordeaux, Toulouse) as they go to Biarritz as you already know.

I would recommend you to stay in Cannes to be in the center of attention. You can try St tropez or St Tropez area too (Ramatuelle, Sainte Maxime) but it will be more expensive.

Also it will be interesting to see how you do during the Cannes movie festival

Is Cannes a high end grindfest? IE is it high end only, ie $40 bowls of minestrone soup kind of place?

Or is it a "real" place, where you can go highend if you want to and normal if you want to?

Cannes is way smaller than Nice, right?

Can you break down the 2 head to head a little bit?

Nice is bigger than Cannes but there are no clubs worth going to. It's cool to go have dinner on the Saleya court and then have a drink in one of the Pubs around, you will probably meet a lot of tourists and french girls too. But I know you like more of a high end venues that's why I recommend you Cannes over Nice.

In Cannes you have more clubs, essentially Baoli, Vip and le Palais in summer. Those clubs will be full of tourists and also French. I really don't know what I could recommend you in Nice except some pubs and some good restaurants.
You can also hit Monaco and St Tropez, Monaco is 40min away, St Tropez 1h without traffic.

Baoli was a goldmine last summer. Went there 3 times with some friends and we met 18y old girls from Paris, 20y model girl from Belgium and a lot of hot swedish girls. We also met some girls living in Cannes. So I would think you would kill in a place like that.

If I were you I would either stay in Cannes or the St Tropez Area and then alternate between Cannes, Monaco and St Tropez.

When are you going there?
I would highly recommend the period 14th July - 15th August.

Sorry forgot to answer these points.

Cannes is expensive but it's not that bad. Count 18eur for a drink in Baoli. 200-400eur for a bottle (Im not talking about expensive Champagne of course since you have bottles at +30k EUR).

It's almost the same prices everywhere.
Le Palais is a bit of a scam because they charge you 50 eur entrance since they invite famous artists. Not worth it really.

Note that the best thing to do to enter Baoli is to book a table for dinner and then you are already inside to party. You pass the bouncers easily like that. That's a good thing to do especially if you are 2-3 men without girls. Same tip for the VIP room in St trop.

You can go highend if you want, and you can go normal and have a drink in the "carré d'or" (golden corner) in Cannes (it's where a lot of bars are).
You also have two Pubs (Morrisson and Quays)
You have the lounge on top of the Casino of the Palais des festivals, and you can still have a drink in the luxury hotels (Martinez, Carlton) or in one of the Casinos.

G, don't try Menton, i live there and it's a shitty place to party , we don't have any decent bar.. I think Nice would be the best place to stay, lots of bars, great city, and you are near Cannes or Juan Les Pins.
