Testosterone-high and looking at yourself in the mirror after a heavy workout... pure bliss...

I'm a complete convert since I've started (seriously) working out -with the proper diet-, which is THE factor in doing this right. It is just a complete new way of interacting with your body, and that from someone who's being doing yoga for over 5 years... it is a very different rush from that, and both together (flexibility + muscles) is an awsome match. Add that to regular aerobic exercices (jogging or swimming) is the pathway to bliss...

I still have quite a way to go though...

I use to feel the same way UNTIL I started working out on a regular basis not to pull women but to get healthy and impress my self with what I could achieve. I get something like a runner's high after I workout, I feel fucking awesome after I workout hard. Then when you shower after you really worked up a sweat shit's so cash. Not to mention it makes you less of a pussy, even if you aren't doing it to build confidence it increases your testerone and makes you less shy and everything. It's like a magic potion to be honest.

I work out because I want to wake up in the morning.. look at the mirror while brushing my teeth or something and think "fuck yeah"..

Vain perhaps... but I think its what motivates alot of guys

speaking of which... Somebody here quoted sylvester stallone saying that working out destroys your body (well technically it does)..... but life expectancy-wise, is this true?

I've never understood people who do not work out or are not consistently active on some level. If I go a week without training, I feel like rat shit.

No, it's not a bad line of reasoning. It's a reasoning that is inquiring for reasons (pardon me for the repetition), like one of those questions that Socrates used to ask to his interlocuteurs who pretended to not understand when in fact the truth was in them all the time.

I'm of the opinion that you should do what works best for you for your intended plan. If you want to be independent, why not learn to cook? If you want to save money when your money crashes, why not learn to build your own computer? But if you want to fuck more and better girls, for what this forum is intended, why not become more attractive by working out? why not dress better? why not practice with more girls?

We have a lot of options to achieve what we want, but our time is limited so we have to be in the constant lookout for tools that replace others. Therefore if there is a better way to be more healthier and have a better physique than working out, I'll try it. But in the meantime, I'll choose the Iron.

You should workout with health maintenance being the #1 goal. You don't need rippling muscles for fighting because you should be able to avoid fighting anyway plus FIGHTING OVER WOMEN IS A CARDINAL SIN. Just lift to stay fit and you will be OK, but concentrate on making money. A well-kept fit body helps a lot with attracting women but you don't need rippling muscles when you have the finances to have her dreaming of a good lifestyle.

NOTE: You don't HAVE to give her that lifestyle...just let her dream about it enough until she drops those panties :-)

Fitness is HUGE when it comes to most if not all aspects of life.

You will gain

• discipline
• patience
• knowledge
• friendships
• pride
• strength
• women
• confidence
• courage
• health
• structure
• attractiveness
• goals
• accomplishments
  

What ever your reasoning for working out be it impressing women, impressing yourself, health etc...Just getting serious about fitness will have so many benefits.

All that matters is consistency and constant improvement

As others have said working out has so many health and physical benefits.

Even if you're an average lifter with a decent routine and diet, after a few months you will look noticeably better. When you out look around at all the guys that are either fat or skinny with no muscle development what so ever. Upon first look from women you're going to stand out easily.

Combine that with some good style and game(which is what everyone is here for) and you should do well.

I see ONE REASON for working out less or taking it easy and that is risk of injury. In my youth I used to lift heavy weights as I was obsessed with trying to look like a bodybuilder and without a proper trainer or spotters in the gym suffered several injury's including a tweaked disc in my back. One doctor even told me that due to my back injury I might have even "shrunk" a bit in height. Perhaps, this troll is worried about injury so he doesn't work out?

Personally, I've never really worked out. I'm a naturally skinny guy, tiny bit of a belly. I pull semi-regularly and have decent game. I don't see my body as a huge contributing or detracting factor in game; I more or less see it as a complete non-issue.

It seems you have a really different take and I'm curious what your experiences are, specifically how working out has impacted your game.

Hmmm...I don't know where all these translations are coming from.

paraphrasing, he basically said, "Hey Roosh, I know you work out. I don't but still get results (it seems like "a nonissue" for game). How do you feel like it's affected your game (as opposed to not working out)? Is it really that big of a deal?"

What he was asking was not that big of a deal, was a somewhat legitimate question, and was not worth the level of heckling in this thread, I'd say. I wouldn't have asked it, but still...
