Hi,
complete noob at online marketing, but I just finished a marketing qualification and was planning to start a blog recounting interesting/unusual things i'd done. I don't have a product to sell, it's more about having a web page as a project that i can showcase when applying for marketing roles.

I have to ask, since there's numerous people here who know about IM, 1, does this sound like a good idea?
and
2, how best to go about it? books, pages, videos? Don't mind cost, but i'm short of money for a while, otherwise i would have taken another course. Also, this seemed like a good way to show I have a solid understanding by doing something tangible.
