Developing personality, "The Vibe"
Roosh describes using "The Vibe" i.e. an interesting personality instead of worldly status symbols to attract girls.

What are some ways you can develop an "interesting" personality? I find working on physical aspects i.e. working out, getting nice clothes, etc much easier than becoming a genuinely interesting person. I find myself tongue tied frequently, even though I'm of above average intelligence (probably not important for social skills huh)

What I plan on doing:

-Reading Conversationally Speaking
-Reading Voice Power
-Practicing storytelling delivery, content, etc

Obviously, the more you interact with girls, the better you get at it

But is there a method to the madness?

RE: Developing personality, "The Vibe"
I believe the whole body and most of our mental faculties can be improved to some degree.
There is a process and a result , until you've practiced the process to the point of near unconscious action , don't worry about the result.

I have this same problem , actually being around the woman can short circuits my higher functions.(I'm handsome so I don't really have to talk that much) A great personality is really the ability to fully express ourselves in a unique way, share our opinions and world view in a open and non defensive way.
I'm reading "the art and craft of storytelling" to improve my writing and studying "Rhetoric"(persuasion) to improve my speaking and listening.

I found writing my own stories down editing them and polishing them has helped in the heat of the moment, more organizing your thoughts than rote memorization.

You also have to define for yourself what a "genuinely interesting person" is so you'll know when you get there.

Visualisation : close your eyes , imagine yourself with the girl , now add in all the background elements , people walking around , noises so you have to talk louder, distracting smells, maybe you have a bit of a boner.
Your looking at her telling an amazing story, your story. she thinks your so interesting , she's lost in your story responding with "Right" , "Yeah" , smiling, hypnotized.
(make it as real as possible not a fantasy)
Imagine the emotions that might come up if you're a sensitive type like me. Don't be afraid to let those spill into your storytelling.(crying should be avoided)

The whole process should take about 15 mins.

I'd say you're on the right track.

You might want to read this: http://heartiste.wordpress.com/2011/12/2...assholery/

It helped me develop a genuine "I don't give a fuck" vibe.

I also have to build that vibe.

Looks like you're not the only one.

I'm going to try speaking from my diaphragm and see if that helps.

I have been a good book lately: The Power Of Now. It talks a great deal about inner conflict and ego and how to conquer yourself. It makes you pinpoint the source of your anxieties and fears and makes you eradicate them! Haven't finished it yet, but so far it's awesome!
