Sometimes when I'm really procrastinating, I'll take a look in the time capsule and see what this place was like back in the beginning. (Interesting factoid: Speakeasy is the oldest non-Roosh, active member of the board.)

It's interesting how so much of the stuff we talk about today came up years ago. Sometimes, I wonder if we've already flipped the game and started the same subjects over again.

There's some pretty interesting stuff back there. They're fun to read, and there's a sort of age-of-innocence feel to the threads. Very friendly, conversational, and sparsely populated. The old, abandoned usernames are pretty funny too.

If you ever decide to fuck around back there and find something interesting or funny, paste it or link it into this thread. It's not always a good idea to dredge up the past, but there's some serious gold back there.

Looking at the ancient threads is interesting.

The first thing that pops out is how few vets from the early days remain to this day as regular posters. The turnover has been high.

Every now and again, I'll read the older threads, but not too often. It's something I haven't done in a while, so I may have to go back soon and dredge up a few threads I find interesting or notable. I suggest other members do the same, there's a lot in the archive that a lot of us probably haven't seen.

YES. I do a search on the topic I'm looking for and if it returns old threads, I do read them. Most of my searches are pretty specific so I hardly ever get too much data.

This motivated me to do some random searching and I found some funny shit. I particularly like this guy's threads:

This is just hilarious.

On a more valuable note, this guy's post on female lawyers/law students is dead accurate.

Too much vital knowledge here that must not be lost.

The real power of the internet is that for the first time in history millions of men have a live system without geographical or financial constraints for almost instant feedback and field reports in their experiences and interactions with women. Before the internet, 95% of men could not make sense of women's behaviour and we simply believed we were with a girl that was "having a bad day" or "was different than the rest". We would get burnt and destroyed because we didn't know what worked and what didn't. Also, each one of us thought our expierence was unique and no other man had this specific issue. As an example, the fact that LMR happens with almost every woman before you have sex the first time, is something that I think would have remained a secret without the technology we have today.

What the game blogs and especially this forum has done has shown us that our experiences with females are almost universally the same and specific methods can be used with women anywhere, across most age brackets and in almost all countries in the world.

Why is it that the dudes with the least contribution to the pile are always the most crazed about downloading the entire forum? This seems to happen every few months. Kick in, instead of worrying about hoarding data. Your mind is one of the best storage devices ever created.

Roosh's true success has not been creating the community that assembled this massive collection of excellent data.

Rather, his true success has been creating a community that would quickly rebuild the data if anything ever happened to it.

Anyone who doubt this should spend a 24 hours taking in the unbelievable amount of raw intel and quality masculine discussion that is added to this forum every single day.
