Met this girl my sophomore year. A townie. We hung out from time to time and I was then in a relationship. So I was really distant from this chick. She seems sort of in to me. Always complimenting me and stuff, and I honest to god think I caught her masturbating in her car once too, so I was intrigued.

Anyway...me and that other girl I was with part ways, I move in on this chick. I'm sort of a mess emotionally junior year because of a lot of stuff and I start confiding in her. Real emotional stuff that I usually keep to myself. At the end of the semester, I decide to go abroad for the spring. I call her and leave a voicemail saying I'm leaving. Talk to her the next week: turns out she cut a chunk of her hair from her head to make a paintbrush right after I left.

When abroad, I called her and wanted to know what she thought of our relationship. I told her I liked her. She said she just started dating another guy. I stopped calling her. Whatever. Started dating another chick abroad. Estonian. Good time.

Now I'm back. She's living with her boyfriend. And she keeps telling me how happy she is that I'm back, that I'm such a cool guy, fucking overkill. Laughs at every damn thing I say. She used to live forty five minutes away. Now lives in the same city and works two blocks from my dorm. I tell her that I applied for a cruise ship job after graduation and she has a mini freak out. First thing she says "I don't know if I could live on a ship that long." The fuck cares about your preferences? Then her eyes get watery, she starts telling me the evils and dangers of living out at sea. Tells me a story about a father who went out to sea and never returned to his family. Whole tone of the conversation changes until I remind her I haven't gotten the job yet.

I like this girl. I want to fuck her. She's needy as fuck though. Deeply fears abandonment. Has a fucking boyfriend. Is very attractive as well. I go to a small school where everyone knows everyone's business so chilling with a top shelf townie girl from time to time is a definite plus and social proof. But she's fucking with my head. And she lies a lot. Not about big stuff, but little things that I know don't really add up with other shit she said.

What should I do? I don't know what her deal is. I haven't called her in six months. But she keeps calling me and I haven't had the heart to ignore her.

She is needy? Start treating her in a bad way, give her mixed emotions, sometimes you act friendly and sometimes be mean. Put her in a position where she will need to call you again but dont be nice to her half of the time.

Invite her to your place, tell her you like real social interactions, not phone conversations and if she does come to your house, give her some alcohol (i usually dont recommend it but in this situation is a must) and go for the bang.

If she doesnt come to your house, cut her off, she is wasting your time and using you.

Basically, the cure to your ailment is to be cool, meet more chicks, fuck more chicks, and have more options. Forget this chick. There are 97 million other crazy chicks just like her that you could be trying to fuck. There is absolutely zero that is special about this bitch. You only give a shit about her because you are not fucking, or at least chasing, a handful of other girls. She's on your mind so much because you don't have other bitches to be on your mind. Go get some other bitches on your mind, bro!

Yeah, I see what you guys are saying. I'm just going to ignore her. I don't want to deal with her anymore. I'm starting to suspect she has BPD.

I've read both Bang and Day Bang. I started cold approaching recently. Some positive results, nothing outright bad. Even went out solo for the first time two nights ago! Went well, learning experience. Ended up inviting a chick back to my place, she politely declined. I was so annoyed that I left and forgot to number close. Learning experience.

But yeah. Time to move on.
