The "How To Get Laid Without Approaching" post got me thinking.

What are some countries/cities where women do a decent portion of approaching and making the first move?

It's pretty hard to generalize about stuff like this - you have all sorts of variables to take into account (how you look for instance), but from my own experiences I'd say that Rio and Sao Paulo is a place where you get loads of approach invitations - but then that is something different than the girls doing the work themselves - you still have to put in some work.

Based on my experiences, Finland and Puerto Rico. I feel like my race had something to do with it, women in these countries don't see Asian guys very often.

Quebec (from what I hear), Germany.

My friend told me when he was in Quebec, unknown women would send him bottles of Champagne in bars. One night he was tired of partying and he had stayed in his campus room reading, one girl climbed and actually entered by the window to "check out how he was". he looked at her with a tired smile and said: "yeah sure. Well, get off those clothes of yours". Anecdotally, the one time here (in Argentina) that an unknown woman bought me a drink, she was French Canadian. She actually ended up also paying for my and my friends' drinks in my place.

In Germany, girls will not hesitate to take the offensive if they want you. Men there are not very aggressive usually.

I got Montreal on my docket this year as soon as that place thaws out.

It totally depends on how you look and where you are going. My Danish roommate gets approached often in Rio (blonde hair, blue eyes, tall) while I've never been approached outright.

But I think everyone gets approached in Peru.

That is what i think, too. Depends on your looks/race in contrast to where you are.
I have experience with finnish women approaching me (not in Finland) and brazilians (not from SP), a slovenian girl, a hungarian, a couple croatians, actually 1 italian during a train ride...
Actually, it is never consistent, according to those girls I just remember.

Asians!! those reaaally approach me, specially japanese girls being tourists in Luzern (CH), gringo women are right there, too..

Based on other people's experiences and mine, i'd still put finnish as consistently agressive to get themselves a man for the night. All other nationalities is on an individual case by case basis.

To close, today I was approached by a polish girl (half) and i played the cocky, enigmatic in a fun way stranger to her, she still doesn't know where i come from (I told her Saturn, born 776 years ago), we went for coffee and she said we should get together tomorrow to go out, I said it will depend on the stars and she said the stars will do a "lot of talking tomorrow night" and she handed me her business card with her mobile phone handwritten.

Never got approached in Peru. I picked up my Peruvian GF a few days after I arrived in Lima though and hung around with her a lot so maybe thats why.

I did notice when I went down south by myself that they stare at you in a really obvious way if they like you. When they do that you can say "porque me miras asi. es como me manoseas con tus ojos"

An austrian chick once bought me a drink. She came near me and asked me what did I want to drink. A croatian girl also bought me a drink but I had picked her up before. Another croatian girl asked me if I could go talk with her friend because she was interested in me. A french chick once grabed my ass. I was making out with a friend of a slovenian chick and she started speaking with me in spanish. At one point she says "I will do whatever you want". She was hotter but I didn´t want to risk it so I stayed with her friend. A german girl asked me if I could make a toast with her.
A brazilian girl (the most beautiful girl I haver spoke with) in Madrid just asked me my number after 20 secs. of conversation and told me we should have dinner together the next day (next day I took a bus out of Madrid to Sierra Nevada, I had a girlfriend back then). Another brazilian girl started to make conversation with my exgirlfriend next to me. A belgium chick starts talking to me saying i´m tall.
An Icelandic girl came near me and told me she liked me more than my friends.
A russian stripper on holidays in Prague started talking to me. The last one was probably in Malta, this chick asks me to take a picture of her group. I only take a picture of her legs. When she comes to get the camera back she sees the picture and jumps at me, give me some kisses and after leaves. I have no idea where she was from.
Some spanish/portuguese chicks and english.
About finnish I remenber I was talking with a finnish chick that told me it was normal for guys in Finland on cold aproaches to ask girls to have sex in the bathroom while in a club.

But I would say that if you´re tanned or black there is no place you will get more aproached then eastern europe (by girls, and if you´re unlucky by skins). It´s countless.

One of differences between eastern europe and nordic countries is the fact that eastern europe guys look like chumps, so you have zero competition the same doesn´t aplly to nordic guys. In EE, girls will be making out in the dance floor and the guys will stand in the bar only watching. I remenber the second time I´ve been in Ostrava some girls started talking with my friend and making out between them. My friend turns to me and said "fuck they´re lesbians" I told him " you idiot go make out with them, they are not lesbians". I was right. Off topic once my brother was talking to two english girls that were saying they were lesbians. My brother said to them "so prove it", man they started to make out. It was live porn happening.

You hear about a place, a myth, where there are incredible girls, very friendly. So you go there and normally it goes bellow you´re expectations. The only place that fully fullfiled my expectations was Ostrava. The last day I was looking to the dance floor and it looked like I was in hell (in a good way), everybody making out, girls leaving the bathroom with guys...
A line that worked for me in EE was "I like you´re style, (ask for name) you would definitely be a model in my country".
Surprinsigly the girl that gave me the hardest time for k-close till now was a Irish one. From italian girls I remenber they are very proud.
Not wanting to generalise but the chances of being aproached for any type of guy in south of europe is lower than north or eastern.
I don´t mind being aproached if the girl is hot .

I think the only time an Asian girl will approach you is when she's a hooker. Or, as I recently learned in the UPI, she wants a foreigner to knock her up for either a monthly check or to adopt out the baby and get a big payday. My buddy had a girl so happen to sit down next to him at a bar in Manila. The only English she really knew (in a country where English is its second language and signs and tv is in English) was "You buy me drink?" and "I allergic to latex." I was pretty impressed when he said he stopped at that point, he's a younger cat.

That Russian stripper on holiday throws up some serious caution flags, too.

Kona this girl was on holidays with two others and was spending cash like crazy. It looked like she had been saving and just wanted to have fun. She had rolls of bills on a plastic bag and was giving away big tips to all employees.
I ended up banging her on the 4 star hotel she was staying in Prague at 02 am, she payed for the cab.
It was my last night in Prague. I left the hotel at 4:00 am. Picked up my friend with the private cab from the hotel and head out to the airport.

well, Kona, those Asians i talk about were mainly korean and japanese touring Europe, if you live in one of the most beautiful towns in the world, Luzern, there are 5 mill tourist every year, most of them asians, they are not whores, believe me. I didn't bang them, but they certainl approached me and wanted to take pictures with me hugging them.

I also live in one of the most beautiful towns in the world with a similar number of tourists. Most of them are also Asian. I've seen over and over the affect a change of scenery has on the K and J-girls, and love it.

Well, not only asians, the main bridges and streets are filled with hordes of tourists from all over who come to Switzerland either to do regular tourism or on ski trips. You know how K and J people are, they travel a lot, specially to Europe.

Luzern is regarded as the most beautiful small city or big town (how ever you want to see it with 60000 inhabitants) in Europe, it is where the William Tell legend tookplace, you have the Lion Sculpture that Mark Twain described as the most moving in the World, a medieval city center very well kept etc, it is just a magical city, local or foreign, nobody stops admiring the beauty of it every day.

And, it is in the middle of Switzerland, at the heart of the foundational german cantons, so it is quite a handy base of operations to day travel to other spots in CH or even Europe. That is why is filled with passing tourists. If you love music (classical and jazz) it has the fantastically designed KKL (Kultur und Kongresszentrum Luzern) which attracts the best classical musicians from the world over the year round plus a summer festival (Blue Balls" of commercial music and jazz.

So for a small city, has quite a lot of attraction and Switzerland is a beautiful country filled with mountains and lakes so tourism is a big industry.

Ahh! and now we are arriving to the Carnival time, here you have a great Carnival week, together with Venice and Basel, they are the best in Europe.
