I've had a few women say that to me in the past year. I take it as a compliment but I'm not sure what makes them think that..

I'm sure many of you have got this comment in the past..What do you make of this when a girl says that to you?

It's probably a shit test. She recognizes that you're probably a player and wants to see if you'll beta it up and reassure her about your completely monogamous intentions. Instead, come back with something cheeky like "Over 1 billion served!" Congrats, if you're getting that comment from girls you're clearly doing something right.

Why, do you have a thing for players? (used this one last night. As usual, she vehemently denied it and said she hated players but was all over me the rest of the night even though she knew damn well I am a player)

I'm a virgin or I'm saving myself for marriage I use this one a lot too. Gets a laugh and often actually induces the girl into arguing that you are too hot to be a virgin and thus seducing herself.

Girls accusing you of player status is a very good sign- it shows that you are coming across as confident and sexy.

Heartiste recommends you handle this depending on your assessment of the girl and her question. He says if she is a good girl who really likes you and seems genuinely worried, you should reassure her by saying that you used to be a player but those days are behind you. But if she is a typical slut who is just shit testing you to qualify you as this weeks bang, just deflect it using the responses listed in this thread

I find cocky faux self-deprecation more effective than 'I'm a player!!!' retorts. Girls get more intrigued.

I also, always use variations of these lines. Usually they hit me, go "yeah right" or "I can tell" (matching my sarcasm) before we proceed.
