I'm 37 and I like them barely legal. Just moved from Missouri to California. In Missouri, the age of consent was 17. So guess what I was going for. In Cali, the extra year is killing me.
Anyway, I NEVER, EVER lie about my age. I always took for granted that girls YEARN for an older man. So I approach with the mindset of, "Here I am...what you've been wanting."
My attitude is that it's up to me to bring them into womanhood.

When they ask, I usually say, "How old do I look?" They usually say between 21 - 26. I give them the grin as if I get some inside joke, then let them know how old I am. Then they go into this whole, "You don't look anywhere near that age" thing. After that, we keep the conversation rolling.
Sometimes I'll go with, "Probably too young for you. Ya know, since women mature faster than men, that makes you like 67 in girl years. Maybe I'll hook you up with my grandfather. If you too don't work out, or if you don't let him hit it, maybe I'll let you hang out with me some time."

She laughs, comments about how "crazy" I am, then we move on to more interesting things.

I think Im inmature but im in my late 20's and havent bang a girl over 25. Most between the ages of 19-22. I make up ages so much i loose track. If I lose another 10 lbs, I'll be truly mid-50's/believably early 40's and there's no fucking way I'm telling the truth as it means almost guaranteed blowout with American 27 YO grad students. Even "being 45" is really pushing it.

(Lucky I've been using sunscreen on my face for the last 30 years whenever I go out for a significant time midday)

Edit: Was just getting ready to go out and realized I HAVE TO shave now to lie effectively. Stubble is more than 50% grey and adds at least 5 years to apparent believable age (ABA).

Never once lied about my age. I always let them guess, but eventually after a bit of bantering lets them know. It's all about how you handle their response to you saying it. If they reject you based on your age - it's all about how you handle it - if you get defensive you just failed their shit-test.

I say I'm 28 -- and I'm 38. They eventually find out. Some get mad; some find it funny. I'm not trying to marry them so a relationship started on a lie isn't really a concern I have.

If they find out you lied, tell them you're age fluid. If they get upset, call them an ageist or a bigot.

I am 40 but all my online profiles says 35. Just think it sounds better. If I like the girl and want to meet her again I just say that for whatever reason Tinder/Cupid got it wrong etc and my real age is 40. Never had any blowbacks because of that.

If I meet girls in real life I just being honest and say I am 40. Most girls in their 20s like older guys so this has never been any issues.

It's a double edged sword to be mysterious about your age. There was a fit, handsome fellow at my hostel last week that I would have pegged for 32ish. He told everyone his birthday was on the weekend but was evasive as to his age. So now, of course, all the girls are very interested in trying to guess. But it made me and others suspicious and I then noticed a bit of grey around his head and beard. I then decided he was likely much older. And he was it turns out... 40. If he'd just said he was 32, then everyone including me would have just accepted it. The elusiveness is going to spark suspicion. It drew attention.

If you look younger, then just lie. It doesn't hurt anyone. And if she turns out to be the love of your life, she'll forgive it anyhow, else she may have never hung out with you because of a mere number (age).

The main issue is to look good, no matter your age. By looking good I mean no belly, slight muscle tone, clothes that fit, decent quality clothes, white teeth, hair on your face/head trimmed.

The point is once you have the basics covered, you will look better than your competition.

A girl/woman asking your age means she wants to know more, obviously you want to deflect the question. Focus on her age, this week in fact I said to a girl "are you getting old". She jokingly said "shut up" but then revealed she was 30. I have almost two decades on her and she never asked.

Of course I am not going to tell any girl/woman I am closing in on half a century. I tell them anything between 39 - 41, but I try not to give a number.

I think being older you have a different vibe, girls aren't that stupid.

Most young guys interact differently with young girls than older guys.

I'm in my mid 30s and list my real age on my online profile, I meet up with women in their early 20s fairly often. It's not a huge deal at this point (actually it's sort of a point of pride) and I'm not going to drastically alter my age to attempt to squeeze in a few more bangs.

My "match" list is full of tons of pretty good looking girls in their mid 20s who have their maximum age limit set to 40 or older. I get responses from girls who set their age limit to 30 fairly often as well. As rudebwoy mentions, if you work out and optimize your look, even if you're 35 you'll often get selected over a late 20s guy who doesn't (and there are plenty of those out there.)

I also conducted a little experiment on tinder back when the app was in its prime. 26 & 27 was the sweet spot attracting both women in their thirties and 19/ 20 year olds as well. Therefore I will continue to use those ages until I am at least 36 or I can get away with it in looks.
