I set up a date with a girl im seeing but ive blown my money on the usual. Smoking, gym and the internet bill. It was agreed we'd watch a movie but how can i use my cunning to get her to pay for me. She's paid for me in the past but how could i get by with meeting up with no cash.

Don't text or call her day of the date. She'll probably call/text asking where you are. Answer all-disoriented like and say you passed out, and you'll be there in one sec. Throw something on, and "conveniently" forget your wallet at home in your haste.

As a general rule, if you are younger than 25, don't do dates that are more expensive than 10 or 15 USD.
Take her to have an ice cream, to an aperitiv in the evening, or just invite her to walk across the city center with you and then grab a coffee in some cafe'.

There are so many options that are almost free, I usually go along these lines.

Or suggest a different activity. There are tons of things you can do for free. Maybe go for a walk or something. That would give you a lot more opportunities to talk than sitting in a movie theater.

Or just show up and say you're broke, and suggest you just walk around town instead, have her buy some cheap wine at a small shop and drink in the park.

I have been that poor. And it sucks.

But you can still make it work. Call her the day of the date and tell her that you cant make it as you are none on cash due to unexpected circumstances. Tell her that she can come to your house to watch a movie at your place, or just go for a walk.

If she bails on you because YOU have no money, then never call her again.

If he only has $3 dollars, he probably doesn't have money for gas. Tell the girl that you aren't feeling well and that you can watch a movie at your place and bring some soup.

I did this by accident but I didn't have to pay for a movie.
When we went to buy the ticket I reached in my pocket but realized I left it at home. When I told her this she said "It's ok, I got it."

My friends who love to mooch have similar tactics. Basically they will be like "hey lets go to taco bell" We get to taco bell and they're like "hey man, can you spot me this one time, i'll pay you back."

I don't like moochers but if you don't have any money maybe try something along those lines.
