Might have something to do with the way many of your fellow countrymen tend to be self absorbed, arrogant and prattle condescendingly and patronisingly about our affairs over our heads even though they often don't have a fucking clue.

Not singling you out though, plenty of those in my land too and we had many emigrants who went to the States. I can't say that I haven't met people from the US that I liked and I tend to get along with decent Americans much more than I do with people from neighbouring countries.

What do you mean countrymen? I don't know anyone fucking around where you're at. If you mean politicians then that's different. They are very disconnected to us and most of us have no clue what they're doing.

One day in Greece some dude heard me talking English so he decided to start a fight with me and said " Your president is a pimp do you know how many planes he sold to Turkey this year?"

I said " Shut up and good I hope they blow your asses up"

The point is we don't know who we sell planes to or care. We do a lot of business that's disconnected to us so in a big country like here if one were to keep track it would be mentally overloading. We care that our banks are fucking us and about gas prices. Shit that effects our personal lives not shit in your country unless one of us is getting fucked with there.

Fine, I mean other Americans who visit my country talking about stuff that happens here and yes I'm quite aware that politics has nothing to do with the people. I wasn't talking about that. Politicians are disconnected to the people and reality all over the Northern Hemisphere it seems.


Well said regarding the Greek and all that, he deserved it. Only idiots are unable to distance an individual from the politics of his government
