Anyone lead the lifestyle of always forcing yourself to look for girls in order to blow your load as opposed to instant gratification? I'm doing 'No Fap November' on 4Chan, and I'm on day four because I started on Halloween. I think it's boosting my mental clarity and confidence. I have went a week on a few occasions without doing so, and I always seem to feel the same way. Now I'm very curious as to how I may feel after a month of not masturbating combined with a solid routine and diet, if I don't get laid first of course. I'm starting to really support the claims of increased testosterone from abstaining from self-pleasure as opposed to the supposed increase from doing it habitually. Even if I don't get any for a while, I think it serves as extra 'primal' energy to go toward other great pursuits. Inb4 increased risk of prostate cancer (I believe that is more than offset by generally healthy living)

This is probably going to be a big part of my lifestyle from now on.

Depends on what country I am in. In the US i would have to sometimes. In Brazil and Colombia I never jack off.

I know this has been discussed to death, but I'd like to see some actual experiments on this. It could be due in part to the placebo effect. You're primed to think not jerking will make you react a certain way. Get 10 people to not jerk because they're told its bad for them, 10 to not jerk and told that not jerking is bad for them etc.

I've considered the placebo effect, but I can live with it if that's the case. Whatever gets me closer to my goals. There is certainly no religious influence involved. Yeah, a proper experiment would be good, but this is one of those 'to each his own' kind of subjects, I suppose.

I have been doing this for a while, it works best when combined with working out or other physical activity. Only downside is PE, unless you are getting it regularly. An escort for backup is not bad idea. It works and really combats depression in a big way I have found. Modern Savage has a good thread on this.
