For me personally, I'm looking to have networks in 5-7 international cities with outstanding quality of life that I can just go to whenever I want on short notice. I dont think you could ever get bored this way.

In terms of where? I still have a lot of exploring to do but it would be a nice mix of metropolitan, tranquil, northern hemisphere and southern.

If I had to choose now, I'd pick these:

1. Cordoba
2. Medellin
3. Tokyo
4. Thailand
5. Berkeley, CA
6. Washington, DC (home base)

DC because that's where my family and real estate are.

I lived in Berkeley for a while and I had some of the best times of my life. It has some of the best outdoors opportunities nearby (Tilden Regional Park, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Mount Tam) with an intelligent and progressive thinking young population. Very conducive to a healthy, laid back lifestyle. It's also a great place to develop artistic talents such as film-making and music, something that I would like to take seriously in the future. Also right next door to San Francisco, which is probably my favorite major American city.

I like your list a lot although I would vary it a bit for my personal tastes and situation.

But in general, a home financial/business base in the US is a solid choice. Easy place for entrepreneurs to get started, lots of customers willing to try new products/services, with the unfortunate downside being the crushing taxes the US gov. will likely impose in the years to come (if they don't default altogether) combined with the dollar nose dive vis a vis other currencies.

A pure quality of life location where you love the culture, the food, the atmosphere, and even better, know the local lingo is also a solid choice. Valuable for the downtime one needs as you get older as well as to shag away night & day if you import in your favorite girl from abroad (from location described below).

In my experience, a pure ease of pulling beautiful women location rarely coincides with the pure quality of life location -- with the exception of places like Brazil or Thailand perhaps. But even in these countries, if you want to get past the girls on the game and move into the upper echelons of hot, local "non-pro" women, it's not as easy in the larger cities as it is in the more destitute/isolated regions.
Money talks of course, so it depends on what your personal financial situation is compared to local men as well as looks/skills/age which is a given.

I think it's difficult to go beyond 3 locations without spreading yourself too thin.

I could however conceivably see 2-3 locations that are near each other that can be grouped as one.

But again, this could all hit the pocket book pretty hard depending on what your lifestyle is and how your roll.

In any case, this is the cutting-edge future that we should all aspire to. This is the life that guys like Nathaniel de Rothschild live.

Well... I would live in Europe (Sweeden, Denmark) during the summer and then back to Brazil in our most spécial holiday (Christmas) until the end of the carnival.

And this is the best of the both worlds.

Spaceman, pretty much anywhere South of the Border will beat Miami IMO.

My assessment....

*If you want to go where nobody speaks English, people save up all year to act like a rock star for one week, guest listing and status whoring is everywhere, yet you still want to be within the USA...go to Miami.

*If you want to go where people don't speak English (because their National Language is Spanish..not becuase they are a tourist or an immigrant who do not want to learn) people are way more friendly, beer, liquor food, nice hotels and pretty much everything else are cheaper, less status whoreing, more genuine friendships to be made overall...go to South or Central America.

Hi, I am new here but this site is pretty cool. I have traveled quite a bit and lived in Asia for about 2 years, on and off. From what I have seen, probably Bandung (3 hours by train from Jakarta). Amazingly good looking girls and very approachable and friendly. There is actually a saying in Indonesia that Bandung adds something to the water there as the most beautiful ladies come from there. It has a 'rusty' feeling, I guess you could compare it to Chiang Mai in Thailand. The people are very friendly and talkative. Whenever I went I was a bit of a rockstar. Not too many foreigners and just genuine friendliness and prettiness of girls really made it for me. You also have some volcanoes close by (+ or -, I don't know but for sure makes it interesting), hot springs and awesome massages for pittance. I really liked it there, I was stopped by some cute girls dead on track asking me out. Give it a try when you there, but stay close to the center as is sprawls out quite a bit.
