I've been seeing this girl for over a month and up to this point we either meetup for a drink or meetup at my place or her place for a movie. I'm very happy with this and up to this point she has been cool about it.

In her texts she has been telling me that she wants to do something fun. She has called watching a movie together on a weekend evening boring but that is exactly what I want to do this weekend. I'm feeling too lazy to setup something more exciting. I really just want to watch a movie with her and I can't be bothered to put any more effort into it than that.

The purpose of this post is I'm curious about what is going inside her head. I'm not asking for advice here. I already know what I'm going to do - I'm gong to suggest we watch a movie and tell her to suggest something else if she is not happy with that. If she decides to not see me anymore after that then that is fine. I can't deal with a girl who puts demands on me.

From a psychological point of view I'm wondering if this is a tactic to try to turn me into a boyfriend. Another possibility is that her friends have put the idea into her head that a guy should put in more effort. Another possibility is that she is genuinely growing bored with me and this is a warning shot across the bow to let me know that she is going to drop me if I don't make her life more exciting.

What do you guys think is going on inside her head?

Depends on whether you've slept with her or not, which you don't say. If you haven't, she's making you jump through hoops (pain in the ass, but sometimes worth it depending on the girl). If you have, she might be saying the sex is boring.

Sounds like a combination of her being right (that is boring, dude) and her wanting more than she has.

Personally I think you should just ride it out, watch a movie and let her stay unsatisfied with it.

I hate watching movies at home. I don't have a TV but occasionally I'll go to a girl's place and she puts one on. In that case I'm psyched since it's an easy move to initiate sex, but to actually WATCH a movie with a girl? Fuck that. If you got a movie you wanna see at home just enjoy the company of yourself.

I've never had a girl tell me, "Let's do something fun" except some old LTRs from years ago, but I was with them for years. If it's a girl you've been dating for a month you're probably not getting her riled up enough. I'd stick to bar/alcohol dates but amp yourself up a little, get her to laugh more, tell some dirty jokes, be offensive. This sounds harsh but she's probably bored with YOU, not with your activities together.

Not harsh, I'm aware of that possibility and I'm cool with it. If she is bored with me then so be it.

She is the type of girl that goes out with her friends all the time so if that is what she is looking for in a guy then she should eject ASAP and find a different guy to hang out with.

You should pull the dick move. Roosh wrote an article about this. Basically she is shit testing you to entertain her more. Well fuck her, lol. Just vanish and ignore her for a few days (or something similarly dickish). That should light a fire in her -- or she'll dump you. Either way it's an interesting experiment!

How to examples:
-Drug her with coffee or energy drinks
-Speed on a motorcycle or in a fast car
-Go on an adventure by trespassing or hike

By doing these things it will increase her heart rate and cause her to be more excited. Her time spent with you will seem "exciting"

I have three versions.

The first version is that this girl wants sex more, or she wants the sex more rough or more kinky or all of the above and is waiting for you to initiate. She hates cuddling, spooning and watching movies. Happens with high energy girls.

The second version is that she is not impressed by nerdy and passive couch potatoes who like to stay at home and watch movies and play video games. Pushing her for more sex won't help in this case as it can also be seen as just another indoor activity. This girl needs to be taken out dancing or doing some active sports. Or she just may want to have some more proof that you are an active guy who has something going on in his life, be it busyness, sports or something else, she just wants to be sure you are not a lazy slob.

The third version is that this girl is a drama queen and in her distorted view any relationship not resembling a soap opera is boring. Create a drama then and leave her fast and soon. Maybe she is of the sort who needs to know you are cheating to to love you.

Of course you don't need to apply any of this, if you like to watch movies with a girl, just find a girl that shares this interest.

This girl will be a continual struggle because fundamentally she wants to have "fun" while you prefer to stay at home and watch tv movies. Believe it or not, there are girls who would much prefer to do that than go out. Forget about trying to figure out what's going on in her mind; do you think she is doing that as well? You should immediately start scouting for new girls to replace her.

I am not monogamous. I am always scouting for new girls. If this girl gets too demanding I'm going to phase her out. If she accepts my way of doing things then I'll keep her around for a while.

My guess at the moment is that she is the second version you stated above because she is not a high energy girl. She also has not been a drama queen up to this point. I'm going to stick to my guns and offer up movies and video games with booze. I'm curious how she will react to that.

When I'm not with a girl on a weekend night I go out to bars and approach. I hit the bars last Friday and last Saturday. I actually go to bars quite a lot by myself. So when I'm with a girl I just like to chill, watch a movie, and relax.
