I went out to eat with some of the young guys from the gym today. We hit a bar/restaurant near a large local university, so I figured it would be a cool scene. It wasn't. The setup was awkward for approaching groups at different tables, and the quality was just...bad (I was surprsed for a collegey atmosphere). I did see a single thing worth making a move on. This didn't phase my friends, who proceeded to get shot down by a succession of fatties and uggos. These are young fit, confident guys, I didn't expect it to be so rough for them. If this is how bad the scene is getting in general I don't like it.

No grand dramatic point, just a sad sight to see at a place that was a fun hook up spot in younger years.

You gotta find new watering holes. They only stay good for a few years and then become lame.

It's hard out here for a player. You will be rejected a lot unless you look like a model or have some kind of status.
