Sexism and twitter feminists in Germany
For the past week, this has been a hot topic in the German media:

http://www.dw.de/anti-sexism-twitter-cam...a-16552842

Quote:The trigger was a journalist's revelation that she had received a rather dubious compliment from Germany's Free Democratic Party (FDP) politician Rainer Brüderle at an official event. He told her that her chest could "definitely also fill out a dirndl," referring to a traditional dress worn in southern Germany, typically with a low neckline.

This is the kind of comment that can be laughed about and forgotten - or it can be analyzed and criticized. In this case it was the latter, with two female Twitter users getting the ball rolling.

Under the hashtag category #Aufschrei (outcry) on social network Twitter, they asked women to report their bad experiences. The response was enormous.

Under a related youtube video, about the woman in question, has commented:

"The misplaced arrogance, behavior and enormous ego most women have today plays a big role.. go on like this women and in a couple of years you will find yourselves at the feet of men again. More and more European men will start collaborating with the muslims, or loose themselves in fanatic conservatism. 90% of men worldwide want a good mother for their children, a homemaking women.. no career bitches.. it will become a bow or burst issue. They will get it one way or the other."

People do understand our thinking and its only going to increase as the effects globalisation, mass immigration, transnational crony capitalism etc all begin to truly hit home.

If you've never met a forum member - I'll assume you're lying

Oh my God. She received a "dubious compliment."

Even Anne Frank never knew such oppression or humiliation. Even that paralyzed girl on that book cover who writes with the pen in her mouth has never known such hardship. Even slave women in the 19th century were not degraded this way.

I don't think a Twitter campaign is enough. I want a FULL SCALE human rights inquiry launched -- to the tune of thousands of dollars. I want Kickstarter projects initiated to "educate" people about doling out dubious compliments.

Even school shooters don't stoop to this degree. And that Says Something.

RE: Sexism and twitter feminists in Germany
I read an article, the "twitter activist" Anne Wizorek apparently got "coached" by New York feminazis.
I saw a segment on German TV where they paired her up with a German PUA / dating coach. I only saw snippets from the discussion but the american influence was very obvious. Pretty much all the rhetorics was there ... I was waiting for her to drop the "rape-culture" bomb.

In one scene Wizorek even did that classic ghetto-chick-finger-waving thing that black ghetto girls are so fond of. She was angry and trying to cut off the PUA dude, who did a pretty good job from what I could see. The whole thing was disgusting and full with man-hating rhetoric. Some old hag said something along the lines of "men are simply too dumb to give out proper compliments to women" which gained roaring applause from the audience.

Its some fucked up shit and for me just one more reason to leave the country.
We got some real problems in Germany but this is what people talk about. I really fear we might have a situation like in America soon. I can see all the shit that this forum talks about in Germany too, only to a (yet) lesser extent.

^this, also it's nice to see that his party supports him and that many public figures dismiss this as "just another female overreacting"

Quote:Under the hashtag category #Aufschrei (outcry) on social network Twitter, they asked women to report their bad experiences.

The mini-reports are drawn from both exceptional and everyday situations. Examples include "The guy that runs up to you after you've gotten off the train, who calls out 'Hang on, beautiful!'" Taken together, the hundreds of tweets paint a disturbing picture of society, even if not all of them are true.

Quote:Some men have said the campaign isn't enough, with one writing: "Your outcry won't change anything. But a slap in the face, an official complaint or a report to your superiors, etc. will!"

Wtf

Most of this was orchestrated and covered way beyond its justifiable importance by " Spiegel", the same left- wing news outlet that routinely claims that racism, nazis and machos are everywhere and has snarky stories about " tough girls" out competing guys etc...

One good thing from reading about all this #Aufschrei nonsense is that I learned a new German word: Rabenmutter. It has a nice ring. It means raven mother, or a careerist woman who cares more about her job than her kids. I'm gonna have to borrow that one.
