Will spend there 2-3 nights, need recommendations regarding:

1. Nightlife - good places to go to meet and hopefully score local girls.
2. Good backpacker place - for sleeping, one which have a social attitude that I can connect easily with travelers (as I will travel alone)
3. Any other helpful tip.

Get your ass on the booze cruise! It's a great way to meet people and its followed by a pub crawl!

Definitely a good recommendation, I was in such crawls in other countries and it was fun.

What about local girls? easy to pick? good spots?

I actually go to Budapest on weds for a couple nights. I have never been there before. This booze cruise idea sounds good. I would also like to know about good spots and the females.

went there a couple of years ago with some colleagues - can't recommend specific names of places but one piece of advice i can give you is to stay away from strip clubs, esp the ones recommended by cab drivers!! run by local thugs and will shake you down for lots of $; police won't help

Budapest is a beautiful city with okay chics, but it is full of tourists scams and shit. You cant take taxis off the streets because they rip you off. You go to restaurants they rip you off. You cant just walk into random bars because they might be scam bars. Its such bullshit. This city needs to get its shit together, its a fail of a city. 3rd world countries aren't this fucked.
