Bandolero on Thursday nights is legit. I discovered this by accident. Be prepared to deal with cockblocking Georgetown frat boys, but the quality is high enough (compared to other venues in DC) for it to be worth the effort.

But yeah as HC and Kenny Powers pointed out, I've noticed DC is extremely fluid, which is maybe why people have differing opinions on what's good/what's bad. There is a lack of consistency. The same bars might still be around, ya, but very few places are good consistently over a period of weeks or months. Not a good city for online. Night life is mediocre (some might even say weak) compared to other places. Day game is where it's at.

I haven't been there in about 4 months or so but hear it goes.
Friday night is the best night IMO. So what you can do is, hit cafe citron in dupont circle. Eden on I street, and bravo bravos, not until like 1:00-1:300AM. If you looking for latinas.

Dominicans.. hit up Carolinas. Its a nice spot to dance bachata and pick up dominican chicks, its a resteraunt that becomes a little discoteca after like 10:00.

IF you looking for upscale hip hop scene. There is the Park on 14th.(highly recommended) Hottest ethnic/black girls you gonna get in the city. Also, MIA is near you hotel as well. THat place has some hot chicks and its hip-hop, but not hood trash.

Dive bars.... hit up Chinatown and U st. U street is very international and hipsterish.

Adams Morgan, Adams Morgan. I used to hate it. Then I stayed in a hostel when I visited DC last time on 18th street. That place was so much fun. I was so drunken and there were alot of girls...Summer mind you.(all interns and tourist). SUMMER ONLY!!!! lol

The Asians used to party on the top floor of the Park but its been a while since i was there.

I agree about all the suits in DC. I've never been to a place with so many suits. Some parts of Manhattan have a lot of suits but DC is absolutely full of suits everywhere. Still, I get a lot of IOIs when I'm walking around in the day and a girl opened me today on the subway. Not really sure why I'm getting more IOIs here, but it could be because girls here are more used to judging suits and I'm clearly in a custom suit with a tailored coat. In other places, a guy in a suit is unique enough and few people can tell if it's a really nice suit or not.

Is Thursdays Nights at Current upstairs still good? I recall it brining in a fly international crowd circa 2010.

The only club I remember being decent was Josephines, fly girls but you will likely develop a moderate case of tennits after one night.

I agree with the U St. recommendations. I also enjoyed Donovan House Rooftop bar, not as popular as POV, but I might argue a slightly more sophisticated crowd, but then again it was around the corner from my apartment, so I might be biased.

Granted this info was from 2010-2011 timeframe, so take it with a grain of salt.

I met up with Luxe and Kenny Powers last night and went to ESL. It was definitely popping. Thanks for taking me out, you guys are great hosts.
We also went to another bar but I can't remember the name of that place right now. Talked to a few chicks, but nothing stuck. Had an Israeli cjihick who seemed really into me, but got cockblocked by her gay bff. Talked some Bosnian chick, and a half white/asian chick. The halfie was into me, but she didn't seem like the type of bitch who would have sucked my dick last night.

I finally tried the Apocalypse Opener. I noticed a couple of cute brown chicks (probably Indian) near the bar downstairs. When one of them went to grab a drink, I approached the other.

Me: Hi, how are you?
Her: Good.
Me: You have any special plans after this?
Her: No, {something I couldn't hear because of the music}
Me: Do you want to come back to my hotel with me?
Her: No, thank you, I'm ok. [she was taken aback a bit, but not nearly as much as I expected she'd be]
Me: Ok, have a good night.

I was definitely expecting a stronger reaction. I was also surprised that my adrenaline didn't really shoot up. I felt completely comfortable going up and using the AO in this environment. Out on the street, my physical rejection may be different but last night I held my frame very well.

DC doesn't seem as bad as what I've heard. The average quality isn't great, but there are definitely enough cute chicks to keep a man occupied.

Because of the abundance of average looking chicks, most womens' egos on a sliding scale trend upward as they look around the city and rank themselves amongst the competition of their fellow females. Once you find an actual 8 (in looks) in DC, she'll have the attitude of one of those Real Housewives of LA.

Also, way more chubby/overweight chicks here than cities like SF or NYC -- which is another factor all together.

you guys are both starting to realize the same thing as me. DC aint NYC/Mia/LA etc but I dont think DC is the problem, I think its the US in general. This town isnt stacked with strippers and models but there is some talent running around out there, but its not at the bars/clubs, its at the happy hours, art galleries, Whole Foods, etc.

Agreed 100%. I always tell people the baddest chicks in DC are out during the day time. On some days the girls you see out in Arlington are as good as you'll find anywhere. It's really the US more than anything. I wouldn't feel I'd be "upgrading" to move from DC to another American city, especially considering factors outside of availability of attractive women.

Shiiii.....during the summers some of us would take the DC metro just to have lunch downtown in DC. There were still some nice-looking chics pounding the sidewalks during lunch hours.
