Trust me, the majority of my traveling days I wished for a bigger budget but my plan was to hold out as long as possible without ultra frugal living like some backpackers did. I still went out a lot and tried to live as normal as possible without crazy spending.

You're planning to stay in hostels. That's bad logistics if you're looking for local girls (not impossible but definitely not helping) and there is a lot of drinking going on there. If you don't want to fall out of place with the rest I suggest you at least drink beer.

1. Stay away from Scandinavian countries if you are on a budget. Also,with the exception of smaller towns the girls are so high on themselves it will make you sick (Luckily I will escape from this shithole in December)

2. When on a budget, spend as little time as possible traveling around. It`s a waste time and in my opinion you get bad value/experience for your money. For that budget I`d stick to only eastern-european countries. Do Poland, CR and Hungary I`d say....

All of the central European capitals are wrong choices.If I had to pick one it would be Budapest.With your budget you should think about province in western Ukraine or western Poland.
Generally the best places are where you see lots of cows and lots of Ladas.

i would say stick to prague, vienna, budapest...even bratislava is extremely close to vienna. I've never been to sweden or denmark but if they are anything like finland your 1200 euro wont last you long at all.

Prague is cheap but its full of tourists, especially in the summer. you will probably end up getting laid by some french or english or german girl or something rather than a czech. vienna can be done cheap but it might not be so fun if you go there without knowing anyone. but there is a lot of student life there and the city is fairly centralized ad easz to get around. its also fucking beautiful!

anyways, i agree with the advice above, pick one or two cities and get to know them real well. with such a limited budget you will have more fun that way.

The sweet spot for that budget is 20 to 22 days. A month is too stretched and leaves no room for unexpected costs. I would say - do three weeks, three regions.

Think about adding in some spot with a beach. Then for your other two options, maybe Prague and Budapest.

Keep in mind the long game. You're based in London and flying to these places for cheap. Girls living in the cities you visit can take an equally cheap flight to visit London. Tourist chicks you meet in hostels may eventually end up in London on their travels.

So figure out how to sell your lifestyle in a way that would make a chick want to look you up when she visits. Or get her wanting to make a special weekend visit just to see you.

I found out Bucharest & Sofia are among the cheapest Eastern European cities, but a flight to Romania costs a lot more than a flight to Hungary.

After thinking it through, I've decided to drop all the cities but Budapest. I'm gonna take Roosh's advice, and rent out a room for couple of weeks once I get to Budapest. From Budapest, there are buses to Bratislava, Prague,Zagreb,Dresden and Cluj-Napoca, so if I get bored of Budapest, I can go to any of these 5 cities. As for my budget, I think I might be able to stretch it 1500, and if not I'll do 3 weeks, and make the most of it.

A lot of people on here keeps recommending Poland, but as I've said before I'm unsure which Polish city I should go to, if it's not Warsaw.

I think you should give Poland a try, Greek Kamaki has recommended Western Poland. So take a look at the cities mentioned on this forum in that region, I would also check apartment rental prices on Airbnb. Again stick to Tier B cities, stay away from capitals like Prague, Bratislava etc.
Maybe even look at university towns, this has been documented on this forum a few times.

Alberto, last year I travelled for 14 weeks in Europe by myself, and excluding the tickets from Brazil to Lisboa and back, I spent like 2000 euros. So 1200 is pretty ok if you are controling your cash and spending it wisely. You don't have to hold on to every penny (I didn't) but your money is not going to last if you do half the stupid shit stupid tourists do, like grabbing coffee in the oldest coffee shop in the city (4x the price of anywhere else) or drinking a beer in the most famous pub of the old quarter (4x times anywhere else). Be smart with your spendings, DO NOT GO WHERE TOURISTS GO!!! And cooking for yourself is probably priority #1.

The other guys who chimed in are quite right. Forget about Scandinavia. Forget about Austria. Forget about Italy. These are either expensive, socially-inclined, boring or hard, or all of these.

Having visited and stayed for many days (and gamed successfully), I recommend you take Budapest. Zagreb is cool too, but the women aren't what you are looking for.

Budapest is big, cheap and full of beautiful girls and many tourists. There's also A LOT to see and it's got a brilliant nightlife. Get an apt off Air BnB and you'll still have money till the end of the month. Also, get a bike or walk everywhere and you'll be fine. If you are bored, you are probably doing something wrong. But if you [i]must[/b] travel a little, do small sidetrips and flag missions to places like Osijek (Croatia), Brno (CR) and Pécs (Hungary).

From what you said, the plane tickets are cheap. But if you have a whole month, how about taking like 3 days each way and hitchhike? If that's your thing, anyways. I did it many times when I was travelling and I always found it awesome. It's so cool to meet new people, persuading them, having the thrill of grabbing a ride with a total stranger, not knowing where you'll be by the end of the day, arriving in new cities, new countries, etc. It'll add a nice touch of imprevisibility to your trip, and it will certainly give you some cool stories to tell girls, believe me.

I just priced them both. Here's what I found on Booking.com (Free cancellation): 30 nights from June 20th to July 21st Krakow Single Room with kithcenette at Olimp Hostel 457 pounds. 30 nights from June 20th to July 21st, Budapest Single Room (Free Cancellation) at Kerámiapark Guesthaus 383 Pounds.

Airbnb : 1 Bedroom apt in Krakow for 30 Nights - 420 British Pounds. 1 Bedroom apt in Budapest near Metro station, from 343 British Pounds.

Food & transportation is slightly cheaper in Krakow, but when it comes to housing, Budapest is way cheaper. Well now I know Budapest is the right choice. I think the only cities that might be cheaper than Budapest are Sofia & Bucharest.

UPDATE: Round-trip from London to Budapest is upwards of 120 British Pounds during high season, so I might have to go there via Poland or Belgium.

Well it seems Budapest is the choice, can't go wrong I suppose. It is a lovely city no doubt about it, I just felt it was lacking in women although many have stated differently. I would book that apt quickly, also book a flight direct to Budapest because flying into Poland will not be cheaper. Did you check out Wizzair? I believe I flew with Easy-jet the times I went.

This is no longer a 4 week trip, I've extended it to 9 weeks. I managed to get some money from my dad, so money is not gonna be an issue, I will have nearly 3000 euros now. I am doing both Hungary and Poland now, but I am also going to one Eastern European country, it can either be Estonia or Latvia. I've booked from booking.com, because airbnb seems to charge you for every single booking, but it looks like there are some really cheap apartments to be found in Riga if I book from Airbnb.

My current itinerary:
June 25: Leave London for Krakow
Room (shared bathroom) booked for 13 nights for 975 zl at Hostel Olimp Krowodrza disctrict.

July 8: Orangeways bus from Krakow to Budapest
Room (with shower) booked for 14 nights, 3.5 km from Downtown Budapest for 230 Euros

July 22: Budapest to Bratislava (for sighseeing and bus connection)
July 23: Bratislava to Katowice by bus
1 bed apartments booked for 3 weeks in Central Katowice, the nightclub Relaks is supposedly only a 3 minute walk. So 21 days for
1200 zloty.

Aug 12: Katowice to Warsaw by bus, didn't book anything yet, but I will probably book an apartment from airbnb soon. I'm planning to stay in Warsaw for 5-6 days, because I really wanna see the Warsaw nightclubs. Ideally I will be leaving on Sunday.

Aug 18: Warsaw to Riga (could be Talinn as well) by luxury bus. Latvian women are more beautiful than Estonian ones, I have no doubt about that. However, Roosh said Latvian women are difficult, so I am not sure if Latvia's the best choice. As for Talinn, I don't think there's a whole lot to see in Estonia other than the women, so I really don't want to go to Talinn instead of Riga, moreover apartments are way cheaper in Riga. I found some studios on Airbnb from 9 euros a night in Riga!

Aug 31: Back to London!!

By the way, can you bring chicks back to your hostel, if you have a private room?

I know the place, it's actually a revamped student hostel. I never stayed there but some friends and I ran an event there for 3 days. Móricz Zsigmond körtér nearby is a public transport hub that will get you anywhere, but nearby also means kilometer and a half of walking on a slope. The Gellerthegy is right behind, so the location is great for walking and sightseeing. Enjoy the trip!
(PD, for pulling, just rent a room in the 7th district for a day, no girl will make that marathon)

Volk,I can esily cancel my reservation, it's free of chrage. I ideally wanna be somewhere where there are plenty of nightclubs, so that I don't have to take the taxi or subway, that way I save both time and money. Let me have a look at airbnb.

Rudebwoy, since I have more money to spend now, I am considering more cities, I don't city anything wrong with that. Even Roosh said to stay in each city for either 2 weeks or a month, mostly all the cities I've chosen are for 2 weeks or more, except for Warsaw and Bratislava. In order to get to Eastern Europe by bus, I have to go to Warsaw anyone, so since I can't avoid it, I might as well stay there for a while.
As for Bratislava, I need to go there to get to Katowice.
I don't know if anyone from the forum ever went to Katowice, but I heard it's a student city and English is widely spoken. Katowice is also one of the cheapest cities in Poland, more so than Wroclaw. As for Krakow, what the hell is wrong with it? I honestly don't like small cities, I am not just going to Europe to get laid, I am going there to see stuff as well.

Now you have time you will work it out as
you go. I wouldn't take everything you read on the forum as gospel. If you don't go to krakow go to Prague and vice versa. Prague will have slightly better nightlife options but they are both very nice cities to visit if you are not focused soley on getting laid (and they are not bad for that either) Sometimes it's nice to take a back seat and enjoy the scenery.

I froze out Prague because it's quite expensive, and most people said the women aren't easy there. Krakow is happening for sure, I just confirmed my plane ticket. May be, 3 weeks in Katowice is an overkill, I can always change it to 2 weeks, no rush!

Alberto sorry to burst a little bubble but all the students in Katowice will have gone home for the summer holidays by the time you get there. There will of course still be the locals around and some students who have summer jobs there . I would urge you to jump on a train to Wroclaw whilst you are there as its a beautiful place and in term time there is a lot of hot chicks there.

You gotta remember alot of guys may have jobs on the side so 2 or 3 weeks is just a base to work an play. If you are just wondering the streets and hitting the clubs then 1 week will feel like a lifetime especially in a city you aren't feeling. Just go with the flow and try not to book too far ahead.
