Hey everyone. I recently got out of a LTR. Done maybe five cold approaches in my entire life. I'm 20.

Time to step up my game. My goal is to do several approaches everyday. Here's my first day.

I went to the library to find cute girls. Came there at 10 PM. There was a high school class with a couple of cute girls. 4 years my junior (legal here). One extremely cute. She was with a lot of friends and disappeared out of sight quick. There was one other cute girl that was working with a guy (he looked gay). I wanted to keep it simple and not do 2-sets today. I told myself, if the either one goes to the bathroom, I'll ask the girl if I can lend a pencil or something. They left shortly after. Too bad.

Approach 1
I was working on a problem set for college. When I needed a break I did a round through the library. I saw a cute girl walking upstairs, definitely a 7, my age. I followed her. She sat in the silent section of the library. I went to sit at the same table, there were several other people there.

I saw she was working through a basic math book I have used as teaching method. After about 15 minutes I went for a quick break and when I came back I strolled past her and said:

Me: "Hey, I know that book."
Her: "Oh, wow".
Me: "Trying to get into university?"
Her: "Yeah I want to do my major in psychology".
Me: "My sister majors in psychology."


I leaned back, legs crossed.

Her: "How do you know this book?"
Me: I taught from it. What tutor firm are you taking lessons from?
Her: X.
Me: "Oh, I'm with Y. I can teach you if you want." *smirk*
Her: "I don't get this problem actually..."

I briefly explained logarithms to her and went back to my place, saying: "let me know if you need help with something else".

She didn't ask for anything else. At this point I had my doubts wether she liked me, but she came across as very shy. 30 minutes went by. I wanted to go. I wanted to write a note, saying: what's your number? and give it to her, but decided to wait a little longer until she would leave.

Her being shy and all, I didn't want to pressure her into announcing her number in front of a whole table of people.

She finally left, I looked up. She looked at me, saying "thanks" and laughing, little shy. I got up walked ten meters away from the table. She followed. I said:

Me: "you're leaving?"
Her: "Yeah, I'm going to my lesson".
Me: Ah, good luck. What's your name?"
Her: "Julia"
Me: "GreenGranted"

I took her hand, shook it, took out my phone and said:

Me: "wanna go for a drink sometime? Put your number in here."

She typed in her number. Her hands were trembling a little. Took that as a positive.

Her: "till drinks"
Me: "see ya."

When I got back to the table, all the girls' eyes were on me. They were rather ugly, but they saw me getting the digits. It must have raised my value haha.

I went outside the library, where I intended to say to cute girls: "Are you the one coming for the physics lesson?" (I actually privately teach, and it's always a hassle to find the right person the first time.). They of course say no, and I say: "Ah, but can I flirt with you for 5 minutes?". I saw no cute girls, and I was very hungry, so I went home. A little disappointing. Will definitely use this line tomorrow and report back. Should've brought more food.

My biggest regret:
After I number closed the shy 7 in the library, I walked around some more and saw a stunning chick, 8.5. I almost got a boner on the spot. 2 years my junior. She was with her father, so I did nothing. I stood behind them on the elevator. They were having an arguement. Then the father took another elevator, the girl went off in another direction, saying "bye loser".

I did NOTHING. 5 seconds too late, I thought of "are you always that cheeky?" or something along those lines. I went back to get my stuff, but couldn't find her afterwards.

There were some cute girls sitting in 5 sets studying, but I wanted to do just 1-sets today and they were hard to find.

Approach 2
My second krav maga lesson this night. I saw a cute girl (with glasses). Walked over and said: "do you always keep your glasses on? I'm wondering if I should keep them on." We ended up sparring for the full 75 minutes. Had a lot of fun. Her body was in very good shape, at least a 7, two years older then me. I walked her to the dressing rooms afterwards, said: "wanna grab a drink sometime?". She hesitated. I said:

"you don't have to." (I smiled big)
Her: "Well, I have a boyfriend, is that a problem?".
Me: "Yeah" (bigger smile)
Her: "Oh, ok, too bad. Sorry." She smiled, then went into dressing room.
Me: "See you next week".

Nothing lost. Question: is it bad to go after girls that are in my weekly activity classes? This girl took my offer very well, smiling, apologising and I'm sure there's nothing awkward next week. But is this always the case?

Supermarket
I strolled to the supermarket TWICE today, but no talent. I ended up chatting up a slightly chubby girl that worked there (pretty face though), but didn't pursue. Can't hurt to have a girl smiling at you when you enter the supermarket. There is a problem, though: I have never seen actual talent at my supermarket. The neighborhood I'm in is kinda poor, with a lot of ethnic minorities, so I don't expect a lot of the hot white girls that I want to be there. On the other hand, I'm in a 500 person student housing, and that's mostly white, so the college chicks are bound to come to the supermarket. Weird.

Pointers on first date with the shy girl?
My ideas: Tuthmosis first date recipe (plenty of bars in my area).

Invite her over on saturday afternoon and drink wine on the courtyard of the student housing (literally beneath my window). Then walk around in the streets, some very nice places nearby. (centre of Amsterdam). Although this is a saturday, and it's a first date, I wanted to do it in the afternoon and enjoy the sun. Problem? I don't think so, but I want your opinions.

Invite her to help me shop for new clothes and stroll through Amsterdam. Do that in the afternoon and then we can cook together and enjoy wine afterwards in my room. (just invite her to the shops, then 'spontaneously' for dinner). Good ideas?

When to text? I was thinking some time tomorrow? Is there a consensus on this, or does it really not matter?

Final question: what do you guys think about asking a hot (7 with big tits) co student for drinks? I KNOW she's into me, she's been eyeing me for weeks, but she's in classes with me and all. (I can avoid speaking if things turn awkward, but still.) Opinions?

Good stuff here man!! Sounds like you exude natural confidence. Much better than I was at your stage in the game.

One thing that comes to mind is that you could have taken the "teacher student" role to a really fun and sexual place.

"I'll teach you, but if you're going to be one of my students you better be on your best behaviour "

It's not too late to do this. I would play up this role via texting or the next time you meet.

At the gym whenever I go up and talk to the hottest girl you get ALL OF THE GUYS looking at you. At first this pressure seems overwhelming but as soon as you open your mouth you actually get a rush of excitement from all of the guys looking at you in envy. It's a fun element.

Another trick I hijacked from MattC is to type in your phone:

I would have said "No, we all have our problems!". Something makes me think if this girl is willing to meet up with you for a drink despite having a bf you can still close it. Depends on your values and patience to game a girl with a bf.

I love this idea. Absolutely do it. Always make sure to bring her back to your place at the end for "another beer".

Most people say you should do dates in the early evening. But there is no problem with fucking during the day if you both have the time.

Nah, I don't like this one. Hang out with her for HER not for shopping. Definitely end in wine at your place though. I would say go with the first option, be very flirty throughout the whole date then end back at your place.

It depends on the strength of your approach. You seemed very strong according to the write up. Next day seems fine. Due to my confidence and boldness I usually text the same day saying:

Day two. ZERO approaches. What a shitty day. I did make a serious effort, but missed out on the little chances I got:

I woke up at 6:30, without alarm clock. This almost never happens to me. Happy to be alive, I guess.

I listened to some good music, was pumped and went 15 minutes earlier then required to college. I waited by the lockers to open pretty girls. None came, only plain janes.

During the day I leered around for pretty girls sitting alone, but was mostly busy with college. Didn't open my co student yet (your reply wasn't up yet and I wanted to wait on it), but I will get her number as soon as I get the chance.

After college went to the library to hit chicks with the "are you coming for the physics lesson?". As I was walking up, I saw a really hot chick walking inside the library. Somehow, my brain went: "she has an ipod in, it isn't gonna work', 'she's wearing huge sunglasses, maybe she isn't even that hot', 'you're just here for 20 seconds, more will come along'.

But none came. Waited there for an hour... Only girls I really didn't wanna fuck. Some eyed obviously. Made some small talk with the library workers, and left.

Did a good workout (made smalltalk while doing pullups on playing ground with a mother of ~30, she was kinda hot), ate lots, and decided to hit the supermarket. No talent.

Hit the library once more tonight. Did some work there, and strolled around the entire place (6 floors). No cute girls, there were very few people there. I almost opened an asian chick just for the hell of it, but refused. I refuse to open girls I don't want to fuck.

I'm beginning to think I should go more direct, everywhere. For example, while on the bike (everyone covers short distances with their bicycle here), I wanted to open a girl I was cycling past, but didn't have the balls. Found the excuse that it would be dangerous to pull out a phone in mid traffic (it probably is). Thought of something like this: "hey, nice [...]", then small talk a little bit, and when she heads in a different direction, say: "stop at the side here". And ask number. Other things I want to try: holler at girls from my balcony / room, but not sure how to do this.

But I need to focus on the basics first... Double effort tomorrow.

I messaged the girl I met at the library, no reply yet (been 6 hours now). This irritates me. I said: "Hey, did your teacher notice the huge improvements you made? GreenGranted". Too corny?

The girl who had a boyfriend I met yesterday at krav maga somehow found me on facebook, left a private message of a couple of paragraphs saying how she liked me, would've surely went on a date with me but had a boyfriend, wanted to remain friends, felt flattered, etc, hope I would accept that. I just said: "sure, shit happens". She was HOT on her pics, and she had a super corny boyfriend (I checked it out via her facebook), leaving all kinds of nice guy messages on her wall. I won't pursue this, but it's obvious she's showing some kind of interest. See what happens.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a more decent showing Will keep updating.

Do you commute or dorm/house?

Day 3

Woke up early again. Dressed in gray pants of a wool/cotton mix paired with a tucked in shirt and dark brown clark desert boots. This is a bit of peacocking; it's way more dressed up than 99% in my year of college (think hoodies, jeans). I felt very confident.

Went to the library to get work done. Scavenged the floors for pretty girls. Saw a very nice redhead with freckles, slighty above average sized boobs and a great ass (3 years my junior I later learned). Followed, she went to sit at a table on her own. I sat down diagonally from her.

Approach 1
I scrambled a bit in my stuff, then walked over and said:

"hey, can I borrow a pencil or a pen?"
She sought in her stuff, said "I don't think I have another one... Oh, but you can get pencils for free over there".
I said: "Where, I don't see it." She pointed again, and I saw cups filled with pencils. (I didn't even know they were there). I walked over, picked one up and sat in my spot, said "Thanks, problem solved".

5 minutes later her friend walks in. Fuck. She's not pretty. I wanted to wait till the friend went to the bathroom, then try for a quick: "I gotta run, but I think you're cute, wanna have a drink sometime?" It didn't happen.

At one point I said: "Hey, can you watch my laptop for a minute?", stood up and scavenged the library again. I wanted to open with: "hey, I gotta go back to my laptop, but I wanna flirt with you for one minute, is that OK?", but saw no more cute girls.

I had classes later on, but I wanted to wait it out. When I had about 15 minutes left, the hot girl and her friend went out on a break together, leaving their stuff behind. I thought, fuck, this went nowhere, then took a piece of paper, wrote:

"Hey, I'm a sucker for girls with freckles, want to go out for drinks sometimes? Just call me on xyz number."

I put it under her stuff and left. I could've been more playful like "Hey, I didn't get the chance to flirt with you", but it was all I could come up with at that time.

Approach 2
This was my hot co student. She was even hotter today as she had her makeup properly done, apparently because it was her birthday. She's not even living up to her full potential on all days, what a shame.

First lecture didn't get a chance, she came later with her group of friends. Second lecture, I waited outside the lecture room, checking my phone, like I was totally absorbed in some affair. When she came, I looked her in her eyes and said: "hey". Went behind her inside the lecture room, and scooted in beside her. First thing I said: "I never caught your name." She told me her name, she said she already knew mine (of course I knew hers too, we just never talked before).

I teased and flirted a little bit, stuff like:
hitting her thigh with the back of my hand and saying: "pay attention!" with a smirk when she was checking her phone.
When the break came, I said: "Hey, I'm going to get an apple at the canteen, walk along with me". But she didn't get the chance because two people came up to congratulate her. I didn't make the mistake of waiting around, I just walked alone.

During the second part of the lecture, I took out my phone and whispered: "Put your number in here". To my own satisfaction and surprise I pulled it off like a stoic - just everyday business (in my mind it already is). Of course she complied.

I wanted to steer the interaction sexual, I intented to sniff her hair, as I noticed she had lovely parfume on, then say: "do you always smell this good? Or just on your birthday?", but didn't get the chance as her friends were all around her and started yapping to her as soon as the lecture was over. I just walked out.

I scavenged the library this evening (thank god it's close), but no talent. Damn. Same thing in the supermarket. My legs hurt from all the walking around.

In progress
About 4 hours after our interaction, I texted my co student: "Hey, what's up? Do you always smell this good? Or just on your birthday? GreenGranted". 2 hours later, she sents back: "I'm fine and I always smell good ". In doubt wether I should text her this evening, I hate texting right back after she's delayed 2 hours. But I guess I could write something like: "in that case, maybe I'll sit next to you tomorrow".

Nothing from the chick in the library this morning. Oh well.

Nothing after my initial text to the library girl of tuesday (see few posts back). Can I safely write this one off?

Regarding the krav maga chick with a boyfriend, I intend to do nothing until she hits me up with something random on facebook or some other sign, in which case it's game on. I'll see her next tuesday anyway.

I think my best lead is my co student. She has a docile look on her face when she looks at me, which makes me incredibly horny. She gets some orbiting attention, but there are just so many, MANY beta boys in my environment (I study physics and our location has sciences only hahaha) so she must be longing for a rough fucking. My dick is eager for this one.

Don't send that text that you'll sit next to her. That's lame as fuck. I personally wouldn't have complimented her on her smell but teased her about it instead.

My standard close is "I'm going to take you out for a drink some time (pause for reaction). Put your number in my phone".

Don't ask girls if they wanna grab a drink some time, just tell them your intentions and they will follow.

Day four. No approaches today. Scavenged the library and the supermarket real quick today, nothing decent. Had a lot of stupid shit to do and had bad momentum. Didn't give it a proper chance.

I didn't text anything to my co student yesterday, then texted today:

"Let's go for a drink. How about sunday at 3?"

She texted: "I'm going to Scotland for a week, but I'm not really interested sorry".

I replied: "oh, ok, no problem. Thanks for telling me straight up."

Hmm. Thought she was into me. I was surprised I read her wrong. Did I fuck up somewhere in the texting? Too direct? Text about her smelling good too needy? I was under the impression that my number close was decent.


Feeling a bit down at the moment. Thoughts are popping in my head that breaking up with my gf was the wrong thing etc, how fun it was with her (it was an amazing relationship of 1.5 years, but she didn't want an open relationship and I finally just wanted to get out).

But this is like practicing the guitar and giving up at "Smoke on the Water", fuck that shit. I'm going to daygame tomorrow until I can't walk anymore.

Did two approaches on saturday and sunday each. Can't remember the details, but the girls weren't hooked. I've noticed that once I've done one approach on a day approach anxiety almost disappears. Good practice.

Went out at night, met a girl through mutual friends. She basically just followed me to my house. From one angle she looked pretty acceptable. I mean - she was in shape with average body, but she had an ugly face. I invited her up for wine.

Upstairs she said: "is it OK if I remove my shoes?" I chuckled.

But once we sat down I knew I really couldn't go through with this - such a huge quality drop from my ex-girlfriend, so I told her I wanted to sleep and let her out again after one glass. Kinda awkward. First time I've had an almost one nighter. Didn't even kiss, but she was completely up to be fucked that night, I'm sure.

At this point in time I think night game isn't going to work for me... I have to work hard to keep my state up, I've never really enjoyed going out in loud places. Then there are so many variables you can't control. I just much rather hit up girls I meet at day and get them on dates, a much more relaxed environment.

Kinda awkward. First time I've had an almost one nighter. Didn't even kiss, but she was completely up to be fucked that night, I'm sure.

At this point in time I think night game isn't going to work for me... I have to work hard to keep my state up, I've never really enjoyed going out in loud places. Then there are so many variables you can't control. I just much rather hit up girls I meet at day and get them on dates, a much more relaxed environment.

This is some good self-control. I'm sure this has put her hamster in overdrive... "he asked me up for wine..." etc etc. It might be worth texting her on a slow night just to see if it's fruitful.

Perhaps when your game/life is sufficient, I suggest pulling what you did this night on a beautiful girl -- with a little more interest on your part. I can tell you that it works when done right. I'll point you to a recent heartiste post here

This is good stuff, if you're new don't worry too much about the flakes, keep collecting the numbers and then work on your text game and dates to transition these into lays. You'll soon know what you are saying wrong on the approaches that are making the girls drop you from fuckable to friendzone.

Obviously if a hot girl is throwing it at you you're good.

But having the attitude of not caring if you fuck it up is -like you have with the ugly one- very important.

This. Also, did she give you a boner? If yes and you let her go, then that's your ego and its going to fuck you up when you find a girl that's "hotter than your ex" hot. Why? Because you're putting your ex on a pedestal and anyone whos as hot or hotter than her. Don't switch your game up for the hot ones because you will automatically come across as needy and try-hard when you do. That's because if you feel the need to "bring out the big guns" when you see a hot one, then you've already given her too much value which means you've given up your own frame of higher value which means you've blown the set before you even started.

No, she didn't give me a boner. I didn't know what I was thinking when I asked her up for wine. It's a shame though, she was a really kind girl with good humor. I could've done some charity that night.

Approached two girls today... One didn't give me a good response, I think it had to do with the way I lingered before I walked up to her, then spit: "I didn't know anyone rented movies anymore". Second girl I didn't find attractive on better inspection, so I bailed.

Roosh's latest post is very actual for me. I wanted to sharpen the challenge a bit by approaching at one least one girl before noon. That way I'm over the biggest hurdle early.

Damn, I need a base hit...

Hey you seem to be doing alright GreenGranted. Today i did my first approach. I wasn't trying to get her number, it was more a way of breaking the 'taboo' of approaching.. The beginning is where you learn the most man, don't let it get you down! Keep it up

Did 4 approaches today, but none felt for real. I didn't proceed for the number or date because I didn't really felt attracted OR thought I didn't have a chance. One I rambled very well, she lingered around like she wanted me to keep going, but I let her go because I wasn't attracted.

Problem I want to address:

I seem to have a belief that girls that are older or taller than me are by definition not interested in me. I'm on the short side, so a nontrivial portion of girls is taller. And I'm young, so with a lot of hot chicks I think: "well she's probably 25 and doesn't want me anyway" before approaching. This causes a lot of potential approaches to not happen.

Today, I opened 2 of those girls anyway, but I just smalltalked a bit and then ejected. Probably a bogus belief that must be eradicated.

Also, I need to get that fucking Dylan out of my cd player... I still feel like shit over my breakup some days, but I think that will be gone at the taste of first success. The act of writing these posts clears my head up most of the time.
