In recent times, I have said that the auto-immune responses to Thimerosal (mostly from vaccines) as well as the wide-spread use of hormone mimickers (xenostrogens) are two bio-chemical causes of the fertility rate decrease over the past 10 years. Crap like changing the definition of rape also contributes to the same.

The U.S. fertility rate stands at 1.72, for all races, at this time. It will go down A LOT further in the coming years (I expect 1.0 or even lower by '30).
