Stanislaus County Superior Court Judge Linda McFadden disagreed with Belsher's argument. The judge said a state law was in effect before the 1998 alleged incident, essentially making Hooker criminally liable for the rest of his life. "It's similar to murder, not having a statute of limitations," McFadden told Belsher.

I believe it's because of the thrill, why the age of consent is 18 in some places is beyond me though, it should be 16 everywhere.

A University of Michigan student who claims she got chlamydia from star football player Jabrill Peppers reportedly posted 5,000 scathing flyers around campus this week blasting him for giving her the sexually transmitted disease twice in the last year.

"You really are a despicable piece of s---. Never would I have thought you to be this terrible of a person," the unidentified woman wrote in the long rant.

"You could die today and I wouldn't even feel a tinge of sadness in my soul,” she added. “You are the absolute scum of the earth and I wish I never gave you months of my youth to waste."

The 660-word letter addressed to the school's 20-year-old defensive back was found in several locations throughout a campus building, including the women's bathroom, at least one co-ed posted on Twitter.

About 5,000 flyers were put up around Mason Hall, according to Barstool Sports.

Peppers, the freshman Michigan Wolverine who made his debut two weeks ago against Michigan State, fired back against the swirling rumors on Monday.

"The slander is crazy," he wrote on Twitter to his 48,000 fans. "My word is all I have, I will continue to walk w. my chest and chin high. People love bringing someone down. #prayedup."

The 6-foot-1 standout player from New Jersey was named the Air Force National Sophomore of the Year in 2011 in high school. He did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The woman behind the flyer said she twice contracted chlamydia from Peppers, who she claims knew about the disease the second time around but didn't say anything.

"I never so much as had a serious cold until I met you," she wrote. "Because I'm afraid of what I'll do to you if I see you, I am writing this. And because you've messed up my life, I'm going to do my best to mess up yours."

Chlamydia, the most commonly reported sexually transmitted disease in the U.S., can cause pain, infertility and problematic pregnancy.

The disease is easily treated with antibiotics but can wreak havoc in women who don't know they're infected.

"I would never play with anyone's health, and their reproductive health at that," the player's ex-lover wrote. "I hope you rot in hell."
