I'm also amused that Yahoo! found it news-worthy that the daughter of a man "accused of kidnapping and raping three women for a decade" is "disappointed" and "embarrassed."

Just another instance of excessive weight placed on a woman's feelings.

The understated language ("disappointed" and "embarassed") makes it sound like an Onion article, complete with the unintentionally comical use of quotation marks:
