I've been living in this city for almost 18 years and to sum it up, I'll say that I've been around the world and the biggest shit hole I've been to has been Manila and the biggest shithole I've lived in has been Toronto. I'm sorry, but the OP is describing my life to a T! I definitely feel him on this subject. I'm also a non-stereotypical black dude who has been stuck in DC for far too goddamned long, thanks to the shit economy everywhere else in this fucking country. Everything he's describing is 100% true, and his concerns 100% valid. For those who say "TORONTO'S THE HELL ON EARTH, OH NOES," let's be honest. The only reason you all are saying DC is better (by default) is that despite the white cunts that are insufferable (whether it's the psuedo-liberals or sorori-whores), there are plenty of black, latina, and asian bitches who will date white guys with little need of gaming them. Well guess what...black dudes in DC have it that much harder!

Even if it is the most feminazied city in Canada, Toronto is more of a free market when it comes to the dating/hooking up scene compared to the shithole that is DC! To the OP, Toronto isn't the best place in Canada, but it's a Hell of a lot better than DC! I suggest going to Toronto (if only just to leave DC) if possible, but make it a temporary stop to your ultimate destination. However, do some damn good research first to figure out how to avoid the feminist, yuppie, and douchey parts of the GTA.

Another suggestion, if it's easier, is to move out West. Some cities where you won't face as much hostility for your preference include Seattle, Minneapolis, Sacramento, and Denver. Other cities like San Diego, Las Vegas, Portland, and most of the Bay Area would more likely do as well, but I'd still do some research on those cities. But ultimately in your case, I'd look to relocating outside the country. The UK, Germany, Australia, and Canada would be good options. Eastern Europe and Russia....I'd think very hard as a black man before making that move.

The only thing I would say against your argument is that you're looking to get married. Marriage, IMO, is a concept that worked when women were truly submissive, went out of their way to please their man, raised their kids instead of leaving the school, daycare, and television/internet to do the work, and didn't buy into feminist bullshit. This forum is focused mostly on how to get laid, so the answers you may get (including the Anti-Toronto responses) are based on people who are looking to get a piece of ass in the fastest amount of time with the least amount of effort, which there's nothing with whatsoever . I concur with the responders that Toronto isn't great when it comes to getting laid (although still fucking better than DC), but it seems that you're looking for something different.

SuS - I speak as a mature black man that has travelled and lived in Toronto for over 25 years. The glory days of this city have long gone, I have no vested interested in whether the OP comes here or not. I will say I am not your stereotypical black guy, not that seems to make much difference in this city nowadays. Even American black guys use to slay it up here but even they are finding it harder these days, I actually receieved a message from one on this board who moved here for a girl and is now complaining.
The DC vs Toronto argument is old and quite frankly who really cares, it is like comparing a Pinto against a Gremlin. I would much rather talk about a Lamborghini vs Maserati.
Now to the sensitive issue - Race. White guys have it alot easier in this city socially and economically, they can also date any girl they choose and yet guys I know young and old complain. Playboys in this city are far and few between, most dudes get a girl and fall off the face of the earth never to be heard from.
One thing DC has over Toronto is jobs, there is a big shortage of jobs and I am seeing lots of dudes hanging in the Starbucks during the daytime looking for work. I am waiting on my next contract gig, fingers crossed.
I would agree with you about relocating to UK, Germany and Australia. I myself am looking to move back to the UK and also I would not rule out Eastern Europe, there are plenty of Multi-national companies looking for expats.
I love Toronto as a city, the problem is the people.

Well rudebwoy, that makes three of us mature non-ghetto black men (including the OP). To your response, I'm not going to act like I know about Toronto since my week of visiting the city pales in comparision to your 25 years. But with my 25 years living in and around DC, I will stand with my original conclusion that DC is worse than Toronto, but in respect for your knowledge about Toronto, both cities should be avoided at all costs.

To the OP, if you must go to Canada, I would venture to the Western cities. I mentioned Minneapolis, Denver, and Seattle as American alternatives, but Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver are respectively the Canadian equivalents, so you should have nothing to worry about. And in the case that you break up from your girl, you won't have any problem finding chicks who are "down with the swirl" in those cities.

@Sus - I admit as a white guy that I may not be able to relate, but I have lived in both DC and Toronto-Occupied-Ontario. DC is annoying and overpriced - if you put in the work you can still get a cute LTR while not having to be a black belt PUA. Though one will get much better ROI in other US cities. If DC was not so ridiculously expensive, I don't think people would bash it very much.

Toronto-Occupied-Ontario will crush your soul. From multiple men in multiple environments of multiple races have said the same thing. Kosko mentioned a while back that he did not see the dating down in DC that he saw in Toronto. I 100% agree with him.

First i want to thank everyone here who dropped in some knowledge. it's good to hear varying types of perspectives on Toronto.

i have to make good contacts and scout out toronto myself. basically DC is only good for career options. I'm 30 and i graduate this year. i'm gonna be doing cyber security. and i need to spend time building myself up.

at the end of the day we all want the same thing. we want to be some place where we can be happy, have a good attractive woman on our arms (no matter what her race/color is), and be in an environment that appreciates us. right?

DC (dating wise) is very hard for non-stereotype black men. its very rough!

its rough for all men, but there is a special type of toughness and dysfunction non-steretotype black men have to endure. and i'm afraid i can only demonstrate the bullshit we put up with thru videos because its so fucking complicated for a non-black person to understand the dynamics. to truly understand it, one has to experience it.

so to those who can't understand why i would consider Toronto and think i'm a sad individual for doing so, you clearly don't know what its like on this side of the fence. therefore i can't be mad at you for insulting me because you don't understand.

and the reality is when we can understand history, racism and prejudice better, we got to look at the history of DC. DC is still very close to the Mason-Dixon line. DC is the nations capital. there is alot of history here. negative history.

Sure we have a black president and america is SLOWLY changing. But lets accept the fact that there will ALWAYS be hostility and racial dynamics between all races. in my view the black community is equally as racist as the white community is here in DC. its equal. i just feel that certain groups have more control and economic power, and decision making power in comparison to other groups.

so when we talk about interracial dating (especially if its white with black) and even more so if its black men with white women then it becomes a HOT TOPIC. it becomes an ISSUE.

i think this film here does a good job of examining those dymanics.





the reality is simple. there is a gender war happening within the black community and we black men (especially non-stereotype black men) are simply tired of our women and how they treat us.

however, non-stereotype BLACK men are often deemed as sellouts by our own community and family if we chose to date outside the race with white women. there is a hostile and sometimes aggressive in-your-face backlash for boycotting black women. its real and its tough.

we become targets by all types of people. especially minorities and mainly angry black women.

thus..interracial couples end up catching hell from all races on some level. Some mixed couples simply suffer silence while others don't last very long and can't stay together because of the bullshit.

to be honest, i like the idea of a diverse middle class. infact i fantasize about it actually. its not enough to be in a place that is just 'accepting' and 'tolerant'

When i hear that ALOT of foreigners are moving there in Canada and there is a diverse middle class in Toronto. it makes me curious. i like the idea that there is a place where i can go to nice resturants, go out to the movies, with my pretty girlfriend-future wife and hold hands. and not get angry stares. i would like to live in a place like that.

and so i have to give Toronto a chance. once i finally scout out the place for myself, i promise i will return here and do an extended analysis on the city. but i can't now because i haven't been there yet.

and i have to say once agian, i'm not trying to go to toronto to game the women there. i want to possibly settle after scouting the area properly first first and then travel over to eastern europe (ukraine and the safe-integrated parts of russia) and invite my future woman to live with me there in Canada.

listen to me. please listen. i talk to black people who live in toronto. and its interesting to hear the varying opinions. i've talked to black people both male and female who have the exact opposite opinion you do about toronto who grew up there and still live there and make a decent money too.

and i have talked to black people who feel as you do. also what about Montrealer? what is his view, he lives there. does he feels the same as you?

And i can only conclude that there are other factors that contribute to opinions about racism, how people experience it there, a persons age, personality, looks, life values, life goals, background, a persons economic standing and why certain men do well with women there, fit into the environment, feel comfortable and other men deal with b.s. from women.

Your "experience" is talking to people and watching you-tube video's.
My experience is from having lived in Europe, been to Eastern Europe many times and dating girls in the region.
As for the skinheads and prejudice in Eastern Europe, never experienced it but trust me you will experience that in Russia/FSU.

In DC the women who gave me the hardest time were Black!

I couldn't get no love from them and they were not even light handed in shooting me down. My time in DC showed me two worlds: There is the big large black professional scene, and the other scene. Both scenes operate in two separate worlds with thier own venues and locals. I abandonded the "black scene" quick because the girls were showing me zero love. If that was my first taste of DC women I would of screamed but I quickly realized I was no match for the largest crop of successful profesional black men in America. I was gaming with federal lawyers, MDs, and NFL players. Zero chance.

But...I had no issues in gaming local DC women (non-black), for me logistics fucked me over more-so -- but getting interest, make outs, and getting women actively being into me was not hard. IMO It was easy as hell because the competition was so weak -- DC guys are all Rhode Island losers with little flair. They wear ugly Khaki shorts and jogging runners to the bar, and suits that fit poorly.

As crazy as it sounds I might even go back to visit there. The DC central city is nice, well kept, and clean and does not like like a FSU refugee camp like Toronto does. The women yea were kind of bitchy but nowhere near Toronto levels. I get headaches when out here in Toronto and no place else -- it is that frustrating.

My take on DC is that there are to many dorks and nerds present, and few men are actually cool there. Also many professional black men fall into the trap of limiting themsleves to the strictly black scene. The last trap is that the City is rife with modest mediocre women -- but again it's not like DC men are GQ models either -- it was very even as far as couples go. But for a man whom is putting in effort to stand out and be cool I can see how this would get boring as there is little room for upgrading to really attractive women.

In Toronto men more times then not date down which IMO is a even greater sin then simply being with your equals. You've got aristocrat Bay street men whom probably model part time with women whom look no better then wet cats sitting shotgun in their Audis -- this place is truly warped.

For DC black men it's your own choice to stay boxed in to certain scenes. This fake race paranoia keeps people artificially separated. In many instances in DC - out solo - I was the only black person in the bar. I didn't not blink at this, and actually embraced it -- but I suspect many DC black men would maybe feel uncomfy in that setting.

DC men should explore their other scenes. White brothers will kill it branching out into the Black scene where IMO you can find some of the hotest Black female talent in the county, while my DC black brothers should branch of into the more general scenes. You always do better when you stick out.

If your two picky or close minded to like other types of women though - adapt and learn. The one thing that Toronto has taught me is that I love all types of women. As long as they are hot my dick will want to fuck them. The darkest Sri Lankans to the fairest Irish women - been with them all and I could not care less as long as they are sexy and hot.

good analysis. that's pretty much what the deal is here in DC. i go to an hbcu - howard university located here in dc. and these awful elitist professional women who gave u a hard time probably graduated from howard.

those professional black women are 70% single, so where does their beauty and elitism get them? no where. and so then they become angry women who spite men like myself who try to explore other options and explore the 2nd dating scene you describe. unfortunately those women unite together in their anger and become like their own mafia. and they try to use whatever power they have to make men like me suffer. somtimes thier hostility is overt and sometimes its very subtle and you can't see it. and all i know is i cannot fight against a whole population/sub-culture of angry women and other types of jealous men who aim to team me down.

DC men should explore their other scenes. White brothers will kill it branching out into the Black scene where IMO you can find some of the hotest Black female talent in the county, while my DC black brothers should branch of into the more general scenes. You always do better when you stick out.

If your two picky or close minded to like other types of women though - adapt and learn. The one thing that Toronto has taught me is that I love all types of women. good analysis. that's pretty much what the deal is here in DC. i go to an hbcu - howard university located here in dc. and these awful elitist professional women who gave u a hard time probably graduated from howard.

those professional black women are 70% single, so where does their beauty and elitism get them? no where. and so then they become angry women who spite men like myself who try to explore other options and explore the 2nd dating scene you describe. unfortunately those women unite together in their anger and become like their own mafia. and they try to use whatever power they have to make men like me suffer. somtimes thier hostility is overt and sometimes its very subtle and you can't see it. and all i know is i cannot fight against a whole population/sub-culture of angry women and other types of jealous men who aim to team me down.

many black men are scared to venture outside of the box because of the fear of the social backlash. some of their fear is valid too. for some people dating outside of their race here in DC is not a good career move. DC is a very political environment too.

but the reality is - its all about gathering information. when i finally visit canada, i'll go to all the suggested places and not only toronto. and once again. the reason why so many of you guys hate toronto is because of the women. right?

@rudeboy Look, I'm sorry but you're going to encounter racism wherever you go. It's just a matter of degrees. I'm not going to claim it's fair or right, but it will happen no matter how much you don't like it. Especially in sports.

Is there racism in the NHL? Yes. But is there racism in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and Professional Soccer? - yep, there's plenty.

The biggest obstacle to his theoretical future son is not going to be an angry fan or annoying opponent calling him a nigger (sorry, I'm not going to use the n-word here, because let's be honest, that's what they would say), it's getting time on the ice so he can get the practice to humiliate that jerk. Which costs a fortune in Toronto. I can not tell you how many of my T-O-O friends complain about that.

Also, you've got to keep in mind the cost of living. You can still have some hope of buying affordable housing in Alberta. That's a fantasy in T-O-O. If housing is affordable in Ontario, that means that there are no jobs there.

My point, thought I may not have made it well, was whether you are looking to swoop chicks or start a family, T-O-O is a bad deal and racial tolerance is fairly wide spread in Canada (but far from perfect - then again doesn't Calgary have a gay Indian as mayor?). So why on earth torture yourself?

It didn't used to be a bad deal if you wanted to start a family in T-O-O and could pull in a higher than average salary. But those days are gone.

Another BS thread, I tried to give an honest opinion but some people don't want to hear the truth. If you are convinced Toronto is the place for you why do you need to start this thread! Others who live here have stated similar views about the City but you are not convinced, calling me a "hater" of all things. Laughable to say the least, I and others shake my head at your ignorance. Roosh himself stated many reasons apart from the women why this place sucks.
Travel first to Russia/FSU and live life, then we can have a proper conversation. You-tube and talking to people does not cut it my friend.

I will agree that Edmonton and Calgary have much better job prospects, but I could not see myself living there for many reasons.
